- Annabel S0 contributionsBrilliant and quiet tourA lovely day trip in a small group. We went at a good but relaxed pace up the first hill (3 km/1hr) which is the “corona” volcano, with a stunning view into the rim at the top. The second part was a longer walk up a ridge line and some cliffs; with wildflower meadows and incredible views of all sides of the island/seas/volcanoes/mountains! The guide was friendly but not over-the-top and the “four seasons in one day” was quite the experience. Wear trail shoes or trainers with good grip, hiking boots not nessecary. Altogether a unique and special day.Written March 12, 2025
- Departure599826732880 contributionsBeautiful walk in a fascinating volcanic landscapeThis was a lovely hike on the North side of the island - up to the top of 'La Corona' volcano, and then across the cliffs with breathtaking views out to sea. Our guide was super friendly and gave us lots of interesting information about the landscape on the way. Highly recommend!Written January 12, 2025

- larryp3210 contributionsDry LanzaroteLanzarote is a very dry, arid island. The tour was average; nothing extraordinary. Alejandro was courteous and professional. He would answer our questions but he will not provide a continuous narrative of the culture, geography, economy, etc.Written October 13, 2023
- J7949VJmatthewb0 contributionsGreat Full Day out!Splendid day out! We really enjoyed the whole day! Collection and drop off were straightforward and on time. Guide was fun and helpful and provided insights at every stop. The caves were interesting and the views spectacular at each stop. Bus driver did a great job! Very pleased I wasn't driving especially on the part of the tour through the volcanic rock. Good value for money and would recommend to others. Saved time too, as didn't have to stand in line for any of the places we visited!Written July 31, 2023
- 881stewarto0 contributionsExcellent half day tour of South Lanzarote.A really enjoyable and informative half day tour. Alejandro was an excellent guide, taking us to some fascinating parts of Lanzerote including a walk into El Cuervo volcano and the vineyards of La Geria. We appreciated his relaxed, friendly approach and he was great at answering all our questions. Would highly recommend.Written July 9, 2023
- julie15420 contributionsDiscovery Lanzarote’s VolcanoesLoved my walk around the volcanoes- seeing more of the island up close- here is the essence of Lanzarote. Amazing how you can see so much of what happened 300 years ago. Alejandro was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly; would definitely recommend - don’t forget decent footwear.Written March 17, 2023
- karas3890 contributionsCanceled with little noticeHighly HIGHly disappointed. We booked this trip for 2in Lanzarote months in advance and prepaid. Less than 18 hours before our departure the tour company canceled our tour stating they overbooked. This was already scheduled on our last full day so we weren’t able to reschedule given their extremely short notice. They shouldn’t have waited til 18:30 the night before leaving us empty. I was most excited for this for our short visit. Please go with another trusted company.Written January 1, 2023
- jessicalA5173ZA0 contributionsLava EarthThis hike, coupled with the one organised by the same guide in the Volcanoes National Park, allows us to capture the contrasts of the unique, powerful and yet elusive landscapes of Lanzarote. Alejandro is an attentive guide, passionate about nature and his background in geography offers an interesting added value to learn more about the island and its fascinating history (you might also discover surprising things about the island's inhabitants along the way ;) ). Don't hesitate to challenge him on the subject ! Highly recommended expérience :)Written October 14, 2022
- LightPacker4574340 contributionsGreat trekking. Highly recommendWe had a great day, discovering the north of Lanzarote. - Clare F0 contributionsGreat day out - highly recommend!Had the perfect day on this tour! Alejandro was so kind and patient with my family. We saw so much of the beautiful island without the stress of driving ourselves and we never felt rushed at all. Alejandro also took us to a dreamy restaurant by the beach for lunch - I could have happily sat there all day. Highly recommend this trip to everyone…I’ll be back!Written December 5, 2021
- natalia208790 contributionsGreat tour, highly recommendExcellent tour! Would highly recommend. Very prompt pick up by Alejandro, comfortable vehicle and very personable guide with great taste in music! We were able to go to all the spots we wanted to and take our time exploring. Bonus points to Alejandro for taking us to amazing lunch spot and lesser known bodega with no crowds and delicious wine.Written November 24, 2021

We picked this tour because we prefer small group tours with local companies. This did not disappoint. Communication was excellent with confirmation emails to add details of our pick up, then a message the day before confirming the pick up time. The walk lasted about three hours and was well worth it. Great value for money. We were given a bottle of water before the walk and offered a cereal bar snack during the walk which was thoughtful and appreciated! Alejandro is a knowledgeable guide who is enthusiastic about the island and its history. The whole walk was fascinating. We would definitely recommend this - especially if you like to get off the beaten track and experience a less touristy side of Lanzarote.

Hiking without major difficulties, Alejandro is super friendly and considerate. The explanations are always interesting. We had taken with transfer, picked up at the hotel directly, very comfortable.
This activity allows you to discover in half a day the volcanic landscapes of Lanzarote, the guide is extra.
I highly recommend it.

The tour was very reasonably priced and lasted around 4 hours including pickup and drop off. Alejandro was the guide and the owner of the company. His English is clear to understand.
I learned things I didn't know beforehand and we were able to walk around the rim of the volcano and around them and get really close to the lava fields and lichen as well.
The landscape is absolutely beautiful and isn't like anything I've seen before.
The group was really nice too so that's always a bonus. I really enjoyed it.

The trek was good, and the guide Alejandro was good at explaining things (history, geology etc.) We did some light/moderate walking/climbing but stayed outside the Timanfaya national park (which I did not know before, and neither will you, unless you spend some time researching) which was kind of a bummer because you do not get to see "live" volcanos. All in all was nice, but for this kind of $ you can rent a car and do many more things (plus the national park itself, albeit that will set you off an additional 15 euros, I think). Alternatively, it seems (after some research) that you can also get a bus and trek your way (about 5k) into this route with El Cuevo and its neighbors.

Going out of main season can be a bit of a gamble. We arrived only to find that there were not allowing anyone else in the afternoon, so we return the day after.
Extraction of money can be a bit painful on some of these things,,,, how much...
I only want to visit not buy the place.
Well they kindly let me in with a car and family, feeling £50 lighter..
Driving along the undulating road only to find a traffic jam.
We waited calmly and we're eventually allowed through the stoppage to join a yet another traffic jam...
I think the coach may be a better option because that just flies through.
Spending an hour satin what could be described as a site of special scientific interest, the wardens a quick to pepper you if you get out of your car...
Thank god we had air conditioning for the hour that we queued.
Unlike the Volkswagen driver, I think you should really stick to the road
(I am curious if it's still there?)
Ones parked, there is an efficient process to get you to the bus and off you go.
I don't think I'd like to try driving that track in my car, the bus drivers are quite happily doing a Italian job style drive..
(Seriously, when they stop on the ridge you may change your mind)
I'm pretty sure I saw TUI coach do the route,
Finish the site scene and then off to see them set fire to a bush and throw water down the hole...
Brilliant I watched it a few times!
Restaurant is a little... Underwhelming.
But I think you're just paying for the location... For god's sake they don't have to pay for gas they just use the fire hole!
It was a reasonable meal, in a good way.
I won't forget it anyway for the location

Alejandro led the tour. He explained things really well and told us a lot about the island, how it was formed and the volcanic landscape. The hike in a small group was just right.
The view from above down into the crater was gigantic; seeing the results of the volcanic eruption up close was overwhelming.
You can also take part in this tour without a rental car. Alejandro picked me up from the hotel and brought me back.
If you want to experience Lanzarote away from mass tourism, I can only recommend this tour.

Our guide Sabrina was super friendly, very informative, and made the whole experience very memorable and enjoyable. It was also sweet of her to share some snacks at the end of the long walk. My husband and I had a wonderful time exploring the volcanoes with Sabrina and we highly recommend this tour.

Nice visit with very nice panoramas but order placed for a visit in English and this one took place only in Spanish. Even after warning that I did not understand Spanish, the visit was conducted only in Spanish. It’s a shame because the explanations seemed interesting and necessary to understand the landscapes and species present. For the rest, Sabrina is very friendly 😊

Alejandro is a very knowledgeable guide and very accommodating. The spots he took us to were spectacular and would be easily missed if you did not have the lead of an experienced guide. I learned a lot about Lanzarote on this trek and would recommend this tour to anyone looking to go trekking in Lanzarote.

What a wonderful experience! Together with the family and 3 couples we made a 3 hour trip through a breathtaking landscape. Sabrina, our guide, knew how to tell us all about the origin of this part of this island. Very interesting and fun! The trek was over in no time. The children and we had a good, but above all educational time. Highly recommended. You ‘understand’ the landscape a lot better afterwards!
