About the operator
- saralQ7125IY00UninspiringMost boring boat trip I've ever taken. Seating is on plastic patio chairs. Unless you are very interested in the 1992 Expo which was held in Seville, where some of the buildings are still standing, then don't bother. Staff at ticket office were unhelpful and if you book on line make sure you download the QR code for your tickets.
- Maureen N00Birthday Boat TripThe river is lovely and seeing all the historical buildings along the way was informative. But it was a windy day and single plastic chairs that started to be blown along the deck was a bit scary. I dread to think what would have happened had the wind been stronger.
- AnthonyGSF00SCAM companyBeware. Scam company. Pancho Tours spoofed the real Real Alcazar website and sold tickets at high markups. Pancho Tours is not an authorized seller or reseller of Real Alcazar tickets. Not only did we buy fake tickets, but there is never any actual "tour" of the site. No email from Pancho Tours about where to meet nor where there any guides from Pancho at the site when we booked tickets from the real website. Avoid this spam company if you don't want to waste your money.
- Adventurers04900Good value for moneyWe were staying in the Macarenes area of Seville so it was well worthwhile to purchase a 48 hour ticket to get us to and from the centre of the city
- EctoplasmFantasia00Okay experienceOkay but the bus trip is much better for a similar price. Nice to sit in the sun but not a huge amount to see from the boat and off to sit on plastic garden chairs!
- alanwP5071PO00Wonderful tour of Beautiful CathedralMaria was out tour guide and she was wonderful, great sense of humour and really knowledgeable. Pancho were great, lovely set up with an office, room, toilet to rest in while you are waiting for the tour to start and literally 50m from the cathedral. Fab!
- FarAway6606567625900Would highly recommendOur guide, Sara, was brilliant. We were shown around all the key places, provided with a range of information and were able to ask as many questions as we wanted. We found Sara to be knowledgeable, fun and well balanced in her presentation of both facts and legends.
- dominicb1400Scam in relation to booking Alcazar de SevillaScam company. Pretends to be the official website and doesn't refund you when you don't use the audioguide. Plus audioguide is poor quality.
- Karen B00This tour needs to be rebrandedI pre booked this tour as I was looking forward to hearing about the old Jewish quarter of Seville Santa Cruz The guide Daniel was a nice guy but his English was not up to standard nor was his knowledge of the “Jewish history” of the area. So disappointed I could have read more prior to,the tour had we known his rapporteur was so limited. The tour was supposed to be 1.5 hours he completed it in just an hour Certainly not the price was in question more the tour itself needs to be rebranded “walking tour of Santa Cruz”. With a guide book and prior knowledge one can do this on your own
- lisakN4088EN00TerriblePANCHO TOURS IS ABSOLUTELY A SCAM!!!!! Make sure not to book nor get involve with any of their tours, activities and/or even the website! I got charged for a tour I did not book by just clicking into their website. If you do not wish to loose any of your money, STAY AWAY!
- Q1383KNmichaelm00Daylight robbery boat tourThe best improvement would be to sink these grotty uncomfortable boats. Shocking tour of some modern bridges, some graffiti, some tower blocks and trees blocking your view! 20 minute out then they turn around 20 minutes back. 20 euros each for a joke tour, avoid this boat tour, save your money and stick to palaces and churches etc. An absolute rip off.
- mariatY9086JJ00PANCHO TOURS IS SCAM.This site is a SCAM. Do not use! They never appeared for a guided tour at Rene Sofia Museum at Madrid. They took 87 euros for 1 adult and 2 children (when the entrance of one adult is 15 euro and children enter freely). There was no booking at the museum and they never showed up! They did not answer any phone calls.
- michelledG7557MM00Not sure this tour was worth it!Hmmm…not so much Jewish history to be found in Seville. Better to do a private Jewish tour in Cordoba where there is more to see. This tour finished near the Barber of Seville terrace and a discreet Jewish grave (very rare) but neither were pointed out by our guide so we missed the grave :( the terrace was signposted.
- Discover1368690171800Www. Realalcazarsevilla. Com is a scam astay away and keep your money. Book directly with the actual real Alcázar site .Scam. Do not book with this company. They make it look like the real thing but it’s not and as soon as you figure it out they laugh in your face and keep your money.
- Discover1368690171800Refuses to refund, rude, overchargesThis company is terrible. It says on the website free cancellation in big letters but they refused to give me a refund although I requested cancellation immediately after realising I had made a booking error - within a few minutes. Apparently, somewhere in the small print it says no refunds on tickets and audio guides but it is not at all obvious on any of their pages. They are charging double what you would pay if you book on the actual Alcazar website.

Had an amazing tour with Coral today. She was incredibly enthusiastic and captivating and we learnt so much! Even my 15-year old brother was interested, and that's no mean feat. Can't recommend this guide or tour company enough!

It’s hard to follow the Alhambra in Grenada, but the Alcazar is nice for the Seville leg of the trip. Pretty and more contained, the overlapping cultural histories are appreciated here.
I did not see that the walking tour was much later in the day until after I completed the booking. We had to move on and missed that part. The listing needs to make that more clear up front.
Guide was good and group was small.

Took the free walking tour 2 weeeks ago and was extremely impressed with our guide Chel. He is fun and animated in bringing to life the city's long and rich history. He made the tour so much fun and i learned so much not only about Seville but Spain's history as well.

We love the Pancho Tour we did with Lina, the first one we did was the free tour of Seville. I strongly recommend it, it will give you the opportunity to see a lot. We loved our guide (LINA), and decided to do another tour with her: the tour of the jewish quarter. We did it on our last day in Seville and we saw places we hadn't seen before, we loved it!!!

The trip around the Jewish quarter is virtuallly a waste of time as the Jewish community was effectively destroyed from the 1300 's onwards.
There are no surviving synagogues or Jewish relics or antiquities
There is an engraving on a wall feferring to Susan ben zyon.
Otherwise streets of life or death.
Hitler learnt from the Spanish Inquisition how to persecute and destroy a race
The Moslem community which was close to the Jewish community survived by sheer numbers .
Better to visit Cordoba [only just] or apparently Toledo.
Spain has alot to answer for and for calling the few surviving Jews marranos meaning pigs.
The Alcezar was very interesting built with bloody hands but life is about the strong and powerful who write the history you read about.

Our tour guide, Maria, was phenomenal. She took time to explain the significance of what we were looking at and gave us time to ask questions. She was energetic and passionate about providing a quality and memorial experience!
