Excellent guide for Albaicin and Sacromonte Granada
We had the great pleasure of taking a walking tour with Mario, a guide we met at the Plaza Nueva tour office. Although we were staying in Albaicin, Mario took us to many places we would have never seen or known about. He was very knowledgable regarding the history of the area, personable, and paced the tour well as much of it was uphill. He made it easy and enjoyable for us. The tour of Sacromante was particularly interesting. We highly recommend you ask for him if you have the pleasure of spending time in Granada.

    Do Not Book
I booked this tour 2 months in advance. I received a confirmation email and my card was charged. When I arrived in Granada I was told that they were unable to secure tickets to the Alhambra and the tour was cancelled. This was supposed to be my birthday trip with my family. I was shocked that I was never notified prior to arriving in Granada. Do Not Book with Pancho Tours.

THE VISIT THAT NEVER HAPPENED DUE TO TRIPADVISOR
On Feb 26, 2023 we booked a Guided tour of the world-famous Alhambra in Granada, Spain. When we arrived at the "Welcome" Center, we were shown an email that the organizer, VIATOR LONDON, UK HAD SENT THE EVENING BEFORE (!), stating that they has been unable to get tickets(!), so they were cancelling the visit. So, TRIPADVISOR and VIATOR (who is who??) sold something they did not have. Nevermind we booked a hotel, took a taxi and probably are never going to come back to Spain. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRIPADVISOR OR VIATOR UK, as they are thoroughly unreliable, but book directly with the ALHAMBRA several months ahead. This experience will be shared with the Tourist Board of Granada.

    Good experience
Carlos was a very good guide. He was very nice and accommodating. He also took us to all the good spots for photos ahead of the other tourists.

Take this tour, and ask for Marta!
I think this is a must do if you have the opportunity to visit Granada. Our guide, Marta, was exceptional. She was funny, engaging and VERY well informed. She made this trip well worth our time, and left us with some great recommendations for dinner!

Albaizin and Sacromonte walking tour with Mario!
We did this tour with Sixthrills with Mario as our guide. He was a wealth of historical information, good English, and very open to all our questions. The albaicin is a maze of cobbled streets that he navigated with lots of commentary and explanations. The added bonus was that we did NOT get lost! Mario brought us to a number of beautiful view points. We continued to climb to see the caves in Sacromonte. Be aware there are lots of stairs and incline. We were lucky to be the only couple of this tour so Mario was able to accommodate to our tempo and ability. Thank you for a great tour!

A Visit to a Beautiful Area
The Albaicin and Sacromonte walking tour is a must for a visit to Granada. The views of the city from this location are incredible. Our tour guide was Josh. He was very knowledgable about the history of the area and his English was excellent. The only issue was that he walked very fast. We asked him if he could slow down a bit. This tour has many stairs and going up hill was very strenuous. You really have to be in great shape to do it. One of my friends has compromised lungs and it was very difficult for her. Going a bit more slowly would have helped. He did wait for us, however at each stop. He did not leave us where we left from, although it was close. We knew where we were but there were a couple of young gals who had no idea. All in all, it was worth the time and money.

WARNING DO NOT BOOK WITH PANCHO TOURS
Recently booked three hour private tour of Alhambra via Get your Guide. This was €577. Money instantly deducted from account ....followed by confirmation emails both from Get your guide and Pancho tours. We then booked travel and accomodation at Granada . On arrival night before tour they sent email n rang to say they don’t have any tickets ! ! We wouldn’t have altered our travel if this was known to us . We missed out on trying with other companies. Missed out on other activities. This behaviour of selling a service without actually having tickets is unprofessional..,disgusting. DO NOT DO BOOK WITH PANCHO TOURS

WARNING - do not use PANCHO TOURS
I like others have fallen foul of the unprofessional and deceitful behaviour of this company. I booked via Get your Guide a three hour private tour of the Alhambra We then made travel plans including transport and accommodation. That evening we get an email then ph call saying they haven’t got tickets,, €571 !! They should not offer service without ticket. We now have missed out using more professional company. Missed out on original plans. And they have done this multiple times to their people. DO NOT USE PANCHO TOURS.

    educational and fun
Our tour guide was Josh and he was extremely awesome. Not only did Josh make good jokes and know his history, but he also gave tips on certain places to go to in Granada. The thing I liked most was that you could ask him anything about some points of history and he would give a solid and detailed answer to clarify anything you wanted to know more about, despite the short breaks he had to catch his breath, he was more than happy to maintain a conversation. That didn't go unnoticed! Thank you so much! We truly fell in love with the city thanks to you, despite our first bad impression. Now we know more about the city and many things have become clear.

Lots of walking and even more information
This tour has two options--a two-hour tour and a four-hour tour. We took the four-hour tour which is somewhat long. The tour includes access to the main attractions which is very good since it is cheaper than paying individual entrance fees. In addition, you have guided tours inside the attractions so you get lots of information and you see things you might miss on a self-guided tour. The difficulty is that the four-hour tour is very long and there are really no breaks for bathrooms or drinks so the two-hour tour might be a good option for most people. There is a lot of walking and it can be tiring if you are not used to walking. The guide was excellent which made the time worthwhile. The tour is not appropriate for young children or people with walking disabilities or problems. There are many cobblestones and uneven stairs. Bring water and a hat.

    Great Private Tour
Arranged directly for a private tour with them - The tour price is WAY cheaper if you bought the tickets already. We are driving there earlier on that day so getting the Alhambra tickets secured beforehand is very helpful for booking a tour in Granada. Most (or at least the companies I've searched) can't guarantee a specific time slot for Alhambra visits and you definitely don't want to risk it. (Crazy busy attraction!!) The booking process was easy - just some Email exchange to get it done. On our day of travel, we walked all the way to meet the guide at the entrance. Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable, friendly and talked about all the stories around the palace, the architecture, culture and history. Her comments make the place so different for our day in Granada. As an arranged tour, we are also able to enter through the group entrance, which saved us significant time in queue. Great! A walking tour for Alhambra and Albaicin in July weather is hard, our guide is very friendly arranging breaks and recommend a taxi to the top of Albaicin to reduce the walking needed. Very good approach for a private tour. It was a great day in Granada!
