- 178brigitte0 contributionsUnforgettable Bachelor Party Adventure in Malaga! We recently organized a Bachelor Party in Malaga for our close friend, and the highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the thrilling treasure hunt experience! Set against the charming backdrop of Malaga's streets, this adventure was a perfect blend of excitement, teamwork, and exploration. From the very beginning, the communication with the organizers was seamless. They tailored the experience to our group's preferences and ensured that every detail was well taken care of. Our guide, a charismatic and knowledgeable individual named Alex, welcomed us with enthusiasm and explained the rules of the treasure hunt. The treasure hunt kicked off with a creative and engaging clue that led us through the heart of Malaga's old town. Each clue we solved not only brought us closer to the ultimate treasure but also revealed fascinating historical facts about the city. It was a wonderful mix of mental challenges and physical exploration. As we ventured through the narrow alleys and vibrant squares, we got a chance to truly soak in the local culture. From picturesque hidden corners to bustling marketplaces, the treasure hunt led us to places we would have never discovered on our own. What truly set this experience apart was the camaraderie it fostered within our group. The teamwork required to decipher clues, the friendly competition to be the first to find each hidden gem, and the shared moments of triumph created unforgettable memories that we'll cherish forever. And when we finally found the treasure, the feeling of accomplishment was beyond words! The icing on the cake was the treasure itself - not just a physical reward but the memories we made along the way. The organizers had arranged for a photo session capturing our joyous moments during the hunt, ensuring that we'd always have a tangible keepsake from this epic adventure. As the sun began to set over the Mediterranean, we gathered for a celebratory toast, reminiscing about the clues, challenges, and the laughter that echoed through the streets of Malaga that day. It was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable Bachelor Party weekend. If you're looking for an innovative and unforgettable experience for your Bachelor Party in Malaga, this treasure hunt is an absolute must! It's a unique way to bond, explore, and create memories that will be cherished by everyone lucky enough to participate. Huge thanks to Alex and the team for making this Bachelor Party truly exceptional. We can't wait to plan our next adventure with you!Written August 17, 2023
- M3831AUjoey0 contributionsGreat tour for familiesWe did this tour with our 4 year old daughter (who wants to be a detective!) and she loved it. It is very well organised and planned. Matthias was a great host and explained the instructions very well. There was a quite a lot of walking so make sure you plan some ice cream stops to refuel! We did this on our first morning in Malaga and is a great way to orientate yourself around the City.Written July 3, 2023
- marcelacL7684BH0 contributionsTreasure Hunt: Getting to Know the City. A Fun Experience for a big School GroupI have been planning school trips to Spain for a few years now. This year, I travelled with 27 students to Malaga and continued the tradition of introducing my students to the city with a fun Treasure Hunt activity. Our students had a fantastic time while getting to know the city’s highlights thanks to this perfectly organized activity by Malaga City Adventures. This was the third time we worked with Matthias and Elizabeth, and as usual, they delivered fun and culture to an eager group of teenagers. Organisation and communication were swift. Highly recommended! 😊Written May 8, 2023
- EYggy0 contributionsEnjoyable. Allows some activity & puzzling but not too muchA novel way to spend an afternoon in Malaga. Kept us absorbed & active & was just the right length. We stopped for horchata 1/2 way through. Thankyou MatteusWritten January 20, 2023
- hollycY9400PM0 contributionsThrilling!Myself and my partner did the Malaga crime investigation tour today. We decided to do it because we also did the Malaga city advanture treasure hunt, run by the same lovely people. It was once again engaging and exceeded expectations. A great experience. Fun for all ages!! Thank you Ellie and Mattias!Written May 29, 2022

- artistsguide0 contributionsUnmissable! If you are wondering/pondering/considering booking this tour my advice is go ahead and book -- you won't be disappointed. I am a recent resident of Malaga (originally from the UK) and now I live here I have many people visiting me and Malaga City Adventures is the one experience that I have come to realise is one that everyone will enjoy, from 8 to 80! Over New Year I had some adults and one 8 year old to entertain, we joined the Treasure Hunt (another must-do!) but for now my review is about the Crime Investigation Tour and for this I was the sole adult with my 13 year old niece. We both had an amazing time. The clues are pitched just right (although I probably wouldn't have made it through without her - she is super smart!). We discussed it together afterwords and agreed that the time, love, care and attention taken made it a joyful experience -- that's not something you come across too often. It is a really fun way to explore the city and I learned much along the way despite being resident here for nearly a year. Thank you guys -- I'll be back :)Written March 7, 2020
- Stephanie H0 contributionsGreat fun!A good way of seeing the historic streets with children in tow as they really enjoyed using the compass and finding the clues. Not good value for money though as only one GPS tracker and clue book between 9 of us.Written February 24, 2020

- dedecker4650 contributionsFun way to see MalagaWe hunted for treasure on a beautiful day in November. Javi met us and provided all the tools we needed to begin our adventure. He was available by phone (provided) to give hints when we were stumped. This is a great way to explore the city. There are so many narrow, winding streets. We would have been lost without the tour to help us get around. This is such a fun way to explore Malaga. We would recommend anyone who wants an adventure start the hunt in Malaga.Written November 29, 2019
- StephenC12970 contributionsGreat way to tour the city without the crowds! The tour was great. Matthias was very nice and welcoming and explained how the tour worked! We then went off on our own, at our own pace to solve the puzzles using a GPS device to find our way. Because of the order of our puzzles we did a lot of walking round the city and this way saw even more sites than those included. There was no waiting around for other people and no trying to listen, bunched in in a crowded space. Would definitely recommend!Written October 31, 2019
- Lucy H0 contributionsIncredible way to see MalagaGreat fun way to see the town as well as accessible to all ages. Worth checking it out. The hints are not too complicated or too easy so everyone can enjoy.Written October 13, 2019

- hugob28830 contributionsA great way to explore MalagaWe had a wonderfull day with our group of two adults and four youngsters. Starting with Michael at the meeting point where we got a good introduction and all the stuff we needed to go on treasure hunt by GPS in Malaga. We saw a lot of special places, nice litte streets and art in a active way. The hunt was not too difficult but we all enjoyed it a lot. We were suprised about the treasure! Thanks a lot, we had a great day.Written August 14, 2019
- Johnnyboy010 contributionsCrime investigation tourFour of us did the crime investigation tour, wandering around Malaga with a GPS device to find clues to solve a murder. It was a fantastic fun way to see the city, the clues were all over the historic city centre so we saw plenty of the city on our investigation. Matthias was very friendly and helpful - we had to contact him once about a clue that we couldn’t find and he sent it to us. The clues were pitched just right, not too easy or too difficult, and some even came with an added surprise! A fantastic way spend 3 hours (including a few breaks for drinks along the way!), and a great way to see the city.Written August 5, 2019

The treasure hunt of Malaga City Adventures was absolutely fantastic! We discovered the city in a whole new and exciting way. The puzzles were creative and really challenging, so it was both fun and challenging.
The organization was top, and the personal contact with our guide made the experience even more special. It’s been incredible fun getting to know hidden corners and exciting stories of Malaga – even as someone who’s been here before!
We would do it again anytime and can recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Malaga differently. Perfect for groups, couples or families. A real highlight of our holiday! 😊

The idea behind this tour is simply awesome! Explore the city on a fun treasure hunt (about 2.5 hours for 4 km) and learn exciting and interesting details. Especially for fans of geocaching, this activity is an absolute highlight – you will love it!

The treasure hunt through Malaga is an unforgettable experience and a must-do for every visitor to Malaga. The tour takes you not only to well-known places in Malaga, but also to more secret corners. Fun is in the first place and along the way you learn interesting and curious things about this great city. Matthias and his colleagues are absolutely passionate about what they do. I have already done the tour twice (once with my family and once with my students). Any time again! An absolute recommendation from my side! Thank you Matthias!

It was a great way to see the beautiful old town of Malaga and get our bearings. Having a 2 year old we really liked that the tour is self-guided allowing you to do it at your own pace. It's probably an hour to an hour and a half of walking but with stops to solve puzzles, get ice cream, drag toddler along the shiny pavements this will add to that.
Mattias has put together a great tour with lots of thoughtful touches and personal recommendations from him and his wife. I'd recommend it to everyone but feel like older children would get the most out of using the sat nav and solving the puzzles.
We really enjoyed it. Thank you Mattias.

My husband and our 4 young children had a great time at the treasure hunt! We planned it on our first full day in Málaga... which got us out into the city and allowed us to see all the areas of the city and take note on where we’d like to return throughout our week there. Our tour guide was very helpful and the kids enjoyed finding each location and figuring out the little puzzles throughout the tour. Since it is a private tour you can go at your own pace... stop for lunch or a snack... it is very laid back! I would highly recommend to anyone - including people with small children.

Really nice way to explore the city! It takes you places where you wouldn't normally go as some parts are more off the tourist track. The treasure hunt was fun and lightly challenging. Especially finding your way by gps was fun! Also, the booklet we got for the hunt gave some more background information on the city and different stops which was really nice.

What a brilliant mornings entertainment. Tim was first class setting us up and explaining the treasure hunt rules. We set off just after 10.00am and my 13 year old was in charge of the GPS for the whole route. A brilliant way to see the sites and find your way around the historic centre of Malaga. My son absolutely loved it. We would highly recommend this for families and/or couples.
Well done Tim and Matthias. Superb.

Our adventure guide Javi gave us a warm welcome at the meeting point. Equipped with the treasure hunt material we started to explore Malaga and discover the stations and riddles on our way to the treasure chest. We walked a bit less than 5km, we have seen the Cathedral, the market, the Picasso Museum and many more marvellous places of the Old Town. The tour for itself is a treasure already, but we even could open a real treasure chest at the end of our experience.
Thank you Javi and the rest of the team for the wonderful morning we had. When we are back in Malaga we definitely will try the other adventure!
