Alcazar Cordoba Skip the Line
We were initially scheduled to start this tour at 1:00pm and of course went to the meeting point early to make sure we were on time.

Ana ( our local tour guide) seemed flustered. She then explained that as of yesterday the Alcazar would not allow tour guides to skip the line. We had to wait until another tour guide got in the main line to buy our tickets. ( Perhaps go in the morning to buy the proper amount of tickets?)

This is advertised as “ Skip the line” but today was most definitely not!!

Also…. If you are coming from Sevilla ( or have been there in the past) and have visited the Alcazar there, you will be disappointed. This structure is NOT ornate and there is not really much to see inside. However, the gardens are very beautiful.

Ana is knowledgeable. She seems as if she loves history and wants to share her passion for her country with others. She truly was apologetic and was unhappy with so many things being out of her control.

Interesting and informative small group tour in English for about an hour. We personally enjoyed strolling the gardens a little more than the detail of all the very mixed architectural remnants on the site but an enjoyable morning.
