About
-The Cartuja de Granada Monastery is a highly recommended visit if you visit the city.
The guided tour will help you see and understand this place of isolation of monks, active in Granada from the 16th century until the exclaustration of the year 1836.
Knowing the origin of the Cartuja Order, the regulations that its founder drafted in the 11th century, the austere way of life of its monks, their spiritual search far from the material and the mundane ...
The contrast between the austere common rooms and the decorative exuberance of the Church, the Tabernacle and the Sacristy, a masterpiece of Spanish Baroque, where the view finds no space to rest: stucco on the walls, marbles, sculpture, painting, is striking. Inlay ... An authentic sensory experience where you can enjoy works by such renowned artists as José de Mora, Pedro Atanasio Bocanegra, Antonio Palomino, José Risueño ... who knew how to transmit spirituality, the emotion of the religious mystery.

- padvisor20200 contributionsGreat visit with a wonderful guideWe booked the tour without having tickets, so we had to scramble to find last minute tickets. Almost impossible, but we did learn that the Granada Card 72hour includes tickets. We then had to change our tour date and Sandra was pleasant and accommodating. It worked out great. The tour was good, she arrived well before our meeting time, she definitely had some deep knowledge of the Alhambra and was able to answer all of our questions. I would recommend her as a tour guide.Written October 23, 2022
- Aventurera7130 contributionsGorgeous tour with Sandra, an excellent guideWe have visited the Alhambra and the Generalife with Sandra who is an amazing guide. She knows everything about this wonderful place, everything you can ask, be it in English or Spanish. She told us many interesting stories and she showed us beautiful details and corners in the buildings and gardens. My little daughter was challenged to play Sherlock Holmes with a photo quiz and was excited to find the answers. It was a lovely visit for the whole family with a great guide!!!Written February 14, 2022

- D381GMhelenp0 contributionsFantastic guide, magical placeWe spent a wonderful morning at the Alhambra with our fantastic local, english-speaking guide Sandra. She went at the perfect pace and was very mindful of our comfort and mobility considerations throughout. Sandra is a very knowledgeable and engaging guide and the many stories and legends she told us along the way really brought this magical place alive - we were talking about it for days afterwards! A really unforgettable visit, I can't recommend Sandra enough!Written October 2, 2020

Quem visita Granada não deve perder.
É fascinante.
Rico em arte sacra e com pormenores minuciosos e únicos de trabalho das suas paredes que nem em Roma encontrei.
