About
In our excursions you will find the best way to travel the island by its most common routes as well as roads not so traveled. Enjoy the scenery and the weather while driving a state-of-the-art machine, something that is not possible every day. It is one of those ideal experiences to do on vacation.
From the Lanzarote Safaris excursion center our land and road routes leave. Dunes, volcanic areas, typical areas of vines, mountains, tracks, villages, with views of the Risco de Famara and La Graciosa on one coast and Islote de Lobos and Fuerteventura on the other ... all that and more in our tour of 3 hours long.
We pass through La Geria, where the wine cellars are, close to the national park of Timanfaya. From there the Buggy Tour on Maverick passes trough the red volcano on the shore where we will stop for coffee and photos. We go through the sand dunes, the village of Soo, and then we go back through Arrecife, Puerto del Carmen, and Puerto Calero

- F8991ENlindseym0 contributionsPolaris Slingshot TourHad a fabulous adventure during our Slingshot Tour and Tony made the day extra fun with his knowledge of the Canary Islands and the history which has made the island as it is today. Well worth the money and a good day exploring fabulous Lanzarote.Written November 9, 2024
- arturosZ8167TL0 contributionsAmazing trip and amazing views. Slingshot in desperate need of routine maintenance.I loved the trip! The views and sights were amazing. Wow! What a beautiful island! My only complaint is related to the maintenance of the Slingshot I drove. There was a belt or something that was making a horribly loud squealing noise while driving. The only way to quiet down the noise was to put it in neutral and coast. In addition to this noise, the slingshot I drove had a broken horn and the tachometer didn't work. Finally, my tires were also almost completely bald, but not as bald as tires from other vehicles in the group. Don't get me wrong. The trip was a lot of fun. But man, the Slingshot I drove was in desperate need of routine maintenance.Written November 9, 2024
- kimiO3554XT0 contributionsFantastic trike trip great communication Andy was very knowledgeable. This trip was absolutely fantastic, Andy the guide had great knowledge of all the areas we went to, had photo opportunities and stops for refreshments. Trikes were in great condition very comfortable on the back throughly enjoyed. Great communication from the company as we missed our transfer so was rescheduled which was greatly appreciated. Top trips will definitely go again 💯Written November 9, 2024
- RedRose280 contributionsBest tour and guide ever!Absolutely amazing 3 hour Polaris Slingshot tour, total of 80km across the island to Caleta de Famara (30 minutes break) and back through Parque Nacional De Timanfaya. Mixed group of Polaris and Trikes, led by the wonderful, instructive, safety conscious and great fun, Tony. All care is taken to ensure you feel comfortable and confident to drive whichever vehicle you choose before you set off and during the trip. All on roads, so speed limits apply, shame as the Polaris has a top speed of 200km per hour!!! Wonderful way to see the heart of Lanzarote, away from the tourist spots. Beautiful Island. The whole team at the centre were excellent and mille grazie to Tony. Only downside, they wouldn't let me keep the Polaris!! Don't forget sunscreen! Best tour ever, still grinning a day later!Written November 7, 2024
- FarAway178749867720 contributionsSuper Slingshot!Amazing scenery and Tony the guide was a good laugh!! Admittedly the Slingshots are a little noisy and smelly (diesel fumes) but you are much closer to the Lanzarote landscape compared to viewing it through tinted glass on an air conditioned coach 😎Written November 2, 2024
- kris l0 contributionsWe had the Friday 2 hour tourWe got berty as our tour guide. Me and my son went on the tour in the slingahots and we had trikes on our tour also. He made it fun and it's a really good route to see the side of lanzarote away from the "touristy" parts. Stopped in famara for a refreshment and headed back. The place has alot of activities to do from camels to buggys, horse riding and more. Would highly recommend.Written October 26, 2024
- Dava20100 contributionsVery very good !The cars are cool, great guide and rally good tour of island. 1 hr is signing up and safety etc but then full 3 hours of driving and a nice break in a small town on the coast half way through. Tony is a great guide and we had a great timeWritten October 17, 2024
- PaulineH12940 contributionsTony is the best guide. So we arrived at the ranch and we weren't sure what to expect. Then we meet Tony our guide. He was fantastic. He explained everything in detail and made sure we were all OK with what he told us. We had so much fun. Driving around and people waving at us. It was an amazing experience and thanks to Tony for that. He was such good fun but he always put our safety first. Will definitely go back. Thanks Tony.Written October 11, 2024

- 6prb0 contributionsGreat experience - a must do.Great experience, fantastic way to see the island and experience the wonders of the scenery with a few historic facts shared by our very cool guide Tony. Unknown (to me) german make trike however a very good ride behaving very well while riding along the coastline with sandbanks on the road. New experience to me as i ride a motorbike but never a trike. Tony gave riding training indidually under health & safety regulations which took about 15 mins to teach the basics to handle the vehicle. Very easy and stressless. Highly recommend, excellent to get to know other interesting visit points. 3 hours went flying looking more like it was 15mins.Written September 29, 2024

Whilst on holidays in Lanzarote, my son booked this excursion for two buggies, however he had not seen the information lover down on the booking form that stated you need a full licence to do this excursion. Near the top it just stated you need a licence, so my son only had a provisional licence and when we arrived we was asked to show our licence. We did this and my son was then informed he could not drive as only having a provisional license which he was really disappointed. He came with me as a second person in the buggy. There was a fair bit of driving on the roads of Lanzarote around 50% which is why you need a full licence, and around 50% off road. When driving off road it was very bumpy and dusty, so a mask and goggles or sun glasses are a must. The buggies are all automatic so it's a case of selecting the high gear and off you go following the guide. Having done this I know that I don't think I would do this excursion again, but to be honest its worth a go, but remember you need a full driving licence.

We did the Ninja buggy 3 hour tour. Our guide was great and explained well how to use the buggies. We were taken to some great photo spots and a winery at the end of the tour.
The buggies are great to drive and manual with tough gearboxes so make sure your confident at using a manual gearbox. They have auto options available as a different tour with different vehicles so still an option for this.
It was great fun, make sure to wear sunglasses and get a mask or bandana to cover your face as it gets very dusty! Most of the sea front shops sell these for a couple of euros so grab one before you go there.
You stop half way for a refreshment break so don’t need to worry about taking extra drinks.
Overall I’d highly recommend and if we return I would be looking to book again!

Absolutely amazing! Havier and Hugo were amazing guides, and very understanding and careful about the safety of the group. They waited for those who struggled and offered solutions to the who did not want to drive anymore. I was also given a personal driving lesson from Havier free of charge mid way through to help with my confidence driving the buggy! The route was amazing, a combination of off road and main roads was great, we were also allowed to stop multiple times to take pictures for some fabulous memories! I wouldn’t recommend driving the buggy if you are not a confident driver as you need to be able to confidently go on the roads and adjust to the gears of the buggy etc, but other than that it was brilliant!

Great experience. We always book buggies when we are on holiday and tours are available and this didn’t disappoint. Great teams, lots of off road, fast enough action that you get the genuine thrill you’re after and great scenery. The team are fun and friendly. They do a faster version of the buggies which was quite a bit more expensive that we will book next time. Take a bandana to cover your mouth for the off-roading.

Today we had the adrenaline rush with Aventura lanzabuggy it is a mix of on and off road with some beautiful scenery mixed in, we paid the extra and had a buggy each, it was so worth it reaching speeds of up 60kph with a few comfort stops.
Before you start the guide explains about the buggy and how it works, along with the do’s and don’t.
If you do this trip which I highly recommend make sure you have sunglasses (preferably wrap around) and old clothes as you will get dirty.

Yesterday we went on the three hour Maverick buggy trip around lanzarote it was absolutely brilliant fun, there were 6 of us in 3 buggies, ages from 16-48 and we had Carlos who was our guide, he was great and made the trip so much fun, he even went the extra mile to get my sons hat back when it blew off just down the road from the centre and popped back on his quad to find it for him, so massive THANK YOU CARLOS, for that.
Expect to get dusty, so wear dark clothing, we saw so many parts of lanza that we hadn't seen before and we have been here plenty of times.
I had some questions and WhatsApp'd beforehand (number on the website) and the lady was very helpful, so thank you all at Adventura Lanzabuggy for a brilliant family day, we would definitely recommend and absolutely do the trip again.

The bus collected us from our hotel and took us to the venue where we filled out some forms and the guides explained how the buggies worked. We had two kids aged 12 & 9 so they were passengers. The guides were great crack, Carlos and the big dog from team ninja will keep you entertained. The guides lead you the entire way and as they tell you at the start, it’s a tour not a race.
You definitely get your moneys worth as they take you over a lot of the island including through vineyards and puddles. Don’t wear good clothes, bring goggles and a buff to keep the dust away, you WILL get dusty but it is worth it!!

This was one of our trip highlights. We had an absolute blast even though we got caught in a torrential downpour.
I recommend wearing a hoodie that you can tie around your head to help lower the amount of dust in your eyes. The scarf they offer is worth it's value by a long shot. You are fully exposed so dress appropriately. Layers are recommended. Be prepared to take photos while you're the passenger. There are lots of opportunities for amazing views.
The motor is loud. If you're sensitive to that, bring noise cancelling headphones.

We were persuaded to do the Maverick RZR 3 hour tour by our friends who had done this before and were not disappointed. Fabulous experience and well worth the money.
The time just flew by because of how enjoyable it was.
Our guide was superb and helpful.
The scenery was stunning and the whole drive experience was excellent and would definitely do it again.
Word of warning, wear sunglasses, a face covering and old clothing as you get battered with sand. Sounds stupid but would also recommend wearing a hoodie or some sort of jumper if you do the morning tour as the wind was quite strong and we did feel cold in just tshirt and shorts. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Driving the spider, you do need experience on a motorbike or scooter, there is a powerful motor between your legs, respect it.
Totally loved the experience that Jonias gave us, you do need a jacket and trousers, it gets a bit chilly up there. Our best coffee so far at the half way cafe.
