Vivienne shared with us her love of food and deep knowledge of Majorca. This is a much better way to find out about the island's food than just eating in a restaurant.

We went here on Monday 18th December and Ricardo was our chef/teacher. We had a brilliant evening; you can get involved as much or as little as you like. We learnt a lot and will be reproducing these recipes at home. Open bar all night and food during and after the cookery. Don’t feel you need to eat beforehand as I did, you will be grazing on Sabrosada and other nibbles quite quickly and finish off with a 3-course dinner. Also means that you have the rest of the evening to go out in Palma as we finished at 8.30 pm ish.

Vivian was such a vibrant host and teacher. Can’t recommend this experience any more but be sure to request Vivian as your host. She deserves her own cooking tv show

We visited Maria and Luis with a group of 15 people as part of a business trip. Although it was a very diverse group, they managed to include everyone and all of our team members felt very comfortable and at home. The food was delicious and preparing it was a lot of fun. Highly recommend it.

What a fun time at this cooking class. Vivian our chef was fabulous. We came to learn how to make Paella but also learned to make some amazing tapas as well as a Spanish Tortilla and Cream Catalan for dessert. All the recipes were delicious and we had an awesome time with a wonderful group of people. I would highly recommend this class.

Beautiful, low-key, fun, cooking & learning experience! Luis was naturally the star of the show with all the tips & tricks we'll need to make it all again. We were a lovely diverse group who got on like the proverbial houses on fire. 💯 recommend this event, especially as it is just around the corner from my equally top notch hotel Hotel Palau & new favourite Italian restaurant Little Italy.

Riccardo, our master chef for the evening, was superb! His presentations in describing dish preparation and general cooking tips (e.g., there is actually a great method for dicing an onion...who knew; preparing a squid as part of a recipe; not overdoing the saffron, etc. etc.) were sparkling clear and fascinating; his bright and warm and humorous personality carried us through the entire evening, and the food, which we all had a hand in preparing, was spectacular! Our cohorts were equally delightful and it was so interesting to hear about their lives as we sipped wine and enjoyed all the company. This is a must if you love cooking, or even just eating!

Maria is incredible, we had the best time cooking with her. My friend and I learnt so much, spent the entire evening laughing along with the other 3 people in the class and enjoyed cooking the most delicious food. The class was a highlight of our time in Mallorca.

This is a must-do experience whilst visiting Mallorca; I can’t recommend it highly enough! Especially if you’re travelling solo - I met some v interesting people from across the globe. It was a wonderful evening; learning to cook several dishes, with some hands-on participation too. Nothing was too much trouble for our chef and she kept us well informed, entertained and refreshed with drinks throughout. The finale is a delicious meal and great conversation with new friends.

A cooking class with Luis at Lonja 18 turned out to be the perfect way to end a hiking holiday in Mallorca. The setting is intimate; the location is in the heart of Palma (and walking distance from our hotel and the waterfront); the wine is included; the ingredients are fresh, locally sourced and first-rate; and the recipes are delicious. We had been in Mallorca for more than a week eating fine food every night when we arrived for our Lonja 18 cooking class and the dishes we made with Luis were among best of our trip! I highly recommend this experience!

We loved our cooking class with Luis. Made five amazing dishes- two appetisers, an entree, main and dessert. We also enjoyed the complimentary wine and company from the rest of the group. Would definitely recommend!

We have travelled to mallorca with the kids and another family. the restaurant had a great location and good space. It was crowded but the service was fast and professional.

What an absolutely amazing evening… Vanessa was the best host and we were lucky enough to meet two amazing couples from Canada and the USA. Exceptional value for money and the food that we all cooked was just amazing… What an excellent evening and one of the best nights out I have ever had and true credit to the wonderful cuisine and the wine of this beautiful wonderful island.

Our family of six adults enjoyed a terrific night with Chef Luis learning how to prepare several authentic Mallorcan specialties. Luis was wonderful -- has a great sense of humor, and he gave us good instructions about preparing each course. We also enjoyed learning about the foods we were preparing and eating, as well as Mallorcan culture and traditions. It was a Mallorcan feast! We prepared a starter of sobrassada on toast; a Spanish potato/onion tortilla (omelette); mixed paella with seafood, chicken and pork; and catalan cream (a caramelized custard flan). Luis also served wonderful sauteed padron peppers, Iberian ham and Mahon cheese, butifarra sausage, and, of course, wonderful Mallorcan olives. The food was excellent, and the wine Luis served us (there was plenty) was equally good. I would definitely recommend this to others -- it was a super value with an array of delicious food and wine, a fun learning experience with a great chef, and it made for a special night in Palma that we will always remember. We look forward to doing it again with Chef Luis on our return to Mallorca. Thank you, Luis!

We did the “Spanish Cooking” lesson. Chef Luis was fun and very informative. We made a local sausage appetiser with honey & vinegar, a tortilla, a paella & Crema catalina. We got stuck in with everything from peeling the potatoes to cleaning the squid. During this we asked questions, chatted and even had a glass of chilled white wine! Then came the best bit - eating it all!!! Washed down with even more wine!! Everything was so yummy! Would highly recommend and will certainly be heading back!
