What a nice experience! Stefano, the instructor is really a profesional and you feel safe with him. Such a uniek and amazing experience!

We dived with Delphinus Diving School in Puerto de Mogan with a group of 20 divers from our LIFRAS (CMAS) diving club H2O DS from Belgium, to discover dive sites in Gran Canaria in the last week of October 2024 for 6 days, 2 dives a day. The group was diverse : from beginners with some 15 dives to experienced instructors. We made great dives, and had a lot of fun, discovering wrecks, fish and animals in the warm waters of Gran Canaria. We also made shore dives and a night dive. The whole team of Delphinus Diving School is really kind and attentive, making sure that everyone enjoy the dives. Thanks Martha, Michal, David and Greg! Special kudos for the night dive in the house reef : the old port of Puerto de Mogan : it was magical! :-) Just one thing : next time, we'll try to have a hotel in Puerto de Mogan, and not in Taurito : the direct road between the 2 sites is closed, making the ride much more longer ;-) But it's part of the adventure :-) See you all soon! What can I say? I went and took part in the Open Water Diver course and from the moment we were picked up from our hotel, I just got a really great feeling about this company. I was nervous to say the least but all the way through the course I was given time and reassurance that gave me the confidence to complete and pass the course. I would highly recommend this centre for anyone who is wanting to learn the basics of diving, snorkelling or indeed jump into the open water course. A special mention to David, who was our instructor for the course, extremely knowledgeable, kind and very very very patient with me. Also Sarah who was a calming influence on me and Greg for helping out on the second day. Highly recommend this centre and cannot thank all involved for making this a memorable experience and most of all giving me the skills to take forward in my own diving exploits.

Me and my wife used this school to complete our open water diver course. We did three days with David our instructor assisted by Greg and Sara, they took two complete novices and helped them pass the course gave us confidence to progress advised on future ventures and were great professional instructors who made us feel at ease. I really enjoyed my course and will go back in the future for my courses or pleasure dives a great team who speak multiple languages fluently with lots of diving experience.

A brilliant introduction to diving. We had never gone diving before and so opted for the shorter diving session rather than a day course. We arrived and got checked in and fitted for wetsuits and equipment very easily. Our trainer Sarah was excellent and super friendly! We got a familiarisation period in the hotel pool on how to use the equipment before before heading out into the open water. We saw a huge variety of fish and definitely recommend you bring a banana to feed to them.

Great experience! First time snorkeling and our instructor Paula talked us through exactly where we would be going beforehand and explained everything step by step. We saw a wide variety of interesting and colourful fish and really enjoyed it! I was able to snorkel with my contact lenses in and my husband who wears glasses was given a special magnifying lens for his mask and so it was perfect for us both! Highly recommend!😃

Wow! What an experience! Firstly thank you to our diving instructor everything was explained brilliantly and in detail to make sure we were safe. The water was lovely and the fish! Wow the colours and there was so many! Bring a banana the fish love them!!! Also bring some money as youll need to buy a mouth piece €4 each. But it was an amazing experience and has made us want to get certified in scuba diving

Highly recommend the 8-9 year old scuba lesson. My daughter had a blast and the company is well organized and is very engaging / good energy - great fun for kids .

Good points: Friendly, helpful instructor and staff, enjoyed seeing the beautiful fish, good medical/risk form, transport to and from hotel. Bad points: I asked when I got in the bus why everyone hasn't got seatbelts on and no one still put seatbelts on. Even if I had my seatbelt on everyone could fall on me and hurt me if they weren't wearing a seatbelt. What if there was a kid or pregnant person on board.? Also the place where we got out of the water as in rise from the deep end was dangerous because it was a place where people dived into the sea and we could have got jumped on. Lastly, I hate smoking and I don't think staff should do that in front of customers. If it wasn't for these 3 issues I would give 5 stars. I will delete this if I get the right response.

Fantastic first scuba dive for myself and my two boys (13 & 11). Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and all spoke excellent English. We watched a film to familiarise ourselves with the equipment and basic safety, then got kitted out with wetsuits for the 5 minute walk down to the beach. There was a short wait in the sea whilst the instructors finished off the previous session (it was fun floating about in our wetsuits 🙂), then we got fitted with our tanks, flippers, and masks, and were led out to the mouth of the harbour. We had two instructors between the three of us, and the boys went down to between one and two meters (because of their ages), and my instructor took me down to 5m. It was like swimming in a tropical fish tank! We would absolutely recommend Delphinus to anyone considering scuba for the first time, and we can’t wait to take the next step onto a full dive course!

We did enjoy our snorkelling over all, but as complete beginners it would have been nice to spend more time getting us use to the equipment before heading out to sea. As a result of this my husband didn’t feel confident enough to continue to the snorkelling spot just outside the protected harbour. This was such a shame as it really did spoil the day out for us and for a few extra minutes tuition, this could have been solved. Lovely team of guides and the fish that my son and I saw were amazing. Just to add that my husband was not the only one in our group of eight that couldn’t do the snorkelling, another lady didn’t feel comfortable to snorkel after the tuition either.

Staff were super friendly, very thorough and really helpful! Hotel pick up/drop off was really helpful! They accommodated perfectly for me, due to my shortsightedness managed to find corrective lenses for my mask which only enhanced my experience. Bought photos as well - definitely recommend doing so! My first open water dive - although I was a little nervous, staff were very patient and super supportive/understanding. Would go again and recommend very highly!

I have booked a boat tour with snorkling with Delphinus for May 8. Shortly before the tour I was contacted to re-schedule this to May 10 because of “potential strong waves”. I agreed and had my day’s plans ruined. On May 10, I was picked up with other people and we all spent 1-2h on a minivan to reach Delphinus diving school. After we arrived, we were informed the boat had some engine issues and we were offered two options: 1) do 1h diving from the beach with no boat tour and have “free time” on the beach after or 2) pay extra money to do the diving course because they “are a diving school after all”. I asked for a refund and was sent away. Second day’s plans were ruined and time hugely wasted. I did not expect last minute cancellation like this, I think they must have had a respect for people’ time to at least inform them before the pick up. I do not for a second believe that the boat was only checked 5min before departure. Strongly do not recommend this school, they look a scam. Not coming back even if you pay me.

I did two dives and cancelled one snorkeling dive. The divemaster and the equipment were good.. However, they kept us waiting for two hours at lunchtime with a fully equipped nine years old kid without any explanation. In the end we had to cancel the snorkel and deal with a hungry and disappointed child

My two boys aged 12 and 10 did the introductory scuba dive. The safety briefing was on a video screen and seemed comprehensive. What I hadn’t realised was that the subsequent dive was just my two boys with their individual instructors, so effectively a one to one dive experience. My eldest was confident from the off and he had a great experience, feeding fish and he said there was lots to see underwater. My youngest was unsure at times but with the support of his instructor he too had a dive. Both instructors could not have been more supportive and helpful. As a parent watching their first dive experience I felt very reassured and impressed with the whole set up. We opted to pay for their underwater photos and were not disappointed. We got lots of photos and they were of really good quality. We’ll be back next year!
