Several Hours Needed to See Entire Site
Purchased on-line specific reserved entry time for Upper Palace (appxly $15 U.S.). There was confusion at the Lion's Gate entry. If the area was roped off with the entry times posted it would have been more orderly. Most of the staff were milling around at the entrance instead of managing the line so people were leaving the line to ask questions. The palace is a short distance from the entrance so arrive 15-30 mins early to reach the palace's 2nd floor. There are no bags or photos allowed during the palace tour, so lockers are available to store your items at the entry (coins needed). Guides take you through the palace, room by room. I thought the rest of Alcazar was more impressive than the palace so it would be fine to skip the palace. The Courtyard of the Maidens, the Hall of Ambassadors, & the entry to the Garden of the Galley were especially beautiful with the intricate carvings. Unfortunately, due to limited time, we were not able to see all the gardens.

    Highly recommend this tour!
This is a wonderfully informative tour. Isabel is professional, knowledgeable and very personable. We had a very nice time on the tour with her and learned so much about bull fighting, and how it is quintessentially Spain. Immediately after booking, Isabel reached out and provided us with instructions for next steps. She was easy to deal with and replied promptly, which just added to the ease of this tour. We are a family of 5, with teens, and everyone loved it. We highly recommend this tour. Tha k you so much Isabel!! You are amazing and we would do the tour again.

    Unparalleled!
Ms. Rico was a delightful companion for the morning and has a wonderful lighthearted sense of humor. She was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of our random questions (e.g. Why is there a crocodile hanging from the ceiling? Why does that dude have bats on his cape?). I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job and would hire her again and again. Highly recommended!

    Awesome Tour!
We had a fantastic tour with Isabel. She’s knowledgeable, patient, and provided a fantastic experience. I highly recommend her for a tour (it was just two of us so a great private experience). Well worth it!

    Top notch tour
Isabel was fantastic. We were a group of 8 and from booking to tour completion she was very communicative and helpful. She contacted me the day tickets were available and sent clear instructions on how to obtain our tickets. She communicated regularly to check in and provide information on tour times, meeting sites and other recommendations for our time in Seville. She was very knowledgeable and patient with our children (ages10,9,7). She answered all their questions and did it with a smile. The tour was amazing and we learned so much history of Seville. After our tour she sent many more recommendations for our time in Seville. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Private tour with Isabel is the BEST
We had a private tour. Isabel was the best! Bullfighting is a controversial issue, but essential to an understanding of Seville and Spain. Isabel was articulate and engaging and managed to provide a detailed discussion of the social and historical importance of bullfighting, without getting wrapped up in the political discussion. Truly an intelligent and charming individual. Also provided lots of extras. Was prepared with a wealth of additional information and background on her phone. And even left us with a tasty treat as a parting gift, which was totally unexpected. And sent us pictures!! We were disappointed with our other group tours in Seville. Track down Isabel for ALL your Seville sites. Better insight, better tour, and less money. The group tours were horrible. Isabel was the best of our tours in our two weeks in Spain. Isabel ROCKS!

A highly skilled guide and spectacular locations
The Plaza de España and Maria Louisa Park are two absolutely spectacular, not-to-be-missed sites. And Isabella is a not-to-be-missed guide as she brings history to life with her engaging presentation. She is thoroughly knowledgeable and could answer any question I had. She’s kind and generous, and you will thoroughly enjoy your experience with her.

    What a wonderful afternoon
What a wonderful afternoon I spent with Isabel during my private tour of Pilates’ house&garden!!! Isabel was so emphatic and charming, like I met a relative from another country! I really appreciate her knowledge and dedication and I learned so many new things about Andalusian style, the explanation of the name Pilates, or Catalina de Rivera….I feel like I have to come back!

She was efficient, professional and accommodating to what we wanted to know about Seville. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour with Isabel was the highlight of our visit in Sevilla
I booked a tour to the bullfight arena with Isabel. Right after I had booked the tour Isabel contacted me, provided very helpful information how to buy the entrance tickets, and communication with her was super easy onwards. The tour with Isabel was worth every cent. She shared so many information and stories which made the tour and the bullfight arena even interesting for my two teenager girls who are usually hard to keep entertained. Her English is very good too and she is as a person also very nice. I can highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Isabel! The tour with you was the highlight of our visit in Sevilla.

Experience bullfighting through the eyes of a local....
I believe this was the most interesting tour I have taken. Our private guide, Isabel was SO kind to wait for us when we went to the wrong meeting point. She was not only informative, but very honest about her personal feelings regarding the controversy of bulllfighting in Spain. As an American, I really did not know the history and the tradition of bullfighting nor the brutality to the animals...it was truly an experience I will not forget. Got some great pictures and so enjoyed meeting Isabel...she even presented us with a small gift as we departed.

    Wonderful day!
I highly recommend Isabel for your tours in Seville. We spent the afternoon touring the Cathedral and Alcazar and she is very knowledgeable, friendly and eager to answer all of our questions. We couldn’t have asked for a more informed guide. She was also very helpful with the pace of our tour as my husband is a senior. Thank you Isabel for such a lovely day!

    Wonderful tour of Seville’s monuments
Isabel was fantastic, starting when I first booked the tour about 6 weeks before she were to be in Seville. She gave me step by step instructions to obtain the tickets to the cathedral and palace and told me the times to book so that we could fit everything in. Her explanations during the tour gave us great perspective of the rich history of the city, cathedral and the palace, highlighting the centuries old interactions among the three major faiths that influenced the area. Isabel was funny, informative and responsive to the wishes of our group. The skip the line access was great and she even helped us skip the line to climb the cathedral bell tower. If you have the chance to tour with her, it will be one of the highlights of your visit. It was for us.

    A Memory to take home.
Isabel is an excellent guide. She responded very quickly to our booking and we agreed a time that suited us both. We met her outside the bullring and she gave us some fantastic history of the surrounding area and the statues nearby. Isabel had advised us how to buy the tickets online a couple of days before. Entry was easy and without queuing. Our visit was at 11:00 on Sunday morning and there only a very few visitors there. Isabel gave us valuable insights into the history of bullfighting, the ring in Seville and the dangers the men and women face who enter the ring with a bull. Even if bullfighting is not your thing, I would recommend a visit here with Isobel. Her English is excellent and she had many interesting facts to share about this important part of the Spanish culture.

An exceptional palace in a city of exceptional palace homes. The Countess was an amazing woman in any time, completing university and starting the preservation of Roman artifacts and mosaics from Italica in Spain. The palace was reconstructed around preserving these fabulous tile mosaics. Then the rest of the house, of course, is stunning like any other palace from the long ago super rich of Seville's wealthy times.
