About
Unforgettable route through the island of Majorca. You will be able to enjoy the Sierra de Tramuntana and its artificial lakes, declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Our route continues along the serpentine road of La Calobra, considered one of the most extraordinary roads from the engineering point of view.
Once in La Calobra, you can be dazzled by its majestic cliffs and crystal clear waters. In the same port of La Calobra, we will board a boat and follow the route along the coast until we reach Port de Sóller, the largest natural port in the Sierra de Tramuntana, and with a unique setting between mountains.
In the port itself, we boarded a hundred-year-old tram to enjoy a pleasant ride to the town of Sóller, a few kilometers from the port. Sóller is considered one of the most beautiful in Spain. From the same town we will get on a vintage train to return to Palma, taking a pleasant walk along the old tracks where you will go back in time.

- jeremywQ1811BA0 contributionsLmon.tours palma nova sales office petraI have seen a few negative reviews with lmon.tours, I have to disagree I booked 6 trips with this company with sales assistant petra. The marineland is a must for all ages We never had any problems with them The lady in the palma nova office was very helpful, jolly & helpful Petra advised us which trips would not be suitable for us due to bad arthritis in both knees She is a lovely lady & I found very friendly & helpful I would rate lmon.tours 5 stars Thanks petra, you helped us have a great time on our holidayWritten October 26, 2024
- sarahdL2725TB0 contributionsStressful day with an uncomfortable atmosphereI was really looking forward to this trip but it was really quite awful. We booked through our hotel and they gave us the impression it was a return trip on the train and tram - fair enough, we could have checked but we didn’t actually get the name of the company until after we had booked. The tour was advertised as 1.15 -7pm. We were the first stop for the coach and as we approached a very abrupt woman (Carmen) got off and barked at us to stay there until she went to get the guest list. When she returned she was horrified at my mother’s walking stick and strongly suggested that we wouldn’t be able to keep up. Again, nothing had been said about mobility limitations on what we had expected would be a very gentle trip. We were told we would need to be able to walk for “12 minutes at a NORMAL pace” and that we couldn’t get a taxi. No one had asked for one… It took two and a half hours to pick everyone up and get to Palma where we changed buses in a downpour. Carmen took everyone in one direction to start with and then we all had to go back the way we came to find the correct bus. Everyone was soaked. I’m assuming by this time that we were running late and I think the train may have been held for our group as no-one was allowed to visit the toilets before getting on. The train and tram ride were both lovely but we only had 20 minutes to look around Soller and 45 minutes in Port Soller before the famed “12 minute walk at NORMAL pace” - given that this was back to the coach I don’t know what the rush was. My mum managed it fine but another lady with a walking stick had an asthma attack. There was no commentary or conversation at all from Carmen until the drive home on the coach. She apologised a number of times for the weather but the weather was bearable, it was her attitude that made for a miserable day. Several people were told off by her during the course of our tour! I wish we had gone with our initial plan and made our own arrangements but I absolutely would not recommend this company. The bus driver was lovely!Written October 22, 2024
- Z919AVchrish0 contributionsHopeless if you have mobility issues but great if you don’tHopeless if you have mobility issues. The steps are too high, there is no special area for people with mobility issues to board with help ( like shallower steps or to take time ) and no special boarding zone so you miss getting on the packed trams and have to wait another half an hour to join a fight to get on the next one ( if your going down to the port of Soller )Written October 21, 2024
- mtimes20140 contributionsTake the Bus not the trainSave your money Small jammed Packed train and tram that goes through mostly boring fields We took it one way and then bussed back which is way cheaper , faster and more comfortable Soller and Port Soller are worth the visit but not by this trainWritten October 5, 2024
- cathyl2100 contributionsInformative day with a good lunchAuthentic Majorca Tour - The guide was excellent & ever so informative (Dutch, but giving all the info. in both German & English). Although we've been coming to Mallorca for years, there were things that I had never heard about before. The coffee break (had to pay for our own) at Es Grau was very welcome, although the weather was too awful to visit the viewing point. The journey through the Tramantura mountain range was spectacular (although I think that many of us were feeling a bit queasy by the time we reached Valldemossa). Valldemossa itself was packed, but we did get to see the birth place of Santa Catalina Thomas & go for a swift cervezza. The lunch at Sa Creu was very authentic / tasty - bread with tomato sauce, Spanish 'pizza', amazing dill potatoes, Spanish omelette, cod with almond sauce etc (our guide Jaco, managed to get extras from the kitchen, if your table was running short), but, I'd avoid the Sangria - very weird tasting. The Monastery at Bonany was very interesting & well worth visiting. The visit to the Pearl factory was very informative & the prices (as they are artificial pearls) quite reasonable, my dearly beloved bought me a pair of pearl earrings for under 14Euro. Was the day worth 79Euro - considering all we got was a coach tour, guide, lunch & free entry to several places - not sure if it's worth it for someone on a tight budget, but we enjoyed ourselvesWritten October 2, 2024
- corinao9650 contributionsGood choiceThe bus came on time, clean and confortabile. Antonia was our guide. We visited a market, nice products, cute litle town. The Formedora views are amazing. The bogat tour was nice.Written September 25, 2024
- samanthab100 contributionsCould be betterWe did the half day tour this week, it was a lovely day and we were picked up 20 minutes after time given which was a shame as that 20 minutes would have given us time to get breakfast at the hotel. Anyway our guide was lovely , named Virginia I think, we were mainly English speaking on the bus so she spoke to us on the mic then spoke to the French holiday makers separately. We were taken directly to Puerto de soller and were given 40 mins to grab a coffee and go to the toilet before getting the tram to Soller, we really enjoyed the scenic journey (sit facing front on the right) and the scenery was stunning, again just 40 minutes to explore Soller before getting the train back to Palma. There was a little market on , such a lovely town, the scenery on the train was amazing (both sides in turn) we stood on the footplate between the carriages. All in all I would say do it but I’d have liked a little more time at stops but I will re visit both when next in Majorca.Written September 16, 2024

- debbiet8160 contributionsPort Sóller & SóllerPick up time was 8.20am with instructions to phone if bus was more than 15 mins late …. Phoned after 25 mins to be told it was on its way, arrived 50 mins late, no apology or explanation from the driver. Had at least another 3 pick ups enroute with one couple refusing point blank to get in the bus as it was so late. Arrived in Palma to be told we had to transfer to another bus & the passengers on board had been waiting 40 mins for us. The tour guide Antonia was really lovely & explained everything that was going to happen with very clear instructions. Arrived in Port Sóller after a short walk from the bus, absolutely beautiful part of Mallorca however because we were so late we literally had time (20mins) to go to bathroom & buy a bottle of water before heading back to meeting point for tram to Sóller, this was so disappointing as we would’ve loved to explore the port & sit down for a coffee. Tram was fab, arrived in Sóller & yet again hardly any time to explore this beautiful part of Mallorca, visited the square, walked along one the streets & found a fab bakery, grabbed a takeaway coffee & pastry then back for train to Palma (25mins top). Wooden train takes you through some stunning scenery, 45 mins later arrived outside Palma then back on bus for transfers back to pick up points. This took forever as we were one of the last stops & there were at least 7-8 drop offs. The overall experience was so disappointing, we can’t help but think that because they were running so late it curtailed our time, our advice … do not book this trip with Lemon Tours, not worth the money.Written September 16, 2024
- izzg20240 contributionsDo not trust this company!Travelled as three young girls for the first time on our own, and booked a boat trip with this company at a selected time slot and day. Our boat trip was cancelled whilst we were waiting at the meeting point with no clear reasoning as to why! We were told we could either be refunded or book a trip for another day. As we could not do another day due to other commitments already booked we asked for a refund. We were told this was not possible as they said ‘you can still go on another day’ meaning they didn’t care about our other commitments! So we were completely ripped off as our trip was cancelled and we never got our money back for their error! Do not risk booking with lemon tours!Written September 9, 2024
- P4266HEbellad0 contributionsThis company is a scamThis was possibly the worst customer service experience i’ve ever received. Our original booking was cancelled due to the weather without even informing us. After asking Lemon tours ab this they said we could either return to refund it or rebook on our next available day however due to complications with our return flight we could no longer attend the trip with all of our belongings, passports included. Upon visiting again to claim our refund we were treated with a lack of respect and completely ignored leaving us without our money back. Do not book with this company without doing your research and advisable to pay by card instead as cash as the staff were willing to refund originally if in possession of a card receipt. Would not recommend if you don’t like being scammed!!!Written September 8, 2024
- paradise0650 contributionsHorrible logistics.Horrible bus service. Multiple buses picking up people in the area, and no one there to let you know what bus you are to be on. Very late picking us up. Once tour was over, bus made another stop on the way back. When returning, bus did not take us back to where we were picked up, they went to a lot with other buses and most had to change buses. Once we changed buses, the bus went well out of our way dropping people off. Tour was supposed to be over at 5pm, did not get to drop off point until 7pm.Written August 25, 2024
- lena36930 contributionsGorgeous private trip along the coast and the mountainAmazing private tour around Soler, Deia and Valldemossa, ending with a lovely wine tasting in a beautiful estate where the vineyards where impressively located on the hillsides. We appreciated that they really adapted the trip to our interests and all the suggestions they made before booking, were certainly aligned with our group. The travel concierge who accompanied us during the trip was also gorgeous, and really helped us to make the most out of the experience. We were a group of 14 and we all agree that this definitely was the highlight of our stay in Mallorca. We want to come back!!Written August 21, 2024
- sailor_hayley0 contributionsPoor service and customer serviceWe had a half day trip to Valldemossa with Lemon Tours booked via Runaway Experiences which we cancelled because they never turned up for our morning pickup. We went to the shop and were told it was now an afternoon tour. TBH Stefan in the Runaway Experiences shop didn't come across as competent, but it was the only shop who had a trip to this location during our dates available. I'd confirmed the pickup details x3times (via text, email and in person) and the staff did apologise, but were primarily defensive and dismissive. We cancelled and got our money back and immediately hired a car from opposite at Auto Balears which was awesome, stress free and overall cheaper. So if you're able I'd recommend hiring a car and have your own excursion.Written August 10, 2024

We were really looking forward to a special day trip, celebrating a special birthday.
What we encountered was a painfully long 3 hour coach journey with a 30 minute stop at the cyclist cafe to use the loo!
We were expecting 1hr 30 mins at a beach (as sold), what we had was 2hrs in Colabra, which is not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issues and a dreadful shingle beach, or a choice to walk through the gorge. No one in their right mind would take this choice after being told constantly for 3hrs that it was overrun with pick pockets.
The cafes are horrible and overpriced.
Then a 45-50 mini boat ride, the best part of the whole day, to the lovely port of Soller, with sadly less than an hour to explore.
The team into town took us straight to the train station, with no time whatsoever to explore the town, which I beautiful.
So in summary, unless you really want to do the trip through the mountains winding roads, accompanied by non stop commentary in 4 languages, please avoid this trip

We were looking forward to seeing Puerto Soller and Soller. The mountain road was spectacular and the boat ride refreshing. The tram and train were very interesting.
I am rather astonished that we only had 6 minutes in Puerto Soller after getting off the boat, grouping up and walking to where we would get on the tram Just time to buy a bottle of water before we got on. Soller looked fascinating but again we had a deadline of about 45 mins before we had to meet at the train station, we had a quick look look around the cathedral, bought a drink in a shop as there was no time for coffee.
We had over an hour on the coach collecting people, announcements in 4 languages by our very clever organised guide, languages byt done hurriedly so we didn’t really follow what was said. So if you have hearing problems then you may be totally lost.
I had no idea we would be spending 2hours at a small beach resort giving us time for lunch, I knew we were going on a boat but the details were sketchy of the whole tour.
We’ve done long day tours before around the world where a long day was necessary.
This tour was not what we wanted to see Soller, Puerto Soller and ride on the tram. We were fed up by the time we got on the train and most of the group were feeling like that too. I wish we had a lot more time in Puerto Soller and Soller. Friends were staying in Puerto Soller the following week, they will be shocked that we saw it for 6 minutes.
We spent a large part of the day picking up and dropping people off at hotels. Hardly ANY time visiting Soller and Puerto Soller.

Dear Lindsay,
We are sorry if you felt like this experience was not what you expected.
However, we actually don't understand why you booked our scenic tour "Train, tram and boat on the route of the Tramuntana lakes", when you were more interested in spending more time in Sóller and Puerto de Sóller.
We have other trips that go directly to Sóller/Port, without visiting other places in the Tramuntana mountain range, and we consider that this option would have possibly been more in fitting with your interests.
We are always glad to assist our travelers with any doubt they may have in order to make sure that the experience they reserve is the most suitable for them, and we wish we could have had the chance to provide you with advice.
On the other hand, most of our tours officially start at 9:15 am in Palma - Cami Escollera.
We do offer a free pick-up service for those guests who request it. However, depending on how far you are from Palma, the transfer will take from 10 minutes up to 45min extra.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards,
Linda

I'm removing two stars, because:
– The Viviane Guide was not very kind, but only with Spanish tourists. We have even heard him complain about former tourists, which is not very professional. Although what she was saying was very interesting, we regretted that there was no explanation in the afternoon. So a return to complete silence from boat to bus.
Several rather disappointing stops. The first we stop in the mountains but not at the many viewpoints that there were, but in a shop catches tourists where the glass of orange juice is 4.50€. Then, the stop at the port of Soller, you still have the Impression of being in a tourist catch with more than 1 hour of free time to shop... then when you arrive in Soller not even time to go see the magnificent cathedral because you had to board the train to return. So if you're on the wrong side of the tram, you don't see her (in addition to potentially standing and glued to other people).
Some positive points: The stop at Colobra Beach is beautiful (even if crowded with shops/restaurants quite expensive for mediocre quality). The boat tour was really nice (but safety instructions would not hurt as bcp people got up and fell). The tram and train tour are really a nice experience.
We paid 170€ to two, knowing that the food was not included, I find it quite expensive. If we had known, I think we would be on our own. However, the landscapes were magnificent, both in the mountains and at sea.

Linda

Full day tour for €79 per person by bus, boat, train and tram via Lmon Tours. Booked at the hotel in Paguera. The worst tour of my life!
The pick-up was announced for 8:20. The bus arrives at 8:45 - no comment on the delay...
It goes without saying that in preparation for the tour, like with the airport transfer, a dozen stations are visited to pick up a few people. I had mentally included this for the outward and return journey. Of course, it doesn't make the whole thing any better.
The tour guide V. tells everything four times (Spanish, German, English, French), speaking is forbidden during her explanations. She speaks nonstop, by the way. Audio guides would have been a dream!!
The visit to the market in Inca announced in the booking was cancelled - again without comment.
First stop: A restaurant somewhere in the middle of nowhere BEFORE reaching the tie knot with a tin shack as a toilet and souvenir shop. Just for a quick toilet visit.
We pass the tie knot shortly afterwards with almost no comment, just a brief warning immediately beforehand. OK, I know it. But I doubt that all the passengers feel the same. What a pity. There would have been a (nicer) restaurant and toilets here.
Second stop Sa Calobra. It is 11:38.
After the brief warning that the boat that will take us to Soller will arrive at 3:00 p.m. and that we should be on time, we are spat out. Anyone who knows Sa Calobra will ask themselves whether a 3.5 hour stop is not a bit long.
The boat does not arrive until 3:25 p.m.
We quickly realise the reason for the delay, namely the heavy waves that take us to Port de Soller after a nerve-racking one-hour journey.
The subsequent journeys by tram and Red Blitz are quite beautiful due to the panoramas. Here, however, the guide is completely silent, as she was on the ship, so for a total of 2 hours, and there are no more explanations.
From Palma we then take the bus back to Paguera - with the guide's explanation that we are probably tired now, but so is she - she "rounds off" this completely wasted day of vacation. We arrive back at the hotel at 7:30 p.m. ...
I know the tour from another provider to be completely different, with photo stops and tips on important spots and short guided tours.
Here, however, we were driven around for hours and left completely to ourselves during the only, almost four-hour "free time" in a godforsaken place.

Today we completed the Majorca Island tour, bus, boat, tram and train, we were able to book this through our hotel for €79 which was definitely worth it ! You visit the moutain ranges, the port and have a few various stops, this one is definitely unique , eye-opening and picturesque! The tour guide is also great, she's able to speak Spanish, English, French and German, however she's also very friendly and informative. Big thank you to both Vivian and Pepe ! Would definitely recommend, this also involves no stress as well organised!

Went on this amazing tour, brilliant driving by Luis on difficult narrow roads. Our guide was the superb Vivienne, fluent in four languages with her non-stop commentary full of humour. Wonderful scenery, the boat ride and tram to train was a bonus to add to the tour. Highly recommended.

The trip was excellent. Vanessa (Vivienne? Sorry. I’m not good with names.) was very professional in the face of great provocation, giving clear information and directions in FOUR languages. Pepe is a wonderful driver. Some of the roads were hair raising but I never felt worried as he coped not only with hairpin bends and other drivers, but also people on wheeled skis, and the antics of seemingly suicidal cyclists. Very well done to them both.

Unnecessary time wasted in the mountain stop at a refresh stall with top drink Etc prices and a tin shack with only one toilet so coach loads of people in line waiting. Waste of time. Stops like these with long unnecessary periods spent visiting egtram at dollar ant long period …spent at tourist shops mainly. Train back through longest tunnel ever , very fast, very scary. A day long trip that’s a time waster, designed for staff gratuity at stops. NEVER AGAIN!

This is for 50+ age groups, very unorganised and rude the manager of lemon tours. Not worth the time or money. The bus could barely pass from the mountains and everyone was scared for hours, even the tour guide was holding her breath, we had traffic behind us and no one could pass but most importantly it made us feel unsafe. The travelling with the bus was most of the time of the tour and we waited for half hour for a train, also boat tour got cancelled. The end of tour was not finished were started and there were unclear instructions as to were would be left off. Ended up being dropped off 30 min by car away from my hotel as they said there would be another bus to take back to the hotel just like we did on the way there. Barely had 3 hours of good exploration from 9am till 8pm and the rest was travelling with the bus! There are tours that are much more organised and enjoyable, this one was not it!

We used Lemon tours after another tour group forgot to pick us up. I’m extremely happy it worked out that way. Our tour guide was informative, knowledgeable and fun. He gave us history lessons of different parts of the island, had plenty of time to see everything and plenty of sites to see. They were on time, the bus was new and air conditioned. Lots of photo ops and places to explore. Boat and train ride around the island were scenic and breathtaking.
