Birgit is a Mallorquin through and through and I don’t think you can find a better ambassador for Mallorca than her. We did two VIP tours with her and both were excellent. She had a very energetic and warm personality. She showed us the local gems of Mallorca that we wouldn’t have known about as tourists. We learned about the culture and flavors of the island. She was an excellent driver and guide who ensured our comfort throughout the day. Mallorca is best explored by car and Birgit allowed us to do that without the trouble of renting our own vehicle and finding our own parking (which was often limited in small towns). We just sat back and enjoyed the scenery. I highly recommend Birgit especially if you are any to see the local side of the island.

Excellent little tour with a delightful guide, Birgit. We got to see parts of Mallorca, closer to Palma we probably would have never known about without this tour. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

My wife suggested this excursion and I am so glad she did as it was wonderful. Our guide Birgit met us at our hotel and after collecting two other couples (German & Belgian) we set off on our trip. Our guide Birgit spoke several languages fluently and although our group all understood English she effortlessly flitted between languages to be inclusive. The journey took us into the west coast and the Miramar region where Mallorca History commenced. After a brief stop in beautiful Valledemossa we visited a small isolated Monastery with only 3 monks which was reached after a 15 minute walk uphill but worth it. Birgit confidently negotiated the small twisty roads through the Tramantuna Mountains in the comfortable vehicle continually pinpointing out numerous interesting sights. We visited the island home of the Austrian Archduke Salvador - a popular wedding venue now. At each stop Birgit surprised us with a local delicacy -Ensaimada at one and cheese and biscuits at another. The final stop was in Soller where we visited the only authentic Olive Farm which was very interesting and where we had a lunch in the owner’s kitchen served by the owner who explained everything and we were able to purchase his olive oil. We were also able to sample his own fresh orange Juice and his neighbours red wine all delicious. The trip lasted some 6 hours but time flew and was made even more enjoyable by the conversation on many topics between ourselves and Birgit (an extremely erudite and charming host) such was the interest that we were reluctant to get out at our hotel at the end! We would wholeheartedly recommend this tour and everyone will get something enriching from it. To Birgit - Gracies and thank you for sharing your love of Mallorca with us.

Amazing!!!! Beautiful scenery, great food and fabulous history/stories. Because of the great tour we decided to get a car and see more of this wonderful island. We cannot say enough great things about this tour.

A truly wonderful day spent exploring beautiful and non- touristy parts of the island. We loved the incredible views from the secret viewing spots. The very best way to see the island. The visit to the genuine olive mill was a highlight and the lunch with olives, local wine and the almonds was great. Alvarado was a wonderful host and incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining. He went out of his way to make sure we had a memorable day. Thoroughly recommended!

It was absolutely amazing! Birgit knew a lot about the island and it’s legends. We saw beautiful places with beautiful views and we learned a few things along the way! Best excursion of our vacation!

Our driver and guide Alvaro was a marvelous host in every way. His humour and wonderful warm and happy personality coupled with his vast knowledge of the history and geography of this beautiful area made the day fun, fascinating and unforgettable. One of the many highlights was visiting the 400 year old home and factory of the olive oil family business in Soller, where we enjoyed wonderful food and lovely hospitality. The monasteries we visited and the history of many famous people linked to Mallorca was truly amazing to learn. The mountains and coastline scenery is spectacular. We have been to Mallorca many times and stayed at resorts but this was such a special opportunity to go up into the mountains and through little villages and farmland and we enjoyed every minute. Alvaro also provided traditional snacks along the way, each with a story from the island which were delicious as well as interesting, and of course on such a hot day bottled cold water was provided to us also. The car was very comfortable and we felt we were in very safe and caring hands with our guide. We would highly recommend this expedition. Thank you Alvero!!

We really loved our tour! They showed us beautiful place far away from touristic places. We could discover so many place which were kind of secret place. They told us so many stories as well. They also prepared us some Mallorca snack and it was delicious. We even had a little lunch in a beautiful place where they make olive oil by themselves. The guide was talking in English and in German very well!!! the only little things that I can say is that sometimes it was hard to follow and understand when she was switching to German or switching to English. (We are french). It would be maybe better if we only had a team who speak only English and another team who speak only German for example. But that’s all, everything was so perfect and beautiful and we don’t regret it.

Birgit was out guide for the day. Exect pickup at the hotel, took us to great places we never would have been without this tour. We had a wonderful day.

I really recommend this trip! We saw a lot of places we did not know before this trip! Our guide (Birgit) shared with us a lot of information about the land and the culture. She was very helpful and even show us some places in our area where we can eat good, local food. We drove thru the most beautiful places in that part of Mallorca and ate a lot of delicious, local food. If you want to see some magic places in Mallorca then really go for it!
