About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Espressogal0 contributionsLearn much more than visiting on your own.Our guide gave us great context and used his in-depth knowledge of both art and the Cathedral to add great value and a lot of fun to our visit. For example Christopher Columbus is definately in the casket, Well his bones are, well 20% of his bones, we are not sure where the other 80% are, and a processional tabernacle weighing 450kg, was carried by 30 men on their shoulders and made from silver we stole from Mexico'. Loved it! Thank you!Written July 30, 2024
- Relax089045879140 contributionsGood tourThe tour was good but felt a little rushed. It was hard to take pictures without having to go back. Would have like to hear more about the details behind the construction cathedral.Written February 27, 2024

- NickyH7440 contributionsThe most Informative, enjoyable and entertaining small group tour of magnificent Seville cathedralI’m not a fan of group tours but this was definitely worth it. Our guide was Javier and his knowledge was incredible and his passion for history was so clear to see. He had a great sense of humour and my husband and I found him very entertaining! There is much to see in Seville Cathedral and great views over the city from the top of the bell towerWritten October 26, 2023

- dougmU5869KE0 contributionsQuick & Educational TourMy wife and I went on a one tour which was brief but enjoyable. Climbing the bell tower took a good portion of the tour, but the remainder provided a brief overview of the key elements, statutes and paintings throughout the Cathedral. We stayed after the tour to explore a little more on our own.Written September 20, 2023

- Cliff and Jacqu... D0 contributionsAn average experienceThe Giralda time was too short and we had to march to the top ,then had a few minutes to push through the crowds to see any views before having to return to the bottom. The cathedral tour was ok.Written May 18, 2023
- FionXiaT0 contributionsSeville Cathedral Guided TourFirst, the guide was easily recognized through the hundreds of tourists and locals with his pink shirt! He has shared details and stories of the cathedral and it was very interesting. Such as empty tomb, the chairs in the choir. The tour was great!Written May 13, 2023

After the operator insisting we be on time, we had to wait for 2 persons that were late for 30 minutes. We finally left without them... about 20 minutes into the tour the guide received a call and had to go back and fetch the 2 persons that were late who had finally arrived. We (group of about 45) were left waiting again for 10-15 minutes. The commentary was very superficial we hissed past rooms we did not see. I was able to eves drop on other tours/tour guides as we walked past them or as we were waiting and could easily tell the difference. The other guides were explaining and guiding to a far greater extent. Our guide was busy shepherding a group that was far too big. When we got to the groups entrance of the cathedral we waited again whilst about a dozen others groups appeared to be walking straight in. Again, we waited for no apparent reason. I want to be clear: this is about the tour and this specific tour operator not the site (which is fantastic). Based on my observations seeing other groups (smaller in size, no waiting, more interesting and in depth commentary, did not skip rooms like we did...) we just had a bad tour operator.

Dear Patrick,
From Sevilla Official Tours we want to thank you for your time to write a review of your feelings about this tour experience.
We feel sorry for the waste of time you have suffered, we have been speaking with our guide in order to avoid this accident in future occasions, that's why we thank your opinion.
We need you to understand that we are forced to wait our customers until the last minute before the tour startin time, thing that it's unfair for customer who arrived in advance and we feel sorry for that.
Also, we need to clarify that our guides are used to deal with this group amount so we think the problem wasn't the number of customer but the high afluence of customers in the monument. On this cases, as some departments are full of people, our guides try to show you the most representatives areas of the Cathedral.
We hope you would come back to our city and give us the opportunity to show you properly the monument arranged again.
Regards,
Sevilla Official Tours.

Javier was great touring us and our two young sons 2 & 4 around the Alcazar and Cathedral. He had great information and history he shared with us while making it like a story so it was easier to understand and enjoy. He was orient with our young boys and we really enjoyed the time we had with him.

Guide was very knowledgeable about Alcazar and provided good insight. Cathedral tour was rushed and not as thorough. Skip the tower climb unless it is not busy. Our climb took 30 minutes due to the queue.
Also, direction on where to meet were not good. There were over 50 tour companies starting in the same area and it took us 10 minutes to locate our tour, which was about to leave without us. Should have identified that guides are wearing the hot pink shirts and that would have helped.

A fascinating tour of the Alcazar Palace and Cathedral. Huge thanks to our expert guide, Xavier, whose in-depth knowledge of the ancient history of Seville and witty descriptions of the characters made for a very memorable experience. Highly recommended to take a guided tour.

This tour was worth every penny. Our guide Xavier was very knowledgeable and funny, and I know I would not have had such a good experience walking around Alcazar and the Cathedral without a guide - there is too much to learn! Highly recommend this tour and this guide.

The tour guide was sick and they got a replacement. But it was chaotically done and involved a 45 minute wait for which there was an apology - and nothing else. This really messed with our schedule. They could argue that they did their best. I kinda feel that they probably don't pay enough to their guides so they sometimes don't show and the the customer suffers. We did end up with an excellent guide - but had to wait.

I did this tour with the amazing guide Javier! All I can say is that Javier is a wealth of knowledge; so if you’re looking for a detailed tour of both places: look no further! He knew so many details and facts, and was able to adapt the history in relation to my home country.
It was great to be able to see Alcazar and the Cathedral with such detailed descriptions.
Thank you Javier!

The guide was excellent. Knowledge in depth, delivered clearly and in the context of the different parts of the buildings, brought them to life and let your imagination do the rest. No question went unanswered with helpful advice at every turn. I highly recommend these guides. I have not been on guided tours before, I always preferred to go at my own pace and make my own choices. I now realise how much I have been missing and will surely choose another when I come back

Although the Cathedral and Alcazar are amazing and are must-sees in Seville, I was very disappointed by this tour. The group was too large and the people doing the check-in were disorganized. We waited until the actual start time for our guide, Enrique, to finally show up. We also waited more than 30 minutes in between the Cathedral and Alcazar for the guides to figure out who was joining the next part of the tour, leaving 100 people just standing around getting more and more frustrated. I’d also suggest finding a tour that’s given only in the language you speak as multi-lingual tours make it very hard to stay engaged.

Dear customer, We are so sorry to heard you have a non satisfactory experience with us. However, we need to clarify how our timetable works.
Our points of contact, the guys who welcomed you are there to ckeck reservations and separate tours per language and once all is clear, the guide pick you up and start the tour. Also, we have to wait for customer who has the tour at certain time.
Sorry for all the inconveniences. We hope you enjoyed Sevilla.
