Had a wonderful experience on our trip (24/07/20). A lot of activities were not operative due to the lockdown but we were pleased to be able to go on this boat journey.
There was only 7 of us on the boat so plenty of space to be apart. It was a beautiful day and we were very lucky to see a large pod of pilot whales about an hour in, there were no dolphins out that day (we had seen them on other trips in Europe before so wasn't an issue). We were able to stay and enjoy them playing around for quite some time. The Captain was great, took wonderful care of us we had baguette sandwiches when the anchor went down and unlimited drinks, he was very attentive.
The anchor was down in a cove area on the route back. He said at the start we could only swim if it was safe, I really appreciated this. It was safe and thoroughly enjoyed the swim.
These are not negatives, just some observations based on previous trips we have one in the Greek islands and Bulgaria; the price was for 3.5 hours only, previously I have paid the same price for an all day trip with a food buffet (and drinks). I didn't mind paying it on this occasion as it had great reviews and as mentioned not many activities were open. There was no snorkelling equipment, again I suspect this was down to safety practices due to COVID-19.
None of this takes away from the fact me and my family had a wonderful day, it was our first time seeing whales and we were honestly so thrilled to see so many, some up close and be able to spend so much time enjoying it. We were very very grateful to have a day our of the hotel to enjoy the local marina and marine life.

Booked for my birthday amazing day sun was shining, saw three different types of animals. Bottle nose dolphin, Atlantic dolphin and pilot whales. Smiley was very attentive to us telling us information in english, definitely book the sailing boat of you get the chance due to the number of people it felt more private. We felt fortunate to not be of a crowded boat and enjoyed it more due to that.

Amazing from beginning to end. The boat was pristine, and our captain Conrad really made it super special for us. Very personable, and making every effort to make us comfortable, answer all our questions and eagerly look for dolphins and whales. Because of his amazing efforts, our son saw over 10 whales and 5 dolphins. He and we will never forget this experience!

Very good excursion, smooth pick up prior, friendly staff on pier and boat, very attentive and engaging BUT the food wasn’t the best we’re vegetarian/ Vegan and basically got a pre packed bowl of salad to eat. The rest of the folks on board had a plate of white bread ham/cheese sandwiches, 1 bowl of crisps and some Spanish potato omelette, just thought no real effort or thought or imagination involved.
Loved seeing the Pilot whales and swimming in the cove. We recommend it but take some extra food

A brilliant experience provided by a very well organised company, easy to book and spot on scheduling. The two gentlemen that were in charge, Conrado and Robbie could not have been more informative, attentive and sympathetic to my wife and children being a wee bit sea sick for a good portion of the trip, lol. Both a credit to the company. Before that kicked in both children were allowed to have a steer too. It was a great thing to add to the holiday and we were fortunate to see both Pilot Whales and Dolphins. Would highly recommend …. 5*

Friendly captain/guide, we were able to see whales and stop for a “swim” (too cold!) in the ocean. Offered drinks and Paella/sandwiches and crisps during our trip which did last a full 3 hours.
Slight hiccup with out booking through TUI, but rectified satisfactorily by putting us on another boat with just 4 of us and the captain/guide for a chilled out experience.

We were out at sea with a family of five and captain Victor who offered us an excellent service with enough explanation but not dominating with his conversation, nice selection of drinks and good lunch. We saw turtles, dolphins and whales + went swimming in calmer waters near Los Gigantes. All in all 6 hours flew by and it was our best day on Tenerife.

My husband and I loved this boat trip. It was perfect. We did a 3 hour trip in the morning. We saw lots of dolphins and pilot whales which was amazing. The guy on the boat was very friendly, relaxed and kind. It was a really smooth and enjoyable boat ride. We were given drinks on the route along with a sandwich and bubbles and even stopped off to jump in the sea for 20 minutes. It was a wonderful experience. The boat was gorgeous and we only had 10 guests all together. Highly recommend and a highlight on our mini moon. Thank you!

Amazing trip! We got lucky and saw a lot of dolphins and pilot whales. Very friendly staff. Overall great experience, would recommend! Also a big thanks to Captain Conrad for the nice trip!

Just need to ask if people have suffered with sea sickness on this trip? Is the sea generally choppy?
This is after a really bad experience on a catamaran in Portugal whereby people were being sick and got thrown about. I'm not generally prone to sea sickness and usually love boat trips.
