    A fascinating and engaging tour
I went on the Seville: City of Queens, Nuns, Sex Workers & Witches tour, and it was a fantastic experience. The guide, Guille, was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour both engaging and fun. We visited some fascinating places, and his storytelling brought the history to life. The communication with the tour company was excellent. If you’re interested in Seville’s hidden history and unique stories, I highly recommend this tour!

    Ronda was spectacular
Our guide/driver was terrific. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the region as well as the sights in Ronda. It was a very enjoyable and stress free day and a very nice scenic way to get to Seville from Grenada Ronda is spectacular. We had plenty of time to explore and have a nice lunch. So very happy we chose to see it this way

    Family Memories
This trip was amazing. We went with Grandmother, Daughter and Grand Daughters together. Ana planned our trip and made it so personal to us to the detail. Fernando was our driver and was so courteous and helpful. Thank you for such a wonderful trip. We will never forget it.

    Guille was great!
Guille, a Seville native, was a knowledgable and obliging guide to the food scene in Triana, a neighborhood across the river from the city's tourist-clogged historic center. He tailored the tour once we got to know each other a little, and since I'm not a picky eater, he steered us toward some deeper-cut recommendations. I'm sure he could—and gladly would—accomodate any palate or question.

Excellent tour enjoyed by us !
A great trip- Carlos was knowledgeable and adapted the tour to fit in with our tired ( and hungry) teenager - the walk around the town was really interesting. The mosque/ church was fascinating. I highly recommend the tour !

Amazing One Day Tour of Tangier
We did a day trip to Tangier and our guide for the day was Mohcine. We were so grateful for his hard work, passion, patience, and great information about Tangier and Morocco throughout our tour. This experience made us eager to return to Morocco and learn even more! He went above and beyond to make our day in Tangier truly amazing! We also had a great experience booking with Masha, and with our wonderful driver Mohammed. I would very highly recommend working with Not Just a Tourist! Can't wait for our next trip! :) PS: For anyone who might be hesitant given the expense of the tour for one day, as we were initially, this is so completely worth it! The help with scheduling the ferry, with escorting us through the whole day, and the wonderful lunch experience made this absolutely worth it, and we would do this tour again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for a wonderful and truly memorable experience!

    Private transfer Faro to Seville
We had a private transfer from Faro to Seville incorporating a stop at Italica along the way. Our driver Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable, offering good suggestions for how to spend our time in Seville and tips on language, food etc. He was a great driver and lovely person. Thanks also to Mahsa for helping me to book the trip and suggestions for tours along the way (which was great value compared to subsequent day trips).

Great private trip and tour to Granada from Sevilla
Took a day trip from Seville to Granada to see the Alhambra and the Alcazyn. Carlos was a fantastic host. He walked us around the city showing us places we would never seen ourselves. Additionally, he gave us some hints of things to see in our next city, as well as tried to help us make restaurant reservations, which we were ultimately able to get in thanks to him.

Wonderful day trip to Caves of Nerja and Frigiliana white village
Great experience on a full-day tour of the Caves of Nerja, white village of Fragiliana, and Balcony of Europe on the Costa del Sol. Our tour guide (and driver), Predrag, was fabulous, and it was a pleasure to spend the day guided by him. First stop was the pre-historic Caves at Nerja with giant stalactites and stalagmites and other amazing sights. Next was Frigiliana, probably the most beautiful white village in Spain. Predrag knew the best walking route through the town, adapting the pace to our needs, and he showed us sights we would not have found on our own. Finally we visited the Mediterranean shore at Nerja and the Balcony of Europe for beautiful views looking out to the sea and shoreline. Predrag is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area, and he made the day so interesting and enjoyable. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.

Great Tour that gives you an appreciation for food and culture of Triana.
Guille was an exceptional host who comes from a family that has lived in Triana. He has great knowledge of the food and takes you to places that have been part of neighborhood for a generation. He answers all of your questions about the food relative to Seville and Triana and was able to provide a nice history of some of the restaurants over time.

A Relaxing Journey into Culture, History and Beauty of Southern Spain.
Carlos was the best tour host we’ve ever had. He was well versed on the history and culture of these towns. More importantly, he catered it to how much we were interested in, which in our case was a lot! In my experience, what makes a tour or rural, small town Europe come alive is its history and why these areas became to be the way they are in this modern time. Carlos talked about how these villages came to be with each takeover of Iberia and how these villages current people have maintained its history as younger generations move out to the cities and then back. Carlos also had tons of knowledge of the ecology of the area, which is important to locals and park system around these towns that protect it. The best compliment of a tour host I can give is that by the end of the tour, he felt like a friend you want to keep in touch with. Carlos absolutely left us with this. Finally, he is a big NBA basketball fan, so if you are, he will gladly talk about it as much as you’d like! 😉

We were on a girls trip to Seville and did the Flamenco & Tapas tour. Our guide Kati was absolutely fantastic, so warm, friendly and knowledgeable, she herself is a professional flamenco dancer! We toured the Triana area while she gave us a very informative talk about the history of the neighbourhood, the origins of flamenco and the gypsy culture. We then visited a local bar where we watched a flamenco show up close and on to another bar after the show where we enjoyed tapas and drinks. Thank you Kati for the amazing tour, we loved it! The tour was on the pricier side though and our suggestion would be to perhaps offer a slightly lower price level for fewer drinks/dishes.

I highly recommend this experience if you visit Sevilla. To begin, Nico met us in front of Santander Bank and took us to a beautiful tapas bar where we had sherry and olives. Next, we watched an intense flamenco show in an intimate venue and had another drink with several more tapas dishes. Lastly, we went to a different tapas bar and had another drink and tapas, including fried shark fish and zucchini. Throughout the tour, Nico told us many stories about his life as a professional flamenco dancer. He also explained local customs and culture. Nico was very flexible, and he allowed the group to decide when it was time to leave the flamenco show, as well as taking into account our preferences in ordering food (which is especially helpful since I don't eat meat).

Super Tapas & Flamenco evening in Seville.
Our guide Costanza took us to some great local bars for very tasty tapas and gave us some helpful tips for exploring the city.
She was very knowledgeable about the Flamenco and all the traditions surrounding it, as well as the local history of the area.
The Flamenco was held in a small, local Taberna and was really special. The performances were all improvised and the performers excellent. We were treated to some amazing dances, a magical guitar solo and a haunting song.
Thank you so much Costanza for a truly awesome start to our week in Seville.

We had fantastic time with our guide Kati, who is a professional Flamenco dancer herself and explained many interesting aspects that we did not know. That really made a show so much more interesting. The show itself was in a small intimate location and was superb. We had a few tapas afterwards and went to a local taverna to listen to more locals singing, we absolutely loved it. Kati gave us more information on places to visit, we really appreciated. Would recommend without any hesitatetion, the best thing we did on our trip. Thank you

My girlfriend and I took this tour , and we enjoyed it very much. The tour ended up being just us two, as no one else booked for the same time, so we essentially got a private tour which was nice! Walking around and learning about the history of not only Sevilla but Flamenco was very enlightening and enjoyable. Our tour guide was incredible, very knowledgeable and super friendly! The tapas and wine we drank were delicious (all ordered with expertise by our guide). The flamenco show was something neither of us had ever seen before, and we thought it was super cool!

All of this being said, we don’t think the experience was worth as much as we paid for it (we paid ~270 EUR for 2 people). For the amount of tapas and drinks we had, and the flamenco show (which was free to the public as far as we could tell; not a private show or anything), we think this could have been a lot cheaper.

Again, we THOROUGHLY enjoyed our time, and we loved learning about everything and walking around with our great guide, but we just think it was a bit pricey for what we got.

The flamenco was a nice show were you can definitely feel the passion of the performers. It was held in an intimate venue were the vibe is relaxed and casual. One thing we didn't expect was that everything in the show was impromptu and we were told that it's their first time performing together. Nevertheless, it was a pretty interesting experience and the intensity of the performers were outstanding. It was also great chatting with the performer herself afterwards to get to know more about the life of a flamenco dancer.

Having said that, I would rate this as low value for money as there was an extra 20€ per person collected for the show. That was expected and part of the tour details, but that also means that the 125€ that we already paid for doesn't include the show and covers the food and walking tour.

Food at the flamenco place was terrible. We had one bite of the food and couldn't eat any more. Drinks were very watered down. After the show, we headed over to a tapas bar were the food was a lot better.

As for the walking tour, this was non-existent as the only part that we walked was from the meeting point to Flamenco Esencia (where the show was held). It's 240m and Google Maps says it's a 3 minute walk. Then we walked from Flamenco Esencia to Casa Remesal (tapas bar) which is 120m and a 1 minute walk on Google Maps.

Overall, I wouldn't say we got our money's worth.

Thanks for your feedback Anna and I am very sorry if you did not enjoy our tour as much as we would have loved you to. As you know price is always a subjective matter. If you consider that your guide is a flamenco artist you might value more this tour as you are paying for the expertise and knowledge of a dancer with more than 30 years of experience and it would be unfair not to value people's time, knowledge and efforts. Also, as you know we only do private or semi-private tours and the price is obviously different than a huge tour with 10 people and with just a normal guide in a touristy flamenco venue. Re the food, we always go to local places and tapas bars far from the tourist trails. The venue usually has very good food and drinks are never "watered down". The owner is a professional dancer who has dedicated her life to flamenco and putting it on the world map and there is no intention to "water down" drinks or serve bad food or have dancers who don't know each other. If you know flamenco a bit better you will know that this is a certain type of flamenco and actually a very important and difficult genre. So rather a big plus than a minus. Re the walking tour. This is a flamenco and tapas evening and the walking part is rather a tiny part of the tour. On your date, the show started early and we started the tour directly there instead of having a walk instead. I am sure you appreciate also having dinner after the show instead of going for a walk being hungry. I'd like to point out that our tours are not prepackaged touristy tours but very personable and customized experiences. They give you a lot of freedom to choose, ask, interact and decide and I am sorry if you were not able to appreciate it. I hope this explains a bit better. Thanks!

This is the second year in a row we have done this tour. Kaiti is fantastic and it was a highlight of our tour to Sevilla in both years. The flamenco was great and even better was going to a local bar where everyone (including us) got up and performed.

What a fantastic evening we had with Kati, our guide. A professional flamenco dancer herself, she brought the culture of flamenco to life for us. After meeting us Kati explained how the ‘language’ of flamenco works with reference to the interaction between the singer, the dancers and the guitarist. She then took us on a small tour of the Triana area before we went into the show. Wow - the show was amazing. This was authentic flamenco, not just a rehearsed performance where the passion, music, enthusiasm and power of the performance really came to life. We were literally inches from this and it was easy to get swept away in the atmosphere. Afterwards Kati took us to some of her favourite places to eat glorious tapas in a local bar and bodega. There were only four of us with Kati and as the evening went on, we had great conversations to the extent that it felt like we were going out with a good friend. The evening finished on a high as we bade farewell to Kati. This was the best tour we took on our trip to Seville and probably the most authentic! Olé!

We chose the private Tapas/Flamenco tour in the neighborhood of Triana, Sevilla. Our family was shown a wonderful time by Costanza, who was also a Flamenco dancer in Sevilla. The combination of her knowledge, graciousness, and warmth made the evening super special. She also did a phenomenal job on curating our tapas choices specific to the two tapas bars as well as the restaurant we landed at, finally, for the Flamenco show.
Not only did we learn a lot about Flamenco, we learned a ton about Triana and Sevilla's history, the culture, and Costanza as well. So pony up the extra for the private tour. We peppered her with tons of questions and we didn't feel bad for not sharing our guide with others on the tour.
Thank you Constanza, queremos regresar pronto!!

We had the most amazing time with Costanza while in Seville. We knew we wanted to see a Flamenco show, but more than that, we wanted to learn about the history and art form of the dance. As a professional dancer herself, we was excellent in helping us not only experience the show, but understand it as well. Later, she took us two tapas bars and we had great conversation. This was not your typical scripted tour - it really felt like we hanging out with an old friend. I would highly recommned!
