We loved the walk to the church. Great exercise, stupendous views. On the way back we had time for delicious snacks and coffee near the parking lot. The next stop was a fishing village. The walk out to the end of the pier and back took us the entire time allotted. I think this was because some on the tour were late getting back to the bus which put us behind schedule. Be considerate folks! We could have also enjoyed a glass of wine/beer/coffee with views of the coast but we love to walk. It was nice to have options. The last stop -Gernika was very touching. The guide walked us through the town and shared some history. Would recommend this low touch tour.

It is a nice trip through Basque country, that included Spanish and French towns. It also allowed to see country side. The guide Pascu was entertaining and knowledgeable.The views were great, but unfortunately we didn't have much time in each place. A little bit more time in San Sebastian. But like our guide said, this tour is just a teaser, to hook us up on the beauty of the region.

In a small airconditioned van with 4 other people and a guide we did this daytrip. The guide was nice and knew a lot about the area. I liked San Sebastian the most. Can recommend.

Tour guide Pascal was superprofessional.very friendly, funny, kind, and proficient in English, which made the tour enjoyable and reassuring. Driver Chris was also steady in his driving, making the bus journey comfortable and reassuring. I had a great time learning about the entire Basque region throughout the tour. Basque Country is unique, beautiful, and characteristic. Me and my mother enjoyed this tour so much whole time, we came all the way from Japan. Highly recommended.

It was truly a unique adventure. Delivered on all my expectations. We learned a lot and had some delicious food along the way.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much! He was concise and also told interesting/memorable stories about the museum and collection. I would definitely hire him again. He was also so accommodating as our lunch ran late and he stayed longer to complete our tour.

Comfortable small bus with excellent driver. The guide (Stephan?) was very friendly and had extensive knowledge of Vittoria, Laguradia and the Roja Region and spoke good english. Very interseting stop at Rioja winery and Celler in Laguardia. Ample time to have te lunch we wanted on our own choice in Laguardia. The excursinan was absolutely worth the money

We really enjoyed our tour! Estevan was so knowledgeable, funny, and helpful with questions. We especially loved the hike up to Gaztelugatxe! The drive along the coast and quick stops in Bermeo and Gernika was lovely. Great tour for the price!

This was one of four tours that we booked while in Bilbao. We were pleased with the route since it took us from the busy city center of Bilbao to the Vizcaya countryside.

You meet up at the bus stop next to the tourism office by the Puppy and, after about 30 minutes, you get to San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. The trek itself is doable, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes, and water. I say the trek is doable, but if you’re out of shape like myself, you might not find it so easy - reaching the top of the steps is only half of the trip, you’ll have to get down and back up again to where the bust has left you, and that was the hardest part for me. Don’t worry, though: once you make it back to the bus, you’ll have a little time to catch your breath on the way to Bermeo, a lovely fishermen village. You’ll spend about 40/45 minutes there, barely enough to have a quick walk around and have pintxos and beer by the port - my suggestion is a nice place with red sun shades on the right side of the port. Then, it’s time for Guernica: this last bit of the visit is the reason why I gave the tour 4/5 stars. Guernica has a lot to offer, and I really wish we had spent more time there. Still, even though there wasn’t much time, what we managed to see and learn about the city was extremely interesting and our guide Stefan explained everything very clearly. All in all, a positive experience!

Great day out to see the countryside around Bilbao. San Gaztelugatxe was stunning and we had a good amount of time here. The tour guide was passionate and informative.

Even though the weather was cold and rainy, we had a marvelous day and the weather did not impede our experience. We were the only 2 English speakers on our tour; our guide, Unia, made sure we received all the information. He had wonderful insights for everything. He made it enjoyable and educational.
