- HeatherM3920 contributionsGreat day outThoroughly enjoyed this trip, our guide was knowledgeable and good company. The stops were great, plenty of time for a good look round. Lunch on the boat was good as was the sangria! Would definitely recommend this trip, great day outWritten January 22, 2025
- mary e0 contributionsTaxi boat a must.5 out 5. Great value for money. Timetable for boat spit on. Views amazing and staff helpful. Definitely recommend as puetto calero lovely small village, worth visit and taxi boat something different.Written January 20, 2025
- 246cl20170 contributionsGreat little tripHandy taxi between calero and carmen. Highly recommend using it! Something different to get from A to B. I walked from calero to carmen then got the water taxi back. Just something fun to doWritten January 19, 2025
- Matthew C0 contributionsWould recommend, good value, fun experience.Very friendly staff, good value for money, great experience. The open bar was a great inclusion, the food served was very filling and delicious, plenty of shrimp and meat. Fresh fruit as well for desert and snacks upon arrival.Written January 19, 2025
- scotty8660 contributionsGood tripSpend a lovely half an hour on this, friendly staff and good fun if I little choppy but it is January. Walked to Calero spent time in the port lovely and quaint and used this back. Can pay cash or card on water bus. Shame it was half empty, would definitely use againWritten January 16, 2025
- newvillefan0 contributionsOutstanding - a must do in Lanzarote! This day was unreal - I was picked up from my hotel, taken to the port and onto the boat for what was an unforgettable day. The staff are superb, the catamaran is amazing and for one day you really feel like a millionaire on your own yacht. The trip included a stop at the Graciosa island as well time in the sea to try kayaking and swimming. Food and unlimited drinks are included in the price. I did this on my own and met some lovely people. For the price it was worth every penny. I'd do it again without hesitation. Five stars!Written January 10, 2025
- pauljuliekelly0 contributionsGood value easy way to get to the islandHotel pick up. Smooth journey. Good value. Not much to do on the island so plan an excursion in advance. Roads very very bumpy so cycling difficult. Jeep tour probably the best.Written January 9, 2025
- alangV234KQ0 contributionsI'm on a Boat!Nice boat. Really good length of day. Extremely good value for money including transfers, food and drinks. Friendly crew. One of the very best paellas I've ever tasted made fresh in front of us. Massively generous portion served. The alternative for those who didn't fancy paella was pasta and tomato sauce. Well balanced trip with chance to get off boat twice to visit nice wee village and lovely beach. They wait until everyone's off the boat at the first stop before giving the introductory spiel, which makes sense. Bar doesn't open until after the first stop, so the beginning of the trip felt a little uncertain like everyone was waiting to know what was going to happen. In contrast by the time we got off at the end most people had a right good glow about them and seemed proper happy and content.Written January 7, 2025
- gizzycatCumbria0 contributionsI love pappagoyo catermeran tripWe booked this through travelOn. We paid 139 euros for two people. The boat sets off from peorto del Carmen, which is approximately 1 hour drive from plays blanca. We had to go to another hotel to be picked up. About 10 min walk. We stayed at Sandos Atlantic gardens. The day was quite windy and the sea was very choppy but the boat set off. The waves were very high and it was recommended to us that we sit inside. It was about 1 hour to a small cove where the boat anchored and said we could have a swim. The kayaks were not available because of the high wind and sea. Only a few people went for a swim as it was far too cold and very rough. This trip should have been cancelled because of this. The food was half cooked paella which was very strong tasting of sea food. The veggie option was pasta with a very light sauce. And a piece of bread. Drinks were free but if you don't drink then it's not worth it. No tea or coffee available neither for such a cold day. A punch had been made and people were drinking that. Over all a rubbish trip and not worth the money. Because of the high waves and rough sea approx 6 out of the 30 or so people were sea sick on the way back. Couldn't wait to get back to the harbour. Waste of moneyWritten December 25, 2024
- Squarebear990 contributionsOnly if it's calm! We'd previously walked between Calero and Carmen but felt we should give the water taxi a go. It seemed expensive (€18 return) for such a short journey but hey, you only live once. The crew were great. The boat was clean. It was also deserted apart from us two passengers. This was the first giveaway that all was not well. The second giveaway was when our water taxi left the safety of Calero harbour and felt the full force of an angry ocean. It was a rough journey. I thought it was brilliant but my poor wife found it utterly wretched. If you've left your sea legs at home remember this is nothing like sailing on the Med. We opted to walk the return journey.Written December 14, 2024

We did have a wonderful day, especially visiting the timanfaya national park. This part of the tour, although stunning, is very rushed. At no point are you able to get off the coach until you reach the top. I appreciate very much that the landscape does not allow for this but it is honestly one of the most otherworldly places I have ever seen and it would have been nice to be able to absorb it a bit more.
At the scheduled stop there is a restaurant and gift shop along with fantastic displays of the volcano’s heat. There is no time to enjoy the facilities as we were quickly herded back into the coach. Infact there was really no time to even take photos at the stop as we were told to get back on the bus. Again I appreciate that the tours have tight schedules but it was a bit abrupt.
The wine tasting is a tiny shot of your choice of either white wine or desert (sweet wine) . There is no display of how they make the wine or a tour of the vines/casks, although our guide did talk about it on the bus. After this 5 min “tour” we had an hour to wait before leaving this stop for the next one. Time that would have been much better spent at the timanfaya national park in my opinion.
I would definitely recommend the volcano trip and our guide Eva was really good. Without sounding too much like I’m repeating myself, I appreciate they’re on a tight schedule but it’s a shame that it’s all very rushed.

Thank you for your feedback and we are happy to hear you enjoyed the trip. As you mentioned we are on a "tight" schedule as we want to show you as much as possible of the south of Lanzarote on this daytrip. We try to split the time as well as we can between the stops as all clients have their preferences.

If you're booking to primarily see the volcanoes, this trip is great! You get taken around winding roads, touring the area with great views.
The stop at the volcano is very short with not much opportunity to get many photos. The bus does not stop again, so any further photos have to be taken from inside the bus through the windows, which means it is even more difficult to get photos with the reflections in the glass, but it is doable.
The other stops are where this tour doesn't do well. You are rushed off & on the bus with very little time to take in the views.
The aloe vera museum is very small, more of a way for them to promote their products in their shop.
You are then taken to a restaurant next door that charges 15 euros for a buffet. I would stay away from this!! The staff took our payments while we were eating rather than before or after. All the food was stone cold & very cheap, and the dessert counter had nothing on it. There were only 2 desserts kept in a fridge at the back of the place that wasn't great either. They served one bottle of rosé per table, which was included in the price; however, they decided to sit others at our table even though there were plenty of other free tables. This meant we had less drink included in the price. All the glasses were dirty. Not worth 15 euros at all!!
I would recommend taking your own packed lunch! You can't eat or take drinks on the bus, so make sure you eat on this stop, as the other stops are quite short.
The wine tasting wasn't great either. Wine “tasting” was half a shot of wine. There is also a small gift shop at this stop.
Overall, the experience was ok. Only go if you want to see the volcanoes, as the other stops aren't great!

Dear Eeeeben, in this tour you can visit many places in 5 hours, that is why stops can´t be very long.
The main atraction is the Timanfaya volcanoes park but you have the oportunity to go to El Golfo, La geria, etc.
The food is optional and we recomended to bring your own food.
All this information is on the tour description you must read before the activity.
Thank you for your comments.
Best regards.

This was a great trip to go on . It was well organised. The fast ferry lasted only 30 mins, the trip to El golfo and the volcanoes were awesome and informative. Don’t travel to the fire mountain in a hire car. You will queue for hours to get to the summit station . I advise you to go on a bus trip. The lava fields felt like you were in another world. Lunch was in a road side cafe next to the wine tasting . It was tapas and sandwiches. Make sure you have a big breakfast as you will not eat until 1400. Once you have been given a talk on the aloe Vera take a walk around the museum and learn a lot more about it. On the return journey dolphins were spotted so the captain turned the boat around to allow them to catch us up.
The only downside was arriving to be informed we needed ID which meant a manic sprint back to the hotel to find out they weren’t needed. I would advise you to take photos of your passport and one of you carry a driving license.

Jan 2022 • Friends
We were highly disappointed with the trip for the following reasons:
Bus journey
The trip involved essentially spending 90% of the day on a tour bus. Whilst it is understandable that the locations are far apart, it might be useful to point out in the description that you will be spending your entire day on a bus.
Wine tasting
The tour is labelled as a wine tasting tour and we were given what can only be described as a thimble. If an experience is going to label itself as a wine tasting, one would presume that each person would be entitled to at least a couple of samples rather than a thimble full.
Separately, we were advised that there was a tapas bar where we could have lunch at this location. It is surprising that the tour bus chooses to stop somewhere that only has 4 tables when the capacity of the bus is presumably around 50 people. When we got off the bus to grab lunch the situation can only be described as mayhem. There was people everywhere, no social distancing, nowhere for anyone to sit and the tapas bar itself can at best be described as the Spanish version of a greasy spoon. Surely it would be more useful to stop at a location that has capacity to hold the full coach instead of about 1/8 of it.
We were told we could bring a picnic but when you are not permitted to eat on the bus it is not clear to me where one would have been able to to eat such a meal. It would have surely been better to support the local economy by stopping at the town where there was a variety of eating options.
Aloe Vera museum
The stop at the aloe Vera museum was a colossal waste of time and was more of a pathetic sales pitch than anything else. My partner had itchy skin after using the sample. I also think that the fact the plant is toxic to some animals including cats should have been pointed out.
Value for money
In addition it is not clear to me exactly what the £45 was for, given that the ferry is €18 return and entry to every single one of the attractions was free. Not even a meal was included and the only beverage on offer was a thimble full of wine.
I would not recommend this trip to anyone as it was a total waste of money. We did not see much of what Lanzarote had to offer and on that basis we would not be inclined to return. This is not a criticism of the tour guide, this is a criticism of poor advertising as the description is completely misleading.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
The tour covers the main attractions in the south of Lanzarote.
It is quite a small island and the distances are not very long, so it is quite surprising to us that the time spent on the bus turned out to be so tiring.
We are still in a pandemic. Lanzarote is in Phase 3 and all public utilities are bound by local authority guidelines. It does not depend on us how many tables may be outside the restaurant. We have to adapt to the requirements. On the route there is a restaurant to which we take our customers, situated in a unique vineyard zone, with a wide selection of various dishes for all budgets.
Our customers have the opportunity to experience wine tasting to taste the award-winning Lanzarote wine in one of the best vineyards on the island (see our tour description). If you've been looking for a wine tasting from a wide variety of wines, this is a different tour that only focuses on this experience and lasts much longer.
The Aloe Vera Museum is an important point on the tour, during this visit, the customer has the opportunity to purchase a local product, we understand that you have a different point of view.
We're sorry you didn't like this activity. We think the tour is complete and the price quite competitive considering: shuttle bus to both islands, ferry transport, professional licensed guide and entrances to the main attractions in the south of Lanzarote.

A race against time. The only part of the tour that is worth the payment of the required amount, is the visit to the Timanfaya park, too bad that the stop lasts just long enough to pee, so you have to choose: look at the park or go to the bathroom. The Italian Guide, Daniela, speaks so fast that it seems to be a university lesson, if you can take home two words out of 10 you are lucky, as well as practically absent empathy.
The aloe museum is not a museum but a shop. If there is a museum there is no visit and the explanation about aloe can be summed up in : aloe is good for everything ... without any explanation about the origin and link of the plant with the island. Wine tasting cannot be defined as such: everyone in line for a drink of something alcoholic on which no one deigns to give explanations.
The green lake is worth seeing just to realize how much it was not worth it.

Ferry across great...arrival at Lanzarote was chaos, we were firstly directed to the English speaking tour , there were too many people so squeezed on the Spanish/Italian coach. We were unable to sit together and split up around the coach . The guide did her best, but by the time she explained what was happening in English, we had often passed what it was. As previous comments, the wine tasting was pointless, a small plastic shot glass of some of the worst wine I've tasted. However, the good...the volcano tour was amazing, and the aloe vera talk and museum was very interesting

Finding the boat was difficult due to really unclear instructions. The tickets did not provide clear instructions as to where to go. Furthermore, the google map co-ordinates provided were wrong. When we found the boat, a crew member checked our e-tickets and incorrectly sent us away to the ticket office rather than his colleague with a clipboard next to the boat. This whole process was poorly managed and resulted in unnecessary rushing about.
The boat ride and bus ride were all pleasantly fine. The stop at the restaurant/vine yard was chaotic and we spent the majority of our time waiting in a line to get food, rather than enjoying ourselves and the environment.
The bus trip around the volcano was fantastic and the aloe Vera museum was a nice little stop too.

We throughly enjoyed this tour from start to finish it was a great day out and well worth the money. The volcano part of the tour was absolutely amazing and stunning it was great to learn so much about volcanoes! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. The driver was great driving around the very high and narrow roads. There’s a stop at a restaurant which has a buffet for 15 euros or you can bring your own lunch. A stop at an aloe Vera museum and shop and also a stop at a vineyard. There’s plenty of time at all the stops to see everything. It was a great experience I’d completely recommend it.

The stop at the "Aloe Museum" is only a sales show. The stop at the Winery for a wine tasting was a joke. For tasting you could choose between 5 cl dry white wine, or 5 cl sweat wine; this is no tasting, this ridiculous! If you like to have a taste of this realy not bad wines, you have to buy a glass.
On the other side of the street is another winery; there you can taste everything, paying 1€ for a glass, that could be called a glass.
The last stop at the Coast is also useless. You stop there for a few minutes without a chance to do something nice.
The realy nice part of the tour is the trip with the bus thruogh the lava Mountains. This is spectacular. The should concentrate on this and maybe one stop whre you can have some time on a beach.

The realy nice part of the tour is the trip with the bus thruogh the lava Mountains. This is spectacular. The should concentrate on this and maybe one stop whre you can have some time on a beach.

One-day excursion to the island of Lanzatore, with tours in the Timanfaya Volcano National Park. Departures are scheduled on set days so if you decide you need to book in advance. I booked at the BarracudaFuerteventura agency in Corralejo. Departure on Saturday from the pier, crossing of about 35 minutes. Upon arrival, a very good Italian guide Laura led the group of Italians and Spaniards to discover this land, explaining in an exhaustive manner what we were seeing.
Highly recommended tour and congratulations to Laura!
