The tour pick up time for us was 8 am as our hotel was the last on the list. so it was very convenient. The coach was on time with a very pleasant guide. The coach had comfortable seats. We were supplied bottled water on boarding. The travel time was approximately 3 hours and was extremely comfortable. On arrival at Alhambra, we were provided with a local guide. He was very knowledgeable and provided us with lot of information about the place. We saw Generalife, Alcazaba and Nasrid Palace. The only negative point is that 3 hours is not a justice to this place. the place is huge and you need to walk a lot. Kids got a little bored. If you have time I would recommend staying nearby and take some time to really appreciate the architecture and place. Also I did not find it wheelchair accessible. We hardly had any time to grab lunch. Later time was provided to see Granada but again time crunch. The coach departed from Granada by 5pm and dropped us at 8pm.

This is a very long day if you are picked up at 6.00am you do not return till 9.00pm. Ramon on the tour bus was great and wanted to ensure all were happy but the guide in Alhambra was pathetic had no people skills and made no eye contact, just rattled away ahead of the group.

I went on a day trip from Seville to Granada a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and we thought it was great. Thanks to the guide Toni we learnt a lot about the landscape and history of Andalucia, which made the long bus journey more interesting. He was always friendly and smiling and willing to answer questions from the group. The Alhambra is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen and our guide there, Cristina, also added to it by showing good knowledge during the tour. We would definitely recommend this trip to others.

We're pretty happy about reading your oppinion here. We will tell Toni and Cristina about it, that will make them be happy too!! That's our idea about how a tour should be, and what we want to offer our customers.

This trip was definitely worth it, we got to see the Alhambra which was amazing and showed the great architecture.
Our guide was Javier who was every enthusiastic and made the tour enjoyable. Our local guide was Rafa - he was very unique and definitely knew his stuff. Both guides spoke English well and we could understand clearly what they were saying.
Would highly recommended!!

Although the day trip down to Granada and back to Seville is quite long, it is very much worth the effort. This has been one of the highlights of my time in Spain.

We were picked up at our hotel at 7:45. Very convenient. It’s 3 hours each way but they stop halfway at spacious stop with great food and bathrooms for 30 mins. Once there Raphael was excellent. We joined another group but it was fine with head phones. The place is mind blowing. Huge. Beautiful gardens, fountains and architecture.

The good:
Alhambra is amazing.
On-site guide Rafaei was superb - really interesting and knowledgeable.
Hotel pick up/drop off is nice
Pre-trip communications were thorough
Mini bus was clean and comfortable
Bus driver and guide were pleasant.

The okay:
5:25AM pick up was really harsh and I was the LAST pick up (thought I was the first at that time)
Alhambra was quite chilly - altitude and time of year. I was clearly not a prepared tourist as was not expecting that.
Lots of uneven surfaces and stairs. I'd caution anyone with mobility issues or not too steady on their feet - you really need to traverse entire site so just hanging out at the top would be waste of time.
Having both English and Spanish speakers in group meant everything had to be repeated in two languages. I happen to speak both so I really got a lot of value. However, I think one single language would have allowed group to ask questions and to get even more factoids on the tour. I hesitated to ask any questions since there was no time to fit them in while Rafael guided us.
We had just about two hours total from drop off in city center to getting back to bus to encompass seeing town of Granada, getting souvenirs and possibly eating something before the 3 hour drive back. Not enough time.

Glad I went as know I would not have rented a car, driven 3 hours, climbed up to Alhambra parking area etc on my own.

Our guide was superb especially as he had a large group of Spanish and English speakers. Whilst the language was being spoken that you didn't understand it gave time to back off from the group and take pictures slightly off the tour path. We had to stick quite close to the group as there were thousands of people there. This however didn't detract from the enjoyment. It was a steady procession through the different areas, fort, palaces and gardens but enough time to enjoy this fantastic attraction. You could easily spend the whole day there and re trace your steps to areas of particular interest (except the palaces which were a timed entry). Would like to have gone back to the garden but this tour gave a flavour and all do able in a day trip from Seville. Need to go back and explore some more by staying in Granada.

Absolutely wonderful trip. The guide on the coach was good and we were lucky to leave Seville at 10am as it was a Feast day the day before. Our tour at La Alhambra started at 4pm and lasted for nearly 3 hours with a 10 minute stop! The guide we had was amazing. She switched between Spanish and English with no hesitation and her knowledge was incredible.
Only negative was we had NOT been told to take passport/identification and you have to show your ticket several times and random people are asked to show identification and my friend had nothing. Luckily they accepted her bank card as proof of who she was!
Otherwise the trip was superb and well worth the cost.

I couldn't find an email address for visitours seville to give them feedback.... The alhambra tour is 2 and half hours and it is too long and too intense. You miss the ambience and are unable to enjoy it. It would be better to be given a skip the line ticket and a map and some tips of the alhambra then go at your own pace or an option of a tour. Being hearded around like sheep whilst you are talked at takes the enjoyment out of it. Then you are abandoned and get lost trying to find the coach. You just feel tired and thirsty. They need to have more options for people. It is the only way to have a granada day trip from seville but it needs to be organised more intelligently to suit everyone including those with different physical abilities. It was Information overload. Its meant to be an experience not a study day.
