Luis was so informative and friendly--and made the journey stress free. Had the opportunity to see things we never would have known about en route to our destination. You will enjoy his company and his knowledge.

Our guide, Javi, was truly exceptional. He was friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable. In addition to being a great guide, he also recommended places to visit and eat and to watch Flamenco in Sevilla. I highly recommend this tour.

A group of 32 of us did a Pickleball Getaways tour in Spain. The local Spanish tour company they used was Andalusia Guided Tours with tour guide extraordinaire Luis Carrillo. Luis did a fantastic job putting this inaugural trip together. We arrived in Madrid for several nights before venturing south to Rota/Cadiz/Costa del Sol (Malaga) and Gibraltar. We pickled in the morning and toured daily to nearby towns. Luis was very knowledgeable about his country geography, ornithology, history, and politics. He also knew when we needed some down time and let us rest along the way, a very important insight for a guide to have! One of my favorite parts of this trip was a spontaneous trip that some of us did to Tangier, Morocco after the main trip ended. On short notice Luis put together a fantastic day trip by 1 hour ferry, with a private guide. I got to ride a camel for the first time and it was a trip! I have traveled to many countries and taken dozens of tours. Luis and Andalusia Guided Tours is my all time favorite. I, along with many who were on this trip are hoping that Pickleball Getaways will use Luis again for a Northern Spain Tour.

I toured Spain with a group of just over 30 picklers (Pickleball Getaways Spain trip). Luis Carrillo was our tour guide for the 10 day adventure that took us from Madrid to Rota to Malaga, with day trips to ALL the major cities and sights. It was an unforgettable, breath taking experience made possible by the brilliant, knowledgable, accommodating Luis. He made sure that we had a fabulous experience everywhere we went. To top it off, he pulled together a last minute trip for 5 of us that decided to got over to Tangier, Morocco for a day trip. I am hoping that Pickleball Getaways will do another Spain trip, Northern Spain this time, and that Luis will again be our guide. Also, Luis is fluent in English, and good at pickleball! ;-)

We also were part of a larger group tour another reviewer posted about and wanted to weigh in that we also highly recommend Luis to organize and lead your tour. We did so many cities and sites in 10 days (Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Cordoba, Sevilla, Rota, Gibraltar, and Malaga) and he kept us on track, enlightened, entertained and amused with his knowledge about history, culture, current events, food, agriculture... you really couldn't stump him with a question! Amazing - you won't be disappointed with Luis leading or organizing your tour!

The tours were part of a Pickleball Getaway. Luis orchestrated a group of 30+ through Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, Cordoba, Sevilla, Rota, and Malaga. Each stop was amazing with guided tours of the local places. There was plenty of time to visit the key places besides getting great meals at local restaurants. I would highly recommend using Andalusia Guided Tours when you visit Spain!

I can’t explain how good this tour actually was. Unlike most tours I’ve been on they rush you though to get quick money but Luis took his time and gave us so much information about everything which made it for me and my family by far the best experience and tour I have ever had. I want to thank you for everything Luis and we will be coming again soon.

Sevilla - Cordoba - Granada - Madrid | 6ppl Highly recommended if you’re travelling with a group of friends or family! Luis helped manage all the private transportation and also coordinated with local guides from each city. Christina, Mirian and Ana were very knowledgeable and walked us through the story of the city. My suggestion is to communicate your needs clearly with Luis (whom is easily reachable) and tailor your trip according to your preference. My family love history and this trip was just perfect and well managed. Thanks the team again for making our trip memorable :)

I’ve had 3 different tours arranged by Luis which already shows the service level at which this company is working at. This is not a company that wants to speed through each location with little to no information just to get you home before the rush hour. This is a company that will stop the car on a 2 hour drive for you to photograph some wildlife. This is a company that understands after walking around in 40 degree heat all day, an ice cold water waiting in the car is a small but thoughtful gesture that not everyone would be so considerate to provide. If there was ever an example a company where you pay that little bit extra to be taken care of throughout your stay rather than jumping on a cheap touristic bus, this is the one to choose.

This was such an unforgettable day seeing some truly amazing sights. We saw so many beautiful places and our guide Luis made the trip absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this tour.

We spent three AMAZING days in Ronda (including two smaller pueblos blancos), Cadiz, Jerez and Gibraltar with Luis as our private guide. We highly recommend him as your tour guide! He has the perfect blend of culture, history, and fun. He was very also very attentive, kind, flexible and patient, especially with my 50,000 pictures! We appreciated all of his tips and advice for the rest of our stay in Sevilla. Luis definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a FIVE STAR experience! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

As an elderly couple with some ambulatory issues we were somewhat apprehensive to travel on our own as we used to do when we were younger. But, relying on the recom-mendation of others, we chose to venture forth as independently as we could once again, with Luis as our guide for private day trips away from our base in Seville and for arranging some guided tours of sites of our particular interest in Seville as well. Our advice to travelers of all ages - trust this man. He is truly interested not only in you and making sure you are comfortable, but also in generously sharing with you his kind and engaging personality and his vast knowledge of the history of the beautiful country he obviously loves.
