Alejandro was a very informative guide - always happy to answer any questions and make the tour special. We certainly went to places we never would have found or considered. Would recommend to anyone wanting a local inside track on eating where the locals eat & ensuring you don’t get ripped off by tourist food!. Plus you meet some great people on the tour too so a lovely way to spend the day in Seville.

Must do experience: a highlight of Seville
Miranda was the perfect guide for this experience: she is so knowledgeable about the history of Seville and its food. We went to seven different places, tasting many local delicacies, from churros to pork cheek to dogfish. All of the shops and restaurants were local, family run establishments and it was brilliant to see that Miranda had a genuine connection with the owners - we always felt so welcome! Just a small note on the COVID situation: Miranda was well-prepared with disinfectant spray and hand sanitiser, and we all wore masks, as per the local guidelines at the time, making it feel very safe. This experience is fantastic value for money and we would recommend it to any group or couple coming to Seville, even if just for a few days!

Excellent Devour Food Tour of Seville

What a great tour. Manuel was such a nice guy to spend a few hours with. He was full of information about the history of the city, the traditions and the food. He speaks excellent English and engaged the whole group.

No Refund Even when Meeting Point is Changed & Not Communicated

Do not use. Poor communication and will not refund even when changing meeting point without advising customer or the travel agent.
We prepaid $305 USD for two adults for tour on June 13th, 2022 - Seville Tapas & Flamenco Tour.
Information provided - meet at Plaza Nueva at 6:30pm, but to arrive 10 minutes prior and look for someone holding a sign Devour Seville
We arrived at 6:20pm. Noone there. By 6:35pm we still had not seen anyone (Plaza was pretty empty) . Called three phone numbers provided (toll free , international and Devour Seville Food Tours) without any success in contacting someone. SO, we called our travel agent. She was able to get ahold of someone and they said they had changed the meeting point. No communication to us or our agent. They would see what they could do. It was over 105 degrees F out and we had now been there over 40 minutes. We ended up leaving. The company will not refund us even though we were on time and at the meeting point we were told to be at. POOR BUSINESS PRACRTICE. Do not recommend.

Great intro to traditional Seville cuisine
Had an absolutely lovely morning with Miranda on this tour. We made plenty of stops for great food, and also walked around the city centre and saw some interesting locations along the way.
Standout stops for me were:
1. The churros from Bar El Comercio - this came with a bit of sugar rather than chocolate, but the churros were freshly fried, not too greasy, and surprisingly light. I went back here a few days later to get some with the traditional chocolate and it was fab.
2. Everything from El Atun. Everyone in our group agreed to share a number of tapas dishes suggested by Miranda, and they were all so delicious.
This tour was a great way to get to know typical Seville dishes, from local bars and restaurants that did them really well.

I’d chosen the 11:15am tour and was the only attendant so it was just me and the guide Oisin. It was a brilliant 4 hours and Oisin had a wealth of knowledge about Seville and food in general which was fascinating to listen to. I don't drink alcohol and I was concerned that would be an issue but it wasn't at all and I was able to have soft drinks instead. We went to many historic, family-run places with delicious food and you get to see lots of the main town too. I would highly recommend the Devour tours and especially Oisin.

It was a very interesting and enjoyable tour. The food was very tasty and it is very good that they choose local, family run businesses to show us to. The guide, Miranda, was also very nice and gave us a lot of interesting information about Seville. Hope to do another tour sometime in the future.

Great Guide- Not A Lot of Food

Our guide was outstanding! He really knew his territory and was a good narrator and guide for our tour. My only compliant was the quantity of food. There were 5 of us at about $97 each. With the amount of food we had over the 3.5 hours of the tour, it was not quite worth the money. If they upped the amount of food, I would go again.

Great introduction to the food and traditions of Seville

Highly recommend this tour! Our family of three (one teenager) did it on the morning of our first day in Seville and it was a wonderful way to get familiar with the city and learn a lot about the local foods and traditions. Our guide, Miranda, was full of great information and really enthusiastic and passionate about the city. Come hungry - you taste a lot of different foods and sweets along the way! I couldn't think of a better start to a trip to this gorgeous city.

If you come to Sevilla, you need to do this tour

Miranda was an amazing, knowledgeable and compelling guide. She took the time to explain not only the food but the history behind it. She was passionate about the Sevilla culture and that came through when she spoke about the food and traditions. Our kids LOVED spending the day with her and in fact said that it was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Spain. If you come to Sevilla, you need to do this tour.
