Like being with family!
Feb 2020
So glad I did this tour. Isaac and Rashid were beyond amazing. Two of the most amazing people I’ve ever met They were personable, outgoing, and very knowledgeable. They were always making sure that everyone was happy and satisfied, and that our needs were taken care of. I do wish that the camel ride was a little more inclusive. I would have been willing to pay a little more for a 10-15 minute ride along the beach, but the experience was worth it.
All in all, by the time I made it back to my hotel, I felt as if I was saying goodbye to family, and not just a couple of tour guides. I cannot thank Isaac and Rashid enough, for an amazing tour experience.
This really made my 50th birthday trip something extra special!

Really looked forward to this day trip from Seville.
Time was pushed back to 6:10 am
Instead of ferry going to Tangier it went to a Spanish city in Africa so we had to go through both Spanish and Moroccan custom borders. Nearly two hours stuck on bus at borders. Were taken to a different town and rushed through the Medina with a stranger who met up with our guide and a photographer. No chance to see anything, unable to stop to look about. We and were taken to a "craftmans house" read forced to sit through a Carpet sales pitch. We had to pay the old man who joined us and buy 3 unwanted photos taken by the photographer before we moved onto Tangier. Also a visit to the Sultans Palace was a look at it from 100 metres from behind a steel fence with armed guards, less than thrilling. Finally got to Tangier at 3:30 five hours later than promised. Drove through the city then whisked through the market before we were told we were going to see a very important spice shop. Again we were led unwillingly into the back of a pharmacy where a guy started his sales pitch for Argon oil skin cream and oil. Tedious to say the least. No one had any interest, that's not what we'd paid almost €400 for. We finally got 25 minutes to browse the shops and buy our souvenirs. Yes 25 minutes. When asked about the camel rides the guide told my husband you'd need a two day trip for that
So the trip in a nutshell

2 hours minibus -Seville to Ferry
1 hour ferry ride
50 mins stuck on a bus at customs
1 hour to first town
Frog marched around Medina, forced to watch carpet sales pitch, no time to look around
1 hour bus trip to Tangier
Marched around market and forced to watch another sales pitch
20 mins free time
Over 2 1/2 hours back to port with about 1 hour stuck on unmoving bus at customs again.
1 hour ferry to Spain
2 hour minibus to Seville
No Caves of Hercules
No camel ride, we didn't even see a camel.
Exhausting and frustrating day, oh the highlight was two boys stowed away on our bus and had to be turned out along the road. I emailed the company next day about how dissatisfied and disappointed we were but I've heard nothing back.

Dear 551catherineo, First of all, thank you very much for your time writing this complete and long review. In Naturanda we like to know the opinion of all customers because this way we can improve our services. For us, customer satisfaction is the most important. The day after the tour we understood perfectly your disagreement, and that is why we proceeded with a refund. The different town you talked about and you visited is Tetouan, one of the most beautiful and important cities of all Morocco. What is more, in our tour program which you can read when you booked, Sultan Palace is not included. During the free time you are able to visit it. Sorry for any incovenience caused in the tour changes. We hope the rest of your holidays were great. Sincerely, Pablo

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!
DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR! This is a bait and switch! Our tour guides were Pedro and Abdullah. We received a last minute notification that boat situation change and we HAD to take a different boat to a different city. This forced us to meet an hour earlier than planned. We spent the ENTIRE time at this first city. And the ENTIRE time was spent being hustled to buy various things. WE DID NOT SEE ANY LANDMARKS OR HISTORIC SITES! This was the WORST tour I have ever been on. Also, this was sold as an English speaking tour... it was 85% Spanish speaking and 15% English. The tour guides spoke mostly in Spanish and left out a lot of details to the English speakers. And lastly, the tour guides did NOTHING to protect you from the constant harassment of street hustlers. This was extremely annoying because it was nonstop and they were aggressive. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! This is a SCAM!

We respect and listen each opinion, positive or negative, but we do not consider sharing wrong information about our workers. The guides did the tour in both languages, giving exactly the same information. Although Morocco is a country with a different culture, it is not dangerous at all and is completely safe. You did not have to feel threatened or in danger by any person who tried to sell them something, making a living, because our guides were with you throughout the tour, helping you and solving your doubts. Sorry for any incovenience caused in the tour changes. We hope the rest of your holidays were great. Sincerely, Pablo

Our guide Rasheed was the absolute BEST!
Dec 2019
This was an amazing tour! So many things we got to see and do that you simply wouldn't have been able to do on your own. The day began with a long ride from Sevilla to Tarifa. The ride is about 2 hours in each direction which is a lot but not really a deterrent in hindsight. Transfers at the ferry were expertly handled and border control was handled on the ferry so as not to waste time. Our guide, Rasheed, met just at the boat and whisked us away for a fascinating day. We began with a bus tour of the coast and a stop at Cap Spartel Lighthouse with its amazing views of the Straight of Gibraltar. We visited the Grotto of Hercules which was beyond amazing and even got to ride the camels. The walking tour of the city was something I probably wouldn't have enjoyed if not for the expertise of our guide, Rasheed. Tanger is intimidating and foreign but our guide, Rasheed expertly navigated the entire town and seemed to literally know everybody. We left no corner unturned as he walked us into every interesting spot in the city. Lunch was "just ok" but everyone, including the staff here, was super friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I am so happy I took this tour. I found it very interesting and amazing for the money. Do be prepared for a good deal of walking, especially up some pretty steep streets. I was exhausted by the end of the day!

Tangier in a wonderful day!
Nov 2019
Our trip was well-organized and well-planned by our guide Pablo. No question left unanswered. Comfortable transportation and ease of transfer from country to country. Not a moment lost due to miscommunication or lack of attention to detail. Group was 'just right' in size and camaraderie! I should have had a few more euro coins to manage the tips I needed. One of my most memorable trips! Thanks Pablo for a great experience!

Amazing day thanks to Isaac and Rashid
Nov 2019 • Solo
Despite a few reviews being slightly neutral , I think
This trip was amazing and A MUST DO if you can spare a day !
Yes it’ll be a long day . Yes it may be hot or it may rain but our two enthusiastic guides , Isaac in Spain and Rashid ( and Isaac) in Morocco made it a splendid day .
The minibus was amazing and thanks to our drivers Maria ( Spain ) and Abdullah ( Morocco ) we were able to get around
I was a vegetarian and the Moroccan food was nice 7/10 )
We were a bunch of Brazilians , Puerto Ricans, Americans , Canadians , Brits , Indians and Germans and Spanish people too so the commentary was English and Spanish .

Don’t worry about the time consuming immigration process or the ferry delays if any , it’s all part of the amazing experience .

You only live once , I’d say take this trip !

Shukran Rashid and Gracias Isaac and your team . You were both amazing !

A Good Tour Experience
Nov 2019
The biggest selling point for my wife and I was the opportunity to visit a continent that we otherwise would not ever visit in our lifetime. In terms of pickup and dropoff, there are no complaints as both locations were close to our hotel. The meet-up in the morning is tough because it is quite early (7:15am) but the ride out to Tarifa is quiet as everyone is asleep or resting for the long day ahead.

Our tour guide helped us by working with the ferry company on attaining our tickets. At that point, he leaves, which could be room for improvement on this tour. It's one thing if the tour guide can't work in Africa but leaving a group of people on their own can be intimidating. Luckily, our tour group bonded while drinking coffee and having pastries prior to boarding so we agreed to look out for one another. The ferry passport control is a mess but you need to get in line and wait it out as otherwise, you won't be able to get into Morocco. Some people did wait in line for most of the ferry trip but that was because they didn't get and stay in line to begin with. From there, you enter Morocco and Rashid meets you and guides you to the tour bus. He was funny and amiable but also upfront about taking us to the stores in the afternoon as he received a commission from the sales. The bus tour around the city was nice but definitely not enough time to take pictures in the more scenic of views. Lunch was chaotic and you get crammed in a small place but otherwise, it was good. The toughest thing was it rained after lunch so we had to walk around the city in the rain. Rashid did his best to find covered areas to keep everyone out fo the rain which was appreciated. After the visits to the shops, we had an hour or so to tour the area on our own. Personally, I had no issue with that as I was over the peddlers and there were a lot of shady characters around the area. The tour group noticed that there were many men out and very few women so it can be something to keep an eye out for though this is a cultural adjustment to say the least. Overall, good trip but do note that the drive back to Seville does not stop anywhere so you either buy something in Tangier to eat on the ferry or buy food on the ferry. We got back after 11pm in Seville so that is something to keep in mind as well if you wait to eat.

One last thing, I've seen it mentioned throughout of the many peddlers and the trips to the cloth store and "pharmacy". This tour is to a third world country and the peddlers and store reps will do their annoying best to sell you their products. You don't have to buy anything but just understand they're trying to make money like anyone else in the world. If it's not something you feel you can handle, don't take the trip because otherwise, you'll write a bad review of your misery during the tour.

High expectations, bad experience!
Oct 2019
The trip was far from being an interesting experience by visiting a picturesque place with an ancient culture, as we expected. The trip had a very bad start as all the way in the bus from Seville to El Tarifa port has not been commented at all by the operator's guide. The next bad experience was on board of the ferry where we spent about 2 hours( meaning all the cruise time plus 1 hour) standing in the line for the passport control. The next bad experience was the local guide Rashid who took us in a forced march in the Medina, a very dirty and horrible smelling place, with an itinerary targeting to convince us to buy souvenirs or local products. All the time he was speaking at his mobile arranging his business tours. The lunch was in a very narrow place, served without any willingness and hospitality in a continuous rush without any explanations of the contents of the food. The only interesting visited place was the Hercule's caves, but we were left to guide by ourselves and think whatever we learned from written guides about it. The surroundings and beaches were extremely dirty full of trash and excrement. The only area clean is that occupied by high class villas (the king, ambassadors, Emirate's prince) and I shall tell them to be ashamed that they do nothing to educate the poor people from Medina or at least to invest for cleaning the areas where the working class and little commerciants might have a decent life.

Nice tour of Tangier but didnt see much
Oct 2019 • Couples
This tour was OK but however the tour included lots of stops for unnecessary demonstrations of good for the purpose of selling. Like the scarf and oil at a pharmacy. We didn't get to see much of Tangier coz being taken to view the scarf store and oil demonstrations took up most of our time for tours. It was a waste of time sitting to watch the oil mixing only to sell you their potions are so unnecessary for a very limited time to see much of what Tangier has to offer. I would rather be given enough alone time so I can wander the streets of Kasbah and the Medina on my own rather be taken for selling demonstrations.

An Experience
Oct 2019
What a great way to experience a different culture. Think they forgot to put shock absorbers in the bus so the trip to and from the boat was a bit bumpy but apart from that the trip was excellent. The old town of Tangier is a mix of sights, noise and smells. Despite being a bit wary, the lunch was good, even for the more fussy eaters. All in all worth the day trip.
