We did this tour with our 4 year old daughter (who wants to be a detective!) and she loved it. It is very well organised and planned. Matthias was a great host and explained the instructions very well. There was a quite a lot of walking so make sure you plan some ice cream stops to refuel! We did this on our first morning in Malaga and is a great way to orientate yourself around the City.

I have been planning school trips to Spain for a few years now. This year, I travelled with 27 students to Malaga and continued the tradition of introducing my students to the city with a fun Treasure Hunt activity. Our students had a fantastic time while getting to know the city’s highlights thanks to this perfectly organized activity by Malaga City Adventures. Myself and my partner did the Malaga crime investigation tour today. We decided to do it because we also did the Malaga city advanture treasure hunt, run by the same lovely people. If you are wondering/pondering/considering booking this tour my advice is go ahead and book -- you won't be disappointed. I am a recent resident of Malaga (originally from the UK) and now I live here I have many people visiting me and Malaga City Adventures is the one experience that I have come to realise is one that everyone will enjoy, from 8 to 80! Over New Year I had some adults and one 8 year old to entertain, we joined the Treasure Hunt (another must-do!) but for now my review is about the Crime Investigation Tour and for this I was the sole adult with my 13 year old niece. We both had an amazing time. The clues are pitched just right (although I probably wouldn't have made it through without her - she is super smart!). We discussed it together afterwords and agreed that the time, love, care and attention taken made it a joyful experience -- that's not something you come across too often. It is a really fun way to explore the city and I learned much along the way despite being resident here for nearly a year. Thank you guys -- I'll be back :)

A good way of seeing the historic streets with children in tow as they really enjoyed using the compass and finding the clues. Not good value for money though as only one GPS tracker and clue book between 9 of us.

We hunted for treasure on a beautiful day in November. Javi met us and provided all the tools we needed to begin our adventure. He was available by phone (provided) to give hints when we were stumped. This is a great way to explore the city. There are so many narrow, winding streets. We would have been lost without the tour to help us get around. This is such a fun way to explore Malaga. We would recommend anyone who wants an adventure start the hunt in Malaga.

The tour was great. Matthias was very nice and welcoming and explained how the tour worked! We then went off on our own, at our own pace to solve the puzzles using a GPS device to find our way. Because of the order of our puzzles we did a lot of walking round the city and this way saw even more sites than those included. There was no waiting around for other people and no trying to listen, bunched in in a crowded space. Would definitely recommend!

Great fun way to see the town as well as accessible to all ages. Worth checking it out. The hints are not too complicated or too easy so everyone can enjoy.

We did a free walking tour in Malaga with Ana. Highly recommended. Ana’s English is excellent and she is passionate about her home town. She spent more time than scheduled and was very interactive with the group.

We had a wonderfull day with our group of two adults and four youngsters. Starting with Michael at the meeting point where we got a good introduction and all the stuff we needed to go on treasure hunt by GPS in Malaga. We saw a lot of special places, nice litte streets and art in a active way. The hunt was not too difficult but we all enjoyed it a lot. We were suprised about the treasure! Thanks a lot, we had a great day.

Four of us did the crime investigation tour, wandering around Malaga with a GPS device to find clues to solve a murder. It was a fantastic fun way to see the city, the clues were all over the historic city centre so we saw plenty of the city on our investigation. Matthias was very friendly and helpful - we had to contact him once about a clue that we couldn’t find and he sent it to us. The clues were pitched just right, not too easy or too difficult, and some even came with an added surprise! A fantastic way spend 3 hours (including a few breaks for drinks along the way!), and a great way to see the city.
