      The Alhambra
Stop: 3 hours - Admission included
The Alhambra, located on the Sabica hill, is an Andalusian palatine city. Its name comes from the reddish colour of its walls, coming from the clay of the land itself (Al-Hamra in Arabic). It is formed by a group of palaces, gardens and fortress where there was a citadel within the city of Granada itself, its main function was to serve as accommodation for the monarch and the court of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada. There are also Christian settlements, such as the palace of Charles V and the church of Santa Maria, built on top of the old mosque. It is one of the most visited monuments in Spain and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1984. Enjoy the visit with an official guide.

Wish I had read these reviews before buying
I thought I was buying form the official Alhambra site so was surprised to see my top yours send me emails afterwards. Our package did not include access to the place (nor was it offered). I think we ended paying 43 euros for a ticket that would have cost 10 euros had we not been fooled by the website. Yes you do receive an audio guide but something similar would have been available for download from official sources. We also headed straight to the Alhambra only to find out we had to go down the hill again to the tour shop and then back up the hill again………..

      Rip off merchants.
Rip off merchants. Although you think you’re on the official website you’re not. Charged us €198 for tickets worth €36. Unfortunately we only found this out after we’d arrived. Plus you have to collect your tickets & audio device off the Alhambra Palace complex. We tried to find it for well over an hour. Even paid a local taxi driver to take us there, even he didn’t know. Eventually we found a kind lady in the main info office who suggested they email the tickets to us. Wasn’t ideal because we had to do without the audio. When we eventually arrived at Nasrid palace an hour & half later they refused us entry because we’d missed our 11.00 slot. Complete waste of a day, an hour to get there. Most of what we did see you can just walk into for free. Please, please look at Trip Advisor & other sites before booking with these con merchants.

Horrible service after paying/ No tickets or help.
We did not get the tickets . You and your local service provider are horrible. I will never ever recommend any Cordoba trips or activities with TripAdvisor or it’s affiliates to any of our friends and family

      Alhambra guided tour
The guide was excellent. The audio worked well, very glad we booked this on our trip. We would return again and spend some time at the Alhambra before the tour.

      Couldn’t be worse
Couldn’t be worse. BAD, BAD, BAD. We got to the start of the tour early but were told they overbook and there was no space for us. We were turned away, along with another woman. SOL.

      COMPLETE SCAM
COMPLETE SCAM. Please read the reviews before booking anything with this company. They make it seem like you are booking on an official website that then funnels you to their tour website. It makes you feel like you’re booking for a certain date, but then gives you the next available. When you call, no one answers the phone and they just send you vague emails stating it’s the policy of the monument, which is completely not true. We are filing a claim with our credit card company.

      Wonderful experience
We had a visit booked for the Nasrid Palaces at 10PM, something that has been on my list for ages. This was an unguided individual tour which allowed us to wander at our own pace. We had visited the palaces the day before but it was a completely different experience at night. Spent around 90 minutes walking round and the lights and shadows bringing out depth of the plasterwork designs. We also seemed to notice things that we didn't see yesterday, such as some of the inlaid ceilings. It certainly helped being less busy. The weather was just perfect too, no wind and totally clear so the reflections in the ponds were like a mirror. Sadly the photography on my DSLR was not successful as it was too dark for handheld shots and I didn't want to lean against 700 year old plasterwork just to get a picture so the photos are just iPhone ones. For the €10 ticket fee this was an absolute bargain.

      Educationable, beautiful & fulfilling.
Personally one of the most interesting tours I have ever taken. The history is very deep and the beauty is unmistakable. A knowledgeable guide really made it the best

      The tour is not recommended
Alhambra is beautiful and worth a visit, but regardsless we expected more from the guided tour. He was mostly walking and talking at the same time, so it was difficult to listen to and understand what he talked about. It was more like rushing through to get finished. We used a long time to start and enter so it only lasted 1 hours and 40 minutes, even though it was supposed to last 2-4 hours (4 hours if Nasrid is included). The weather was bad with lots of rain, so that can be a reason to make the tour shorter, but the guide was still not enthusastic or engaged in telling stories. Besides the english was not that easy to understand. I have had much better experiences with different Free Tours earlier where the guides are interested in the experience of the people. For the price of the tour I expected more.

      Fraud
This company is a fraud. They operate under the alhambra-entradas.org website and "pretend" to be an official tickets' seller for the Alhambra. Even an experienced concierge of our (5-star) hotel in Spain was fooled. What you receive instead of an official Alhambra ticket is a 50 euro city pass, which does include the Alhambra visit, but is only worth it if you want to visit other sites in Granada and have 2 days for it. They seem to charge another 35 euro for an audio guide which is absolutely useless (a much better version is available for free at Alhambra). Needless to say they ignore all complaints. Do not use.

      Terrible Terrible Terrible
The people associated with this company need putting in jail. This company is a SCAM and they pretend to be the official website. I have paid for 2 tickets and have received NOTHING. I have been completely scammed by them and I will not get able to visit The Alhambra because of their lies and illegal practices. I urge you to beware of this appalling company
