Jose was a terrific guide. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and articulate. The pinctios tastings were delicious and a lot of fun. There was a problem with our pickup but Jose handled it so well that we didn’t mind at all.

This was a day to remember. In spite of rain and grey skies, my niece a d I had a wonderful experience touring this beautiful region under the skilled guidance of Pedro, who shared with us his love of the Basque Country and the Basque language. We spent six hours chock-full of interesting information and enjoyed magnificent vistas. Highly recommended

This tour was absolutely worth every penny we paid. Pilar was the main reason this tour was great. The sights were amazing but the history and detail that Pilar provided us made the tour what it was. I admire her dedication to her work and being able to engage a group and provide details of each locations history. The tour was 6 hrs but it flew by and we were left in awe of what Pilar showed us. We were amazed with the entire day and everything we saw and experienced. This was made so special with our guide, Pilar. She was very knowledgeable of all the places we went and really knew her history of not only our sites but Spain in general. For the Game of Thrones enthusiasts Gaztelugatxe did not disappoint. However, be forewarned it is a pretty step climb and descent. But well worth it. The history of Gernika was sobering and very well worth the stop there to learn of it. I had no idea. Thank you Pilar for a wonderful day today.

The best way to visit the region. I highly recommend Pilar C. as the tour guide. She was very easygoing, walked the whole way with us at Gaztelugatxe (all the way up!!) and explained to us everything thoroughly in all stops, in addition to being very fun and friendly. Nice tour to get to know a small part of the Basque coast. Our guide Eduardo was very knowledgeable. When we had a specific question about something we had seen the day before, he put that question in an app group for guides and got the answer for us almost immediately. He also tells you a lot about Basque heritage and culture. The bus ride was nice and comfortable and showed the ruggedness of the Basque hinterland. The places we visited are beautiful. Prepare for a steep walk to St. Juan, but it is definitely worth is. Guernika is impressive bause of what happened there. Mundaka is a quite beautiful little coastal town. We would recommend this trip if you are in Bilbao for a couple of days and want to see more then the city.
