We had a great experience with Iker and Basque Guides! We visited magical Donostia later followed by a pintxo tour … a gastronomic delight . The next day we visited Rioja where we we went to two exceptional wineries and had lunch in a great restaurant at Labastida. And the third day , we visited Getaria , Zumaia y Bilbao … an unforgettable day . Iker is such professional guide .. knowledgeable .. respectful , flexible and makes his tours to be like no other .. I can’t wait to go back to continue to explore Euskadi with him

Rather than book 4 independent tours, we found this option of a 3 day package. At the beginning we were skeptic, what if we do not make a good click with the guide. Just 5 minutes after meeting Iker our fear dissapear. He is not just very knowledgable of the history and culture of the different places, but he is open to customize the tour to your main interests, offer you options for you to pick, guide you into nice not regular places, in which you will experience a real local experience and not just the tourist favorites. We did the pintxos tour, the Rioja wine tour and Lourdes and Biarritz in France. All of them were extraordinary, excellent food everywhere, impresive sigthseeing and a very friendly, responsible, respectul guide. We highly recommend visiting this area, and getting in touch with Iker to get the most out from your vacations.

Iker was knowledgeable without being overwhelming and super flexible. He heard what we wanted to see and built a tour that showed us beautiful vistas, taught us history and offered amazing food and drink at every turn.

A supremely wonderful 3 days w Iker who is high energy, superbly knowledgeable, and fun for all to be with. There is great pride in Basque Country for the culture, cuisine, and the long history of overcoming conflict. Iker toured us near and far including Bilbao and Lourdes. One of the most memorable experiences was to be invited for a traditional Basque meal/feast at a private cooking club/society established since 1907. Loved every bit of our tour days.

My husband and I booked a 3/12 day tour and was fantastic. We started with a walking tour exploring the sights of San Sebastian and ended at the best local pintxos bars. We learned about local customs, food and drink. The next days we went to the Rioja wine tour, Lourdes and Biarritz in France. All of them amazing. Iker was very flexible and willing to accomodate our specific interests. He assures your tour is exceptional. He is very friendly and respectful. We had a real local experience and not the tourist traps. We highly recommend Iker as a guide. We hope to come back soon and hire Iker to be our guide

Our three day tour with Iker was exceptional!!! He is so knowledge and easygoing, and was able to cater the tour to all of our interests. We are big foodies, and he was able to take us and recommend incredible places to eat. We especially enjoyed our stop in Getaria for second breakfast (an anchovy feast) and lunch in the cider house. We really could not recommend this tour/Iker more highly. Definitely a must do for tourists interested in food/wine/cider! Thank you Iker :)

Iker is an absolutely exceptional guide. He’s incredibly knowledgeable but also really good at catering the trip to our interests. We were all really interested in food and he made a lot of changes to the tour to create an authentic and exciting food experience. Having taken many private tours before, this tour clearly stands out as an A++

Iker is far and above the best tour guide I’ve had in all my travels, and my wife agreed for her own as well. With only 10 or so countries under our belt, that may not be much, but there was something else.
His love for the Basque Country and culture was evident from day one. He actually enjoys his job and takes great pride in being a guide for those looking to learn more about his beautiful home and people.
He was a huge help for any day of our trip, even ones that he was not with us on. When our travel agent gave us the wrong time for our first days tour, Iker still came to give our first tour 5 hours early. His part in our trip is most certainly one that will make it so memorable.
I, an American, have no negative words for his work, he is the best guide I could have asked for.

My wife and I had an amazing 3 day tour with Iker Bardaji around San Sebastian and the Basque region. We both had a fantastic time! From wine tasting in the incredible Rioja region to touring the French-Basque countryside, Bilbao and the Guggenheim we felt like we got a really great taste of the area and culture.
Iker also arranged all of our restaurant reservations, from small and hidden local gems to acclaimed Michelin Star establishments. Our final meal at Arzak was off the charts amazing!! We definitely want to bring our friends back and explore some more. Thanks again Iker for a great introduction to your world!
