- wendyj1040 contributionsOver subscribed and cancelledHaving booked and paid up front for the visit to the Real Alcazar we were really looking forward to the guided tour. At the required time we went to the allocated meeting point and found the tour guide at which point we were informed that we were not on her list and after she checked with her office we were told that our tickets had in fact been cancelled, not by us but by the tour company. As this was 4pm and we only had one day left in Seville we frantically tried to book another tour at a local tourist office, luckily we managed to get on one. I will never book with Tripadvisor again as they obviously use local companies that over subscribe the tours and then cancel at the last moment.Written April 26, 2024

English speaking guide shows up 30 minutes late, starts making excuses about traffic and it goes downhill from there but will spare the details. Very frustrating.
