          The really helpful lady Elena
We went into the office on Costa Del Sol to find out about the trips to Morocco. We spoke to a lovely lady Elena. She explained all the tours available, the cost etc. Elena was very very helpful, friendly and was always smiling. A very pleasant experience and will be back to book a tour on the near future. Very lovely lady

This is really a case where I should have read the reviews and not gone ahead with this so called trip. It was not obvious where to get this train. The train is supposed to seat 4 people in a row. If you like being a sardine then do this. 3 people in a row is ok. You will see 2 people in a row and they have their bags on seats. Hilarious! We got on the train at point 8 and straightaway I was regretting doing this. I felt every bump and jolt from what must have been a loose connection between our trailer and the train. I should have taken travel sickness pills. There is a commentary, but it is difficult to see anything. I was too busy looking for the sick bag. Wait for the climb up to Sacromonto. The train struggles and the one before us had broken down on the hill. I was going to suggest that we all got out and pushed. On reflection the entertainment was not the surroundings but the total disorganisation when it came to letting people on the train at stops. This was the only consolation in wasting around 2 hours of my life.

          Plan your trip carefully beforehand!
While the actual tren turistica was truly lovely, finding where it started proved problematic. I partly blame myself as I presumed that getting to the centre would be near at hand and that there would be signs about the hop on hop off clearly displayed. I was wrong on both counts. The bus station is a 45 min walk and we couldn’t see any signs.

Extremely useless and rather annoying trip!
Hello, my wife and I bought our tickets online at your shop for today (2024-05-27) and took a round-trip starting at the stop 8. We are extremely disappointed about several aspects of this tour: 1. When we bought the ticket online, it was nowhere stated that we would have to pay for the headset for the audio-guide. To our surprise we had to pay 1.5€ each for the headsets upon entering the bus. 2. One of the headsets did not work probably (sound in just one ear). 3. Most of the time the audio track was not synchronous with the attractions described. In the middle of the trip the language changed to English although German was selected. The music in-between the spoken description was annoying!! 4. The bus did not go to the stops 4, 5 and 6 thus omitting one of the most interesting parts (Albaicin, Sacromomte). Summary: The trip was a big disappointment and we can not recommend it to anyone.

Ronda OK, guided tour can improve
You can start complaining about the bus ride towards Ronda that takes too long because of the many stops to pick up passengers. But that is something that counts for every tour organizer unless you book a private tour. Something that could improve is the guided tour by a local guide. We first visited the bull ring and there we had a lengthy explanation about the bull fight, but we didn’t get to do a complete visit. Then to the New Bridge. Again a lengthy explanation and then my wife and I gave up and decided to do the rest of the visit on our own.

Incredibly rushed, consider getting train instead
Cordoba is a beautiful city with cobbled streets and so much to explore, unfortunately the time constraints of the tour left us feeling very rushed. We began our day with a few hours picking up other passangers (which we knew to expect) and then were on our way. The tour guide (Rafael) spoke multiple languages and had interesting information about the journey as well as and introduction to Cordoba before we arrived. We managed to arrive early and were quickly rushed to our meeting point and a very speedy pace. We had some free time before being met by our tour guide for the cathedral. There was a lot of confusion trying to split 2 coach loads of people into 3 tour groups (Frech, German and English) and the tour guides were visibly getting frustrated with each other. Our mosque and cathedral guide was (Victoria?) She was very enthusiastic and full of information but I did struggle to hear much of what she was saying through the headphones as I kept tuning into other languages. Upon exiting the mosque/cathedral we began our city tour, we then were dragged from street to street in a manic fashion, we gave up listening through the headphones because the guide was out of range at this point for many of us. There were a few who were struggling due to health issues that were completely left behind, so we hung back to make sure the group stayed together as they got lost multiple times. The guide was nowhere in sight and seemed surprised at the end of the tour when we turned up. Then we had just enough free time for dinner before we piled back on the bus. Overall it was okay, I understand the company wanting speed but they should show a little more concern for there customers. Should have been an option for us to sit out on the city tour if we wanted to.

          Total Waste of Money!!
Don't waste your money on this so-called train!!! We purchased two-day tickets before we left home, but when we went to use them we were unable to. On the first day they didn't even have a stop at the Alhambra at all and we watched two trains pass by without stopping. On the second day we stood for a total of nearly 2 hours at a city stop before giving up. When the first one came along there were 20 people waiting and only 5 seats on the train, so most of us had to wait for the next one. When that eventually arrived, it was full. In the end, rather than waste most of the day waiting at the train stop, we gave up and got taxis to where we wanted to go. It appears that they are very successful at selling tickets for this train, but do not have the capacity to cope with the numbers of seats they've sold. It wasn't even peak season when we were there: I'd hate to think how it is when it's really busy. I purchased our tickets through the "Tiquets" website and when I complained to them, after verifying our details they immediately offered a refund, which is very good. This so-called tourist train is a rip-off and you shouldn't consider using it.

          So Poor
You hardly see anything on this tour if you are even able to get on one of the buses. We went to three different stop locations, nope all full and had to go to a fourth before we finally got a spot. So we finally felt relived to have gotten on the bus, but alas we couldn’t wait to get off because you hardly see anything. A complete waste of time!!

          Enjoy the wait.
Tried the hop on hop off bus in Granada, but was sadly disappointed. When the train arrived, we had to sit in different cars due to the crowding, the vehicle was very rough starting and stopping, and every stop we passed had a queue of more than a dozen waiting to get on. We didn't get very much information on notable places enroute, and got even less opportunity to photo them. Basically, we overpaid for a ride to the Alhambra then walked back down. Don't bother, get a taxi with a few others. They need to add additional trains to accommodate the passengers. Will be a mess come tourist season.

Too rushed. We could not stop to check out the canyons. Constantly told we weren't allowed to stop to see what we were walking over

          Attrape nigaud
Here is the worst service I have ever seen! We bought tickets online, download the QR code. At 10:30 we arrive at the station paseos de los tristes but no space to hop on! The driver advises to walk till Plaza Nueva. Here even though we had tickets and QR code, you still need to queue (for a llooooonnggg time) to validate your tickets (with the ppl without tickets) for the staff to print the same QR code on paper (sustainability?!). In the morning, we had to wait from 10:30 for 1h30 without being able to take a train. Lunch time is important for little one! In the afternoon… after the nap, it was much better only 1h15 wait! We bought a day ticket but let’s be honest only few ppl hop off so it is a utopia to get the most of it. Last but not least, the audio guide was out of service… I do not recommend at all this experience.

You have to take your own ear plugs
Disappointing to not have ear plugs provided so no audio ! Very rough ride - sore back from the irregular jolting . We did tour the city and had 3 stops in and around Alhambra but the fact there was no commentary as advertised was a missed opportunity.

          Don’t bother!!!!!
Awful. Waited over an hour to get on the 3rd bus as first 2 were full. Even then I didn’t get to sit with my husband and completely squashed in with strangers. The earphones cost an extra €3 and didn’t even work. Seats hard and uncomfortable whilst being rattled around in the bus. Wasted our morning waiting around for this bus and you really don’t get to see much along the way unless you get off (but we didn’t want to wait another hour) It’s a waste of time and money. My advice is skip it and catch the regular bus or take a taxi.

          Beautiful nature and spectacular views
Coming from Norway we are quite used to spectacular nature and views, but Caminito del Rey is supercool! The canyon is narrow and it's cool to be walking high above along the mountain side. Looking up you will also see huge vultures soaring through the air. It's a fairly easy walk. Don't need any experience, but bring a good amount of water as it get's quite hot. The platform that you walk on is perfectly safe and stable, almost as walking on a road. You will not get an extreme sport feeling, but you can feast your eyes on beautiful nature. Julia Travel is trying to hard to be cost efficient with the arranged transport as the bus picks up people at way too many places. From Marbella the trip could take an hour, but it took 3 hours. Also the radios, more specifically the earbuds, are of too poor quality. We struggled understanding everything the guide talked about. Cred to the guide as she mentioned a lot of interesting stuff, but she also pushed the speed a little bit too much. So much that you can't really enjoy the trip as much as I'd liked (taking pictures, enjoying the views). Will absolutely recommend this trip, but it would have been even better if the radio and the transport issues had been better.

          Gibralter from Malaga bus tour
Once we arrived at Gibralter the organization and tours were excellent. My only “but” is we picked up the bus in Malaga. A 138 km journey took 3.5-4 hours with 15 pickups at each hotel for each guest. Yet the Malaga folks all had to assemble at one spot. And another 3.5 hours home. If you are from Malaga- rent a car, drive direct and book the tours to start onsite. The tour guide Edith explained everything very clearly and was lovely. I’d recommend doing a day at Gibralter with a tour but not the bus from Malaga.

The service and cleanliness couldn't be better. Zurich Airport (where you can sometimes feel unwelcome) could learn a thing or two from this.
