- 1La PalmaStop: 3 hoursEnjoy 2.5 hours of navigation and adventure near the coast of La Palma, meeting whales, dolphins, turtles, birds and other marine animals that want to share some time with us and let themselves be photographed. When it's over, it will be an unforgettable experience. Having had the dolphins so close, or seeing a pod of pilot whales in the underwater vision, or listening to the blow of a whale in the distance and getting closer until it comes out again to breathe... Live it from beginning to end. Each time is different and magical. You will want to repeat. Dolphins, whales and other inhabitants of the sea are marine animals, whose home we visit. Although we try to ensure that you enjoy sightings on all our outings, they are sovereign and decide whether or not they want to meet us. At the end of the route we will approach half a mile from the lava flows of the Cumbre Vieja volcano to explain some of the details and anecdotes that this natural phenomenon has left us.Read more

It was a great experience: great boat, very professional crew who really took care about passengers and about our good experience. All security measures were taken (distancing, temperature check etc), plus it was limited amount of the people on the boat (easy to keep a distance). We were lucky to see a numbers of dolphins and also wale’s). Thank you for the pleasant emotions P.S. also we were served with very tasty snacks :)

We had booked our trip (the 2.5hr Northern Adventure) online in advance, very easy on the website. On the day itself, it was easy to reach the port of Tazacorte and to locate the Fancy II desk. From ther on, we were helped by very friendly and enthousiastic people. We were approximately 40 people while the Fancy II has a max capacity of 60, so plenty of room on board. Drinks and fresh fruits were plenty available, some snacks (sandwiches) were also handed out. Unfortunately, both my daughter (4yrs) and myself got seasick (seems we're quite sensitive to that...) towards the end of the trip. Kudos to the guys on board for being so attentive and supportive to us! Meanwhile, my wife and son fully enjoyed seeing a group of pilot whales, both underneath the water and from above. The underwater vision windows are a very nice extra! (enjoyed them before I got seasick). In brief: if you're not too sea-sensitive, this trip is something to try out while you're in La Palma! (don't forget to bring a sweater: you'll be at sea and moving at quite some speed, so it gets a bit chilly)

It was a good trip aboard Fancy 2. The boat is not as big, as you might think. there are about 24 seats. I really enjoyed the service and the attention. refreshments, sandwiches, drinks and fruit. We saw a pod of dolphins and they were around us for about 29 min. They are great to see underwater in one of 2 chambers with windows.
The marina is very easy to find and parking is free. The boat is easy to find too and we were greeted with our tickets printed out. There is a toilet and a restaurant/cafe at the marina two and toilets on board..
Please bring with you some cash to tip the crew, they are really good.

Very disappointing. The boat is very small and moves a lot, so many people got sea sick and vomited in the trip. Not enough seats for the people, they expect us to mingle with other people or just stand up. And worst of all, we saw 8 dolphins at most! Avoid

What a fun trip! I definetely recommend this tour. First we have seen the beautiful coast with the "Cueva bonita". You could even hop on a banana boat in between. The staff was super friendly. They explained well all sights (in English and Spanish) and gave some information about the animals. We saw a turtle, dolphin families and many pilot wales. Best part was that you could go below and watch through a submarine window. There I saw the dolphins really close. Amazing!
You get refreshments and food on board for free. For me it was a great cruise. Nevertheless, as it is a smaller boat, there is a risk to get seasick. Be careful with little kids.

Had a wonderful time at sea starting with a problem free pick-up near my hotel for transfer to Puerto Tazacourte. Boat felt clean, staff was friendly and we were offered both, fruit, sandwiches and drinks. But the best was of course that we saw both whales and dolphins. It was amazing sitting in their underwater room watching the animals swimming beside us under water. Recommend!

We did this in November 2019. A great tour along the coastline and caves before turning out towards the Atlantic Ocean. The crew spoke multiple languages and gave us information about the various sights along the way.
They tow a Banana boat along and at a point in the tour they ask if anyone would like to ride on it, or get in the water for a swim.
Like any wild animal tour it’s down to the animals to appear. After a couple of hours it was starting to look like we might not get to see anything. The Crew worked constantly, looking out through their binoculars. Just as the sun was starting to set they spotted a Pod of Dolphins and sailed us straight to them.
The whole time the Crew were offering us food and drinks. Sandwiches, Cookies and Fruit. There was a fruit bowl downstairs to help yourself. As the Sun dropped the Crew also handed us some blankets to keeps us warm until we arrived back to the port.
We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it. We were lucky in that there were only around 15 people on the boat, it was the second tour of the day (15:30)

The Fancy leaflets that we kept on finding attached to our hire car made us curious and we decided to give it a shot. We booked the Northern Route on the Fancy II online and received an email confirmation pretty quickly. You can pay online or at the Fancy booth in the habour of Tazacorte before the tour.
The crew was absolutely sweet and made every effort to make all guests feel comfortable and happy. Apart from Spanish, they are fluent in in at least English, French, German and Italian and communicate to the guests in the preferred language.
The first highlight was driving slowly into the Cueva Bonita, a sea cave formed by volcanic rock that is nicknamed the sistine chapel of the canary islands because of changing colours in the afternoon. The grotto can only be accessed when the sea is calm.
Next stop was Poris de Candelaria to view the beautiful houses in caves of Tijarafe. The anchor was then dropped close to Playa de la Veta and we were told that it's swimming time and for those who dared to go for a ride on the banana boat.Life jackets were provided. Don't miss it,it's absolute fun and will put a smile on your face. Kids go separate on a slower ride.
After the swimming break the boat went out into sea to look for whales and we were extremely lucky to see dense beaked whales and bottlenose dolphins. It was an amazing experience to watch these mysterious and beautiful creatures in their natural habitat,
Of course, there is no guarantee that whales and dolphins are seen but the captain and crew are doing their best to make it happen.
During the trip we were offered cake, fruit, biscuits, sandwiches and soft drinks. Beer, rum and coffee can be purchased on-board. A toilet is also available.
An unforgettable afternoon on sea and a good value for money.
