#21 of 46 Boat Tours & Water Sports in Puerto Del Carmen
- Ross S00Boat circle tripWas just a boat trip that went round in a circle, didn’t see any interesting scenery. There was also no sunset or dolphins. Should probably call it something else. Time got changed from 6:30 to 5:10. No directions on where to go if you never got picked up. Wasn’t given the option to be picked up either but my hotel was called on the boat. Didn’t end up leaving till 6ish so it messed with timings of things.
- Oldcavgeezer00don't recommend this boat tripthe coach was 30 minutes late for pick up, picked up the tour guide after 40 minutes into the coach journey, at the port to get the ferry to catch the boat we waited for 1 hour 30, where there was no facilities, no open cafe or bar, no where to get a drink and limited shade from the sun. The boat trip was around the headland the crew then dropped anchor and we were given around 2 hours to play, visit the beach, watch the crew eat chicken and chips while we waited for pasta with tomato sauce with a side salad of leaves and a banana for desert - over all we had less than a four trip. JUST AWFUL. NEVER AGAIN. I have done the Catlanza before, this trip does not even come close.
- J459YZjanl00Enjoyable day outHad a really enjoyable day on this trip. Originally thought it was a little expensive but the drinks and food were truly unlimited and the paella was delicious. We were picked up from our hotel on a very nice bus and the whole thing felt very organised. The crew were great although the loud speaker was a little difficult to hear. I didn't see any snorkels available so take your own. The boat didn't have too many people on and felt just right. Having been on other boat trips which were overcrowded, this one was a pleasure. Definitely recommend this trip.
- scottwJ6753XK00Too expensiveVery expensive for what you get.No welcome drink as advertised gave us a cup and told to get a seat.We then had to get own drink from bar and food which was very awkward while at sea.Should only advertise as a boat trip and was 96 euros for two should cut that in half!!! Not very well organised at all.Won’t be wasting my time and money on this when I return.😞
- 795barryl00A very agreeable experienceAs we were staying on the waterfront opposite the terminal, we decided to take a day trip from Playa Blanca to Corralejo on a Sunday, leaving in the morning and returning late afternoon. All the staff onboard and at the ticket office in the harbour were friendly and helpful, including a particularly friendly lady who was always smiling and engaging. The boat both ways left exactly on time and arrived again at the scheduled time. The seating on deck was our choice both ways and there was plenty of room for my wife and me. We only passed through the lower deck inside seating, but it was all clean and tidy and there looked to be a well stocked bar with drinks and snacks. My wife is not the best sailor, but said she felt very comfortable with the outside seating and smaller boat than the other larger ferry options. If we go again, the Fast Ferry will be our obvious choice.
- DonnaP59000Great day outLovely day out, gòod food and drinks welcoming crew. Definitely would recommend this even with small children, they supply life vests, our 2yr old grandson had a brilliant day
- F7343LNdenism00A lovely AfternoonWell worth it, beautiful views, lots of water based activities and a relaxed atmosphere. Open bar, the food was basic but welcome. Recommended!
- L1130CLpeterd00Fun, exciting dolphin encounterGreat fun. Enthusiastic crew. Very exciting when we encountered a pod of dolphins including youngsters. The water was quite choppy but it all adds to the excitement. We would recommend
- Ian R00Excellent trip, very enjoyable4 adults went on this trip 12 September and we all had a great relaxing trip. The catamaran was big and there were plenty of places to sit. We moored in the beach bay and went swimming and snorkeling. 5 kayaks were also available to use along with life jackets. They made a fresh paella, which was one of the best I'd had, or a pasta alternative, followed by fruit. There was a free drinks bar all trip which included draft beer, sangria, mojitos or soft drinks. All in all I think it was a great trip, there was also free collection and drop off too by a coach too, if needed. Do I recommend this trip, yes. Would I do it again, yes. Was it value for money at €60 each, yes.
- em18200000Disappointment turned into a great trip in the endSlight disappointment when first boarding the boat, not quite what we expected, the boat felt very cramped and had a lot more people on than expected and not much commentary as described but overall was an amazing trip and we got to see dolphins which completed it! Food was lovely and got to see some great views
- kevin04100Great little tripHow can you not like this ! Good service with good time table , porto calero lovely spot, had lunch , bought a few boats ( !) Enjoyed the small market ( tuesday ) returned to PDC, boat stable throughout trip .
- lucyr34200Great Sunset CruiseAbsolutely fantastic boat cruise. Well organised. Boarded efficiently and disembarked efficiently. We were lucky to experience beautiful sunset and saw a few dolphins in the distance. Only criticism I had was the food served was not good. But, we were not there for the food.
- Tim_m_ac100Outstanding day out hosted by an exceptional, fun & professional crew!An outstanding day out on a catamaran. A short trip across to the island to La Graciosa arriving into the main and only populated area of the island. After a short stop (time for a quick walk & a coffee in one of the local tourist cafe‘s) you‘ll be back aboard for the remainder of the day. There is a shuttle service that would have picked us up from Playa Blanc, but we had a hire car and opted to drive to Orzola rather than spend 2 + hrs on a coach. The drive took a little more than an hour and was very scenic. Plenty of parking. The boat is clean, well presented and hosted by excellent, polite & friendly staff. Lunch - sea food Paella was exception, my partner has a shell fish allergy. There was a substitute tomato pasta. In our opinion, this could be improved significantly just with the addition of some vegetables. Either way it wasn’t offensive and more than acceptable. Drinks - These are plentyful. You wont go thirsty, but you might go home drunk! Whops! Many people flocked to the beach when we anchored down just off the island. We opted to stay on the boat, enjoy the quite time and swim in the sea. Whatever you chose to do, im sure you will have a great time. A faultless and highly enjoyable day which we would highly recommend.
- siobhanr93800Day tripping to CaleroGreat short trip on glass bottom ferry to Peurto Calero, lovely places to eat and shops for souvenirs
- anitasZ5310QN00La Graciousa TourApart from the nearly 1 hour stop at the town on the island of La Graciousa, the tour offered by Lineas Romero was quite good. Andreas really made an effort as did most of the other staff to make it a memorable tour.

Jan 2022 • Friends
We were highly disappointed with the trip for the following reasons:
Bus journey
The trip involved essentially spending 90% of the day on a tour bus. Whilst it is understandable that the locations are far apart, it might be useful to point out in the description that you will be spending your entire day on a bus.
Wine tasting
The tour is labelled as a wine tasting tour and we were given what can only be described as a thimble. If an experience is going to label itself as a wine tasting, one would presume that each person would be entitled to at least a couple of samples rather than a thimble full.
Separately, we were advised that there was a tapas bar where we could have lunch at this location. It is surprising that the tour bus chooses to stop somewhere that only has 4 tables when the capacity of the bus is presumably around 50 people. When we got off the bus to grab lunch the situation can only be described as mayhem. There was people everywhere, no social distancing, nowhere for anyone to sit and the tapas bar itself can at best be described as the Spanish version of a greasy spoon. Surely it would be more useful to stop at a location that has capacity to hold the full coach instead of about 1/8 of it.
We were told we could bring a picnic but when you are not permitted to eat on the bus it is not clear to me where one would have been able to to eat such a meal. It would have surely been better to support the local economy by stopping at the town where there was a variety of eating options.
Aloe Vera museum
The stop at the aloe Vera museum was a colossal waste of time and was more of a pathetic sales pitch than anything else. My partner had itchy skin after using the sample. I also think that the fact the plant is toxic to some animals including cats should have been pointed out.
Value for money
In addition it is not clear to me exactly what the £45 was for, given that the ferry is €18 return and entry to every single one of the attractions was free. Not even a meal was included and the only beverage on offer was a thimble full of wine.
I would not recommend this trip to anyone as it was a total waste of money. We did not see much of what Lanzarote had to offer and on that basis we would not be inclined to return. This is not a criticism of the tour guide, this is a criticism of poor advertising as the description is completely misleading.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
The tour covers the main attractions in the south of Lanzarote.
It is quite a small island and the distances are not very long, so it is quite surprising to us that the time spent on the bus turned out to be so tiring.
We are still in a pandemic. Lanzarote is in Phase 3 and all public utilities are bound by local authority guidelines. It does not depend on us how many tables may be outside the restaurant. We have to adapt to the requirements. On the route there is a restaurant to which we take our customers, situated in a unique vineyard zone, with a wide selection of various dishes for all budgets.
Our customers have the opportunity to experience wine tasting to taste the award-winning Lanzarote wine in one of the best vineyards on the island (see our tour description). If you've been looking for a wine tasting from a wide variety of wines, this is a different tour that only focuses on this experience and lasts much longer.
The Aloe Vera Museum is an important point on the tour, during this visit, the customer has the opportunity to purchase a local product, we understand that you have a different point of view.
We're sorry you didn't like this activity. We think the tour is complete and the price quite competitive considering: shuttle bus to both islands, ferry transport, professional licensed guide and entrances to the main attractions in the south of Lanzarote.

Finding the boat was difficult due to really unclear instructions. The tickets did not provide clear instructions as to where to go. Furthermore, the google map co-ordinates provided were wrong. When we found the boat, a crew member checked our e-tickets and incorrectly sent us away to the ticket office rather than his colleague with a clipboard next to the boat. This whole process was poorly managed and resulted in unnecessary rushing about.
The boat ride and bus ride were all pleasantly fine. The stop at the restaurant/vine yard was chaotic and we spent the majority of our time waiting in a line to get food, rather than enjoying ourselves and the environment.
The bus trip around the volcano was fantastic and the aloe Vera museum was a nice little stop too.

The stop at the "Aloe Museum" is only a sales show. The stop at the Winery for a wine tasting was a joke. For tasting you could choose between 5 cl dry white wine, or 5 cl sweat wine; this is no tasting, this ridiculous! If you like to have a taste of this realy not bad wines, you have to buy a glass.
On the other side of the street is another winery; there you can taste everything, paying 1€ for a glass, that could be called a glass.
The last stop at the Coast is also useless. You stop there for a few minutes without a chance to do something nice.
The realy nice part of the tour is the trip with the bus thruogh the lava Mountains. This is spectacular. The should concentrate on this and maybe one stop whre you can have some time on a beach.

A great tour of the island and volcanic area, the vineyard offered the choice of 1 wine (of 2) to taste without much of a tour but the stop also included lunch so was able to try other wines in the time.
The Aloe Vera musuem was more of a chance to sell the product but very brief. The green lagoon was stunning and well worth the trip.

Everything! From our wonderful guide, Ellen, to every minute of this fantastic day trip encompassing the Aloe Vera museum, the vineyard, Timanfaya national park, (volcanoes) and the green lagoon.
For €55 per person, this trip represents excellent value for money and is one for the best excursions my wife and I have partaken in over thirty years of travel.

There are good and bad points to this trip. Overall it was enjoyable. The high points were the ferry to Lanzarote and the coach trip around the summit of one volcano. (Coaches have priority over private cars entering the national park and this alone probably makes the trip worthwhile.)
The 'wine tasting' is really a bit of a con. As I had read reviews before the trip I wasn't expecting much and this proved to be the case. You get a taste of one wine - maybe 10cl, if that. Treat it as an opportunity to shop and you won't be disappointed. Ditto the Aloe Vera museum; it's really just a shop.
The volcano and lava fields were amazing, Lanzarote must have been a hell on earth in the 1830s.

Hi Colin, thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear that concerning the wine taste, but for this Volcan Express tour, we colaborate with other local partners that manage their own services.
In spite of that, we hope you had a great time with us.
Have a wonderful day,
LÃneas Romero.

A great little tour very professionally curated by our guide and superbly driven by our coach driver.
Some great views and stops, but the highlight has to be the gift shop at the winery stop. Every kind of tat possible is available, some so tacky even Delboy and Rodney wouldn't have it in their garage.
Overall a very pleasant way to spend a day on holiday.

View from bus was obstructed (see pic). Guide did try to change the seat but the remaining seats were just as bad. Also time at the visitor centre was far too short. Would have been nice to have some more time for pics and WC. Feel tour would be better avoiding the vineyard and focusing on the volcano aspects

Absolutely amazing trip. Yes you are travelling for a while but well worth it. The views are stunning, the guide very informative and the wine tastes lovely. You have to wear a mask but only on the coach as these are Spanish rules, deal with it. We took sandwiches but at the winery there is chance to buy lunch.
