Me and my partner decided to take this day trip from Seville to Carmona and Cordoba this March. We set off early in the morning from Seville's city centre with a big luxury coach. Our guides Son and Mateo, they were both amazing and their presence definitely made this trip an amazing and memorable experience. They were both very knowledgeable about the history and the local traditions of each place and funny at the same time, they didn't overhealm us with tons of information but they ensured it was well balanced with history and casual chat. Both places we visited were stunning and I'm looking forward to re-visit in the future. We had plenty of time on each place to enjoy the views, have a lunch or toilet break and the opportunity to take photoes. We definitely recommend taking this day trip with Naturanda Turismo Ambiental.

The tour was terrific. We enjoyed seeing Carmona and learning about life in a smaller village. Cordoba was amazing and there is so much history. We felt we had appropriate time in each location. Our tour guides, Peter and Miguel, were knowledgeable and friendly. The tour guide in the Mosque-Cathedral was verbose and we ended up leaving the building/tour early.

Our tour guide Innes was terrific and she put in a truly amazing vocal performance translating in 3 languages and in 35. degrees heat! Our guide in the cooler interior of the Mosque/Cathedral had the challenge of explaining the historical layerings of religious dominance to some people over and over again! A great days outing.

Córdoba is definitely worth a visit. So beautiful and amazing history to see hence the 3 stars. The tour guide however was more interested in her phone than us and her English, whilst better than my Spanish, was definitely not good enough to be working as a tour guide providing for English groups. At one point we were walked up a street and back down with no explanation at all, The group was also too big and no earphones so we often missed what information we were given. The guide even managed to loose some people at one point. Based on the many previous city tours we have done, this was definitely poor and not anywhere near worth the cost

This tour was very long - longer and more expensive then it needs to be. The tour should foreGo Carmona as it is honestly a token stop for a coffee and toilet break. The tour could be shortened by 2hrs without this stop. I would suggest taking the train to Carmona from Seville - its only 45 minutes away as opposed to through this bus tour which takes about 1.5h if not longer. Also, once in Cordoba, hire your own guide for the Alcazar to ensure it is all in one language. Our tour was in both Italian and in english which meant that quite honestly you only saw half of what you could have, had the tour been in one language. We had paid for a tour in English. The tour guide for the Alcazar specifically was disengaged and just went through the motions. On the plus side, the bus is comfortable and the tour guide Manuel was knowledgeable and personable.

I will start with the positive comments. The local guide in Cordoba mosque was excellent. She was knowledgeable, engaging and enthusiastic. The bus was comfortable and the driver was great.
The rest of the trip can be improved. The group included about 30 people. There was only one guide for such a large group that had to alternate between Spanish and English. The guide was not fluent in English. This was a waist of time and hard to follow. At least one couple decided to leave the tour in Cordoba old city as they could not understand the English.
In addition, the title of the tour is misleading. In Carmona there was a stop for breakfast and toilet but there was no visit to any of the interesting sites in the city.

I agree with others that focussing the trip on Cordoba would have been better as it would have allowed more time to wander round Cardoba. Time felt pressed by including Cormona.
The guides were OK, but we were somewhat frustrated by the time we had to wait around for the information to be shared in French or Spanish as well as English. We had booked a tour in English and had expected, as we had experienced earlier in the week with another tour by the same company, that this would be the case with the Cordoba tour.
All in all, I think taking the train to Cordoba and booking the Mesquite/cathedral directly would have been a more cost effective and less frustrating option.

We originally booked through another agency but the tours were merged due to too few people booking.
The tour guide , Mercedes, was one of the worst ever. Didn’t explain what was happening, spoke too quietly for everyone to hear, walked at breakneck speed from place to place without checking her party was behind her. I’m still not sure why we even went to carmona.
We were walked out of the centre of Cordoba for lunch, so we had to walk in and back out to meet her later.
The Mosque-cathedral was awesome and thankfully we had a different guide for this part of the tour. Hence the one star for the review.
Sadly we had to follow Mercedes across the bridge to the coach at speed so we didn’t have time to admire or photograph the views from the far side… only to then have to wait for the coach.
Worst of all on our return we were told with just 2 mins notice that the drop off points were not going to be the same as the pick up, thus being dumped on the street not knowing how to get back to our hotel. shockingly bad.

Hi sir.
Our excursion from Seville to Córdoba includes a stop in Carmona. If you booked through an agency other than ours with other conditions and when they referred you to our excursion they did not give you the necessary instructions, you should contact that agency, we will comply with the planned plan. The walks are measured and the pace always adapts to all needs, but there is a schedule to be met. We always recommend to our clients that if they are interested in doing the tour at a different pace or have mobility problems, book a private visit. The meeting point with the local guide for the visit to the Mosque is established at a specific point, it is not a whim to make you walk more than necessary. Likewise, the bus cannot be stopped at the meeting point until the group arrives, it is prohibited, it is the group that must wait for the arrival of the bus. Our guide complied with the program. The return to Seville was affected by surprise due to the traffic cuts that the city is suffering in stages due to the preparations for Holy Week, which are unpredictable.
In any case, thanks for your review.

We had two very knowledgeable guides. The first one Lourdes, guided us through the city at a reasonable pace and shared the right amount of information. Consuelo did the second half of the day through the palace but gave us just a little bit too much information. It felt like we were in a masters level course. We enjoyed the 2-hour break in the middle of the day to shop and eat. The only negative was that each guide explained in Spanish and then again in English which slowed down the pace and did not allow us to go to the city of Carmona.

Pros:
pickup and delivery went smoothly
beautiful country scenery while travelling
Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral tour excellent
Cons:
- bus had cramped seating and poor sound system.
- tour guide was very soft spoken therefore impossible to hear and understand. Her entire narrative both on and off the bus was a waste.
I do not recommend this tour group.
