It was worth having the guide to hear the history of the Alcazar and how it all fitted together. As for the Alcazar itself, not a lot of the original is left and, in comparison, The Alhambra was a better visit and more interesting. But the gardens were amazing tho.

We met with the local guide and manager at the meeting point as agreed.
They requested the tickets and from there the organisation went absolutely wrong...
They started asking for every one to pay the entrance to the alcazar (11.5 euros each) while our tickets clearly stated included. We insisted and they ended up on the phone to check the information only to ending up agreeing with us we paid everything.
After that, they asked more money for the headphones... Once again included in the booking we did via TripAdvisor.
In the group with us, there were a few persons who needed to show proof of ID. The guide wanted to take the passport away...
Once at the entrance, they make you wait the time to go and buy the tickets etc.
For the tour itself, there was lots of information provided but we felt like it was a bit rushed and it looks like some of the smallest rooms were missed.
Guide was friendly and knowledgeable.
Not worth the money you paid for.

We did an afternoon tour. Whilst it would have been easy to buy tickets at the gate as there wasn't a queue, it was easier to do a tour with a guide who could explain this history of the Alcazar. Our guide was Samuel. The tour was done with an audioguide which made it much easier to hear the guide. Samuel was very knowledgeable and quite fun!

In relation to the start location look out for the purple tshirts or jackets of the guides. They stand a bit away from Haagen Daas ie not right out front of it. The location is close to Starbucks.

Our guide told us absolutely nothing about the people that lived in the Alcazar, their lives, their intrigues and all the goings-on that must’ve made it such a fascinating place for many centuries. He would always focus on tiny details of the architecture or a slight sign of Christian, Jewish or Islamic imagery in the tiling. To be honest, I wish we had gone on our own with just a guidebook

We are sorry that this has been your experience, we would like to know more about the guide who made the Tour to know what happened. We find it strange that it was like that, because in our tours we usually talk about the Spanish Royal family and the inhabitants of the monument as well as the reform that each of them made. That's why we would like to know who was the guide or what time and exact day of your tour to inform us, because we find this criticism rare for what you tell us. Thank you very much.

I wish I could write a review of the tour we were so looking forward to, but they refused our booking and denied us the tour. Based on other reviews, this is clearly a trend.

We arrived on time - in the cold - with ticket in hand. Straight away we were told our booking did not exist (despite the fact we were standing there with printed confirmation) and were placed immediately on the phone to the customer service centre. The speed at which this occurred clearly suggested this was a routine and nothing out of the ordinary - telling people they simply would not accomodate them. On the phone the blame was passed elsewhere. The couple next to us had the exact same experience. Out of the six at the start of the tour, 2 were turned away! The guides offered absolutely zero sympathy and we were simply moved on.

Had the booking required confirmation from the company and were told in advance we could not be accommodated, that would be one thing - but our money was taken and the booking was confirmed. How you can be blatantly denied on the tour is mind boggling!

We then stood in line for the Alcazar for five hours. FIVE HOURS. What was supposed to be 2 hours of our limited days in Seville, became 7.

Whatever you do, do NOT book this tour. Find anything else.

Suggest that you do not trust this company.

We booked our tour online and given their presence on social media thought that was the best approach. However, when we showed up for the tour early in the morning in the cold and showed our confirmation the company claimed to not have our booking.

There was a claim that an email was sent saying the that the booking was canceled, however, none was received. This same thing happened with a family in front of us. While the guides on site were very nice, the customer service person we were placed on the phone with was not helpful at all and offered no other solutions than booking a future tour after the date when we would leave. The tour company blamed TripAdvisor however, when we called TripAdvisor there was no record of communication from the tour company.

No efforts of accommodation were made although money was received by the tour company.

Also FYI, the fee that is advertised does not include the cost of tickets, that is additional.

I'm going to write the same review for both Pancho as well as feel the city. As my tour had combined the two groups. I booked the guided tour and skip the line through book my guide at+35 Euros per person compared to regular tickets. Total for two people was 96 euros. The tour did not start on time. When it did start we had to wait in line - called the booking line - I could've gotten the tickets online and skipped all these lines. When inside the guide did not speak English well. She had a heavy accent that many couldn't understand and really didn't do Alcazar justice. At times providing inaccurate information....I don't recommend at all. I was so disappointed in the tour that I'm leaving this review using my phone while I'm still at Alcazar ... Terrible...

Showed up on time at appointed meeting spot with confirmed ticket booked and paid for with Viator / TripAdvisor. It was early on a cold Seville morning.
Guide could not find our name on her list and immediately(within seconds !) grabbed her phone and put us onto the "help desk", commenting "I hope this isn't going to happen all day or I will have a bad day". Obviously not the first time there was a problem (and not the last for her today either - read on). Turns out there was no place on the tour. Instead there was a convolutred story about how we could do the tour in 3 days time. As we don't live in Seville and were only visiting that was obviously impractical. There was also a story about an advisory email - which we later discovered was sent in the middle of the night for an early morning tour and which we accordingly didn't pick up. No attempt at texting or phoning which would obviously have been more effective at such late notice even though they had our number from the booking.
Were we the only ones to show up with a fully paid and confirmed ticket and be knocked back?. Of course not ! Exactly the same happened to another group trying to join this tour and another person there told us the same had happened to them a few days before but they had accepted the "alternative" date as they had time to do so.
This does not look or sound like an accident but seems to be deliberate overbooking on busy days on the basis of filling up later tours. There is a promise of a refund. The money was immediatley deducted from my creduit card when I booked - funny that it doesn't come back so quickly !
Avoid Feel the City Tours !
We have also been good customers of Viator for years - taking multiple tours in multiple countries, but they now accept no responsibility even though the booking was made with them. We will never use them again either.
End result - the main reason we came to Seville was to visit the Alcazar. My wife has a mobility disability which is why we wanted a skip the line tour. Instead we spent 5 hours in a line to visit the Alcazar. Truly amazing but the visit was soured by this miserable experince in appalling customer service.

Bought "skip the queue tour" on line ,then had to pay cash to the representatives at the site for entry tickets and extra for the use of a blue tooth head set!
We would have been quicker buying our tickets on line from the Alcazar hiring one of their digital tour sets and skip the queue that way. Viator sure know how to fleece the tourist. None of this information on extra cost was available to us until we had already paid for the tour and even then in extremely small print! Well you live, learn and never use Viator again , don't you!
