Hamdi was an Incredibly knowledgeable and courteous guide who spoke impeccable English. He made my private tour interesting with his impressive knowledge of the Alhambra, Islamic writing, and Islamic, Christian and Jewish history. He presented the information in an engaging, interactive way, and told stories that brought the Alhambra to life for me.
Also, I got the most out of my time in the Alhambra because Hamdi knew how to avoid the crowds and swiftly navigate the site. We moved at the pace 100% set by me. I was able to stop for the photos I wanted without ever feeling rushed.
Everyone who worked at the Alhambra or in the area (hotel clerks, ticket takers, shopkeepers and the other guides) seemed to know and like Hamdi, and everything went very smoothly.
I observed Hamdi help a man who lost his group, honor the queue system when others might not have done so, and pick up a piece of litter during our tour, all small acts that indicate a person of high character.
I highly recommend.

We were in Grenada with our daughter to celebrate her birthday. Our tour of the Alhambra with Antonio was the icing on the cake . He is a charming and excellent guide, clearly passionate about his subject and very informative. Although we have visited the Alhambra before, we thought we learnt a lot more this time and the size of the group made it possible to ask questions. The beautiful clear, sunny January weather enhanced the beauty of the buildings. Timing was excellent and Antonio was particularly caring and helpful as I have problems with my knees and he was always quick to point out a place to sit down and rest. A really wonderful experience and one I will recommend to friends and family

What made our experience so exceptional was being lead by our guide, Guillermo. He was not only exceptionally knowledgeable, articulate and friendly, he also paid great attention to navigating us around crowds of larger groups, but also within that, where best even to stand in any given room or area to maximize the impact of the experience. His enthusiasm for cultural phenomenon and history was infectious and swept us into the rich depths of the Alhambra magic. We left feeling not only enriched by the place but grateful to have been lead by such a special and thoughtful individual.
Beyond Guillermo’s role, the booking process with Granavision was straightforward and the process at the meeting point was relatively smooth.

A fantastic tour guide, Jennifer and highly recommended for her knowledge and explanations.
However we specifically paid for a small group tour of 10 or less people and there were 14 people in our tour group. This is the fault of the management company and should have been split into 2 groups

This must have been my third or fourth guided tour of the Alhambra. But this one, by Antonio Villalobos, under Granavision is the best one ever.
I booked a private guided tour for our family of 5 and we were assigned Antonio Villalobos.
He showed us around the Alhambra starting from the original gate. He had a very good narrative to explain the history and layout of the palace. He spoke very good English and it was very apparent that he had a good grasp of the history of Spain, and of the world, for that matter. We were all amazed about the information he knew.
Antonio was also very friendly but firm. He allowed us to rest but he made sure we followed the itinerary.
Private tours are more expensive than regular group tours. But our private group of 5 were able to ask questions and engage in a discussion with Antonio, which might not be possible with a bigger group.
For those visiting Granada, it is not enough to see the Alhambra by yourself. A guide, like Antonio, can make the experience more thrilling, informative and fun.
Thank you, Antonio Villalobos, for sharing with us your Granada.

Totally worth the price even on the only rainy day - would do it again if I’m ever back in Granada! Our tour guide was Daniel Grammatico and he was absolutely amazing. He knew so much about the Alhambra and it’s history and architecture. He even translated some of the Arabic inscriptions and poems in the interior designs for us. We skipped the line at the entrance and every single other points of entry was facilitated. Just make sure to arrive 15 ish mins early to avoid any confusions.

We took a private tour with our family of 4 and were guided by "Gus". We were welcomed at Granavision correctly en could start the tour quickly. Gus has really a lot of knowledge about everything we visited. He listened to us and adapted the tour to our wishes. His Spanish accent in his English storytelling was amusing and he has a good sense of humour. Perfect to skip the lines, and to move on where desired, so we could visit just the places we wanted within a resonable time. We would certainly recommand this private tour!

It is a fair old walk in the heat, so folks should be aware that walking, heat and sore feet are the downside, the upside is the Palace - Islamic in all its wondrous ways. The Taj Mahal and Red Fort in India (maybe more out there) are Mughal, carry the same similar decoration and architect style as the Alhambra. Worth a visit - YES.

Very glad that we booked a tour, as the Alhambra only allows a limited amount of guests per day so it was comforting to know we would be able to go without the at-the-door tickets selling out. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we got to see all of the complex/palaces and the entire gardens too. Fantastic experience!
