Absolutely excellent. Ana is a perfect host! The tour went ahead even though we were the only people who had booked. Ana checked our likes and dislikes and ordered tapas she thought we should enjoy- everything was delicious. We also got recommendations for other places and dishes to eat in both Cádiz and Jerez. If you like food and want to eat like a local, I would highly recommend.

I paid for the food walking tour in Cadiz for two people. It was advertised as four places to eat tapas and drink different kinds of local alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages. When the guide arrived, we were told that because it was high season, we would only be going to two places with one tapa and one drink per person in each of the two places. I’ve taken many food walking tours in a variety of countries and cities and this was the worst. Don’t take this company’s food walking tour.

My review has nothing to do with the Cadiz food tour and everything to go with Panchotours. I booked the food tour 2 days ago with Panchotours and received no email or text as confirmation, did not know where the meet location was. After 12 hours I emailed, rung and text the numbers provided on the website. All were either unobtainable, did not send or received no reply. My last email to them was I wanted to cancel the tour which was within the cancellation timeframe. My assumption was it was a scam website and so cut my loses and booked thro Viator a similar tour. Went to the meet location tonight, met the very lovely Anna from Cadizifornia who told me were waiting for another person, who had booked thro Panchotours and funnily enough had the same name as me! So I had paid for the tour twice. They clearly do exist, but their communication is awful and I would personally advise you avoid them !

We had a wonderful guide who was very good at sharing her enthusiasm for Cádiz cuisine with the group. Only 4 of us on the tour which meant we had lots of discussion with the guide about life in Cádiz and Espana.

WARNING: This company may no longer exist. Do not book. I booked a food tour last night in Cadiz. No one showed up. I called their customer service number and emailed them many times. No one every answers the phone and there is no way to leave a message. I tried Whatsapp as well. Even after all of that they have not responded yet today. I also tried to send them a note via their website, but it will not allow me to send it.

We booked a Tour with Pancho tours and paid for it in February. Imagine our horror when the day before the tour in May we wrote to ask where to meet them and received back a notice that they canceled our tour due to logistical issues. They promised to refund the money in 5 to 7 days leaving us stranded with no plans on the one day we would’ve gotten to see Seville from Kadis, do not book with this group. They’re using your money as float and canceling at the last minute with no concern. We’re pretty sure if I hadn’t written to ask where to meet them we would still be standing on the side of the dock!

In 2016 we used this company for a tour of Cadiz and had a great experience. I contacted them in 2023 to book a custom private tour of areas outside of Cadiz. From the outset communication was terrible and I had to ask multiple times for tour information, cost, etc. We settled on a day trip to Arcos de la Frontera and Jerez for 490 Euros for 2 people. At the time I booked and paid details of the trip were minimal (day and time only) so I kept contacting them for details of the tour, which I never received other than "you will be met at the ship". On the day of the tour we were met by a taxi driver who spoke no more than 25 words of English. Had I not known rudimentary Spanish there would have been no way to communicate with him. He took us to both locations and dropped us off to visit the sites on our own telling us the designated time and place to meet him. There was absolutely zero tour guiding on this trip; we were only provided a taxi to these 2 locations. This is not what we paid for nor what we expected. When I returned home I contacted Andrea at Pancho Tours on October 2 to express my concern that we were not given what we paid for. Her response on October 3 was "First and foremost, we are really sorry for such a bad experience, because we did not know anything of what happened. Secondly, it took several months to get the information, because the Day Trip that you did was designed only for you, because we have never made this kind of trip. So, for this reason, we needed to ask for all the information from our partners in Cadiz. However, we are really sorry that the guide was not as we had expected. We will talk to our partners in Cadiz about this. " It is now October 16 and I have heard nothing from Andrea or anyone else in the company. If they had no experience with this kind of trip they should have been up front and told me they were not equipped to provide this kind of tour. Instead they took my money and provided a taxi driver with no English skills. I am very disappointed that we have not received any additional response from them. We will never use this company again.

This company is selling scam tickets to various sites around Spain. When I showed the email they sent me, they told me it wasn’t a real ticket and I had to purchase a real ticket at the site. They may have been a real tour company once, but now they're living off scamming tourists. SORT review by most recent. Don't look at the old ones. Please note all of the one star reviews here about people being scammed by this company. It’s the same story over and over. Do not buy from Pancho Tours. For example, look at the sign I posted from the Real Alcazar. That is the real website. It’s crazy. “Pancho Tours” charges $30 for a fake ticket and the ticket office charges $15 for a real one. They even have a warning in front of the palace. Be careful of scammers. Of course Pancho Tours refused to refund the money for their fake ticket that was not accepted. I won the fraud case with Visa and they refunded my money. If you have been cheated by this company be sure to open a fraud case with your bank. If there are enough reports, Visa won't let them process credit cards anymore.

Good town to make you feel goid because of old town giving you local culture and historic culture,streets with small bars ,hidden points-areas to see.

Ana was really good.We got to try typical Cadiz dishes in tapas bars popular with the locals.Ana explained the food and talked to us about it.She was very good company for the evening.It was a very enjoyable evening. Although it was tapas,there was plenty to eat and drink so we had enough without being over full.No need to eat before or after the tour as you get the equivalent of a full meal and plenty of local wine.

This turned out to be a private tour for just my wife and me, which means a lot of folks missed out on a good thing. Our guide was knowledgeable about all things Cadiz. She took us to two out of the way tapas restaurants we would never have found on our own. The food was delicious, different, and new to us. Our guide told us about the food how it was prepared. The wine was great. I would go again and recommend the tour highly.

Our tour guide, Carmen, is a native of Cadiz, Spain and provided an excellent tour tailored to our family’s interests: history, culture, art and food. Carmen’s English was excellent and her fun personality made our first visit to Cadiz absolutely delightful! We highly recommend Carmen at Pancho Tours a thank you again, Carmen!

We truly enjoyed the tapas and wine tour in Cadiz. Our guide, Mateo, was very knowledgeable about the food culture and the history of Cadiz. He took us to two of the top restaurants in Cadiz as well as to the Mercado. The tapas were excellent and the semi dulce fantastic.

Our guide Carmen was excellent and extremely knowledgeable. We spent a fun filled morning g with her. Highly recommended.

We went on a glorious walk with Carmen during which she brought past and present Cadiz to life. She took us to extra sites based on our family interests which was very kind. She also took time chatting to one of our daughters in Spanish helping to encourage her as she is learning it at school.
