About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 109pias0 contributionsRubén was our guideWe had chosen a private guided tour with Rubén as guide. 4 hours covering mosquita - catedral, Alcázar and the Jewish quarter. We are very satisfied with his skills.Written December 11, 2024
- catalinagV2804DM0 contributionsInteresting tour, passionate guide, amazing placeWe had a great time in this Cordoba tour with the guide Chema. He was incredibly passionate about everything on this tour but was also funny. A bit too much information for beginners like us, especially that the tour is 4h long in the heat, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Mosque Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter walk and the Alcazar. There was a break in the middle and the pace was comfortable. Only negative, the guide left us in the Alcazar after the tour to stay and enjoy, but he didn’t say we had 20 minutes left as it was closing. So the tour can be shorter or start earlier for longer time in the Alcazar which is the highlight I think!Written September 8, 2024
- 14cedarw0 contributionsHighly recommendedOur guide was Jaime and he was fantastic. Funny, informative, engaging. We learned a lot about the history of the Mezquita and Cordoba and Andalusia. And, a beautiful building.Written July 21, 2024

- margaretwL305QD0 contributionsDon't Miss This Amazing Cathedral within a mosque - Made Better With An Expert GuideWe have never seen anything like this is all of our many travels. Inside this beautiful mosque, there is a huge surprise - a complete Catholic Cathedral. Unlike most religious sites, the Catholics didn't demolish the mosque and start over, instead they preserved 80% of this gorgeous mosque and built a cathedral within it. It was totally worth going and it was one of the highlights of our travels in Spain. We used My Top Tours, and our guide, Jamie, a native of Cordoba, was so friendly, knowledgeable and made the tour an absolute delight!Written June 14, 2024
- Alera0 contributionsPoorly run organization, but good tour in the endTour, itself, was well organized, engaging and informative. If I was rating only on the tour, I would give a 5. However, the administrative part of the business is run terribly. The office does not respond to messages, whether by phone, WhatsApp, email or even Facebook. I reserved the tour a month in advance and wasn't even sure it would happen until the evening before. Furthermore, I didn't think I was going to be able to do it in English until I arrived and he informed me that it would be in English.Written May 15, 2024
- eeshahh0 contributionsit was finethe tour was ok. our guide wasn’t good at storytelling or conveying the information interestingly. I’m not upset about the info, but it was annoying that we couldn’t turn in our headsets early to leave. we had to wait until the entire tour was over and give our headset back to our same guide otherwise we’d get charged. The last like 25 minutes we were just waitingWritten May 10, 2024
- Marj200090 contributionsNot informativeThis tour was disappointing. The guide (Jose or Tema) explained very little about Jewish history of Cordoba or even Jewish life in more recent years. He spoke about himself, primarily. He lacked even the basic sense of history, such as the extent of the expulsion, forced conversion, ececutions of Jewish citizens. Too bad.Written May 5, 2024
- decolondon880 contributionsAmazing private walking tourWe booked a private walking tour of Cordoba including inside of the Mesquita Cathedral. Our guide Genoveva was amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable. Cordoba is steeped in complicated religious and political history but she explained it all so well. She was patient with our questions and photo-taking and took us to all the highlights of this beautiful city in less than 4 hours. Thank you Genoveva for the amazing tour and Belen for assisting with the booking. Highly recommend Cordoba a Pie!Written March 22, 2024
- repire0 contributionsA wonderful morning in CordobaJose Maria (Chama?) gave an absolutely brilliant tour. His knowledge was comprehensive and encyclopaedic and he delivered it in a fun and interesting way. The Mosque Cathedral is of course the undoubted star of the show, a must-see.Written March 14, 2024

- 143stuartl0 contributionsGreat Tour with Wonderful Food & Restaurant SuggestionsDavid was a wonderful guide who was born in Cordoba and doing an art history major. He paced the tour well and answered all of our questions with thoughtfully and with some humor. At the part of the tour where he talked about local and traditional foods, he also gave us some restaurant suggestions which turned out well (example was Casa Miguelito - try their "killer" fried calamari dish). It was a very warm day so that the evening tour was more comfortable.Written October 16, 2023
- Carol13440 contributionsUnequivocally the BEST Experience! This was my third time visiting the Mezquita with a tour guide. Our tour guide was Jesus Maria and he was outstanding! He not only was a local, he was a historian. His tour was interesting and informative. He was able to present the information in an engaging manner. It was the best tour of the massive site that I have taken and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you Jesus Maria!Written October 15, 2023

We reserved the 4 hour complete tour of Cordoba through the Cordoba A Pie website, which provided a great rate.
We met Estefania at the Cordoba a Pie office, conveniently located near our hotel. As it turned out, it was just my wife and I on the tour, so we got a private tour! She gave a great tour of the mosque, and presented a thorough and balanced history of the mosque and history of the area. We were then met by David, who then continued our tour of the Jewish Quarter and then the Alcazar. He was also very detail oriented and gave us a nice orientation of the area. We even had to take a 20 min break to run back to our hotel to check out, and David waited for us, and did not reduce the duration of the rest of the tour, and we are truly grateful for that!
Overall a great experience. It can be tiring to do 4 hours of touring, and might be difficult for older tourists, but definitely recommend it if you want a full overview of the main sites in Cordoba!

Our guide Angela was incredibly knowledgeable and very engaging! She was able to answer all of our questions and offered really helpful recommendations for places to eat and other things to do in the city.
The tour itself was very well done, with adequate time at each stop to wander around and see everything that you'd want to.
Great value for money and would recommend!

The tour we did was a three part tour— the cathedral, the Jewish Quarters and the Alcazar. The Jewish Quarters and Alcazar were led by Jaime who was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, patient and kept a great pace. We learned a lot and very much enjoyed the tour. The cathedral was not as enjoyable. It was led by Juan who seemed very knowledgeable but repeated the same information over and over. He seemed impatient and was not open to answering questions. I rate the tour highly because of Jaime but was disappointed with the tour of the cathedral. It is such a spectacular place and it seemed that Juan just kept repeating how spectacular the architecture is.

We had booked a Best of Cordoba tour for April 14th. The guide for our tour of the Mezquita was very knowledgeable and clear in his narration. Professionally he was a historian. Tour went kind of fast, but was fascinating. Guide for the Jewish Quarter and Sinogaga was pleasant but tended to be chatty and drift from topic from topic. We lost him in the very crowded quarter and could not rejoin the tour.
I rated the touring company (Cordoba a Pie) as "terrible" because they neglected to note that the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristiano's would be CLOSED on April 14th, apparently because of Semana Sancta. As a result we were able to visit only the Mezquita and the part of the Jewish Quarter. Luckily when we checked into our hotel on April 13th, the front desk person told us about the closure. Consequently we rushed to the Alcazar that day, paid our own admission, and toured it without a guide. We enjoyed the Alcazar, but Cordoba a Pie did not offer a partial refund and so was impossible to reach once we got back to the U.S.

The tour is in two parts, with two different guides. The Mezquite was simply breathtaking, but our guide went into too much art historical detail. It was impossible to take everything in. The tour of the Synagogue, Jewish Quarter and Alcazar was more focused. Our guide Jaime provided interesting lesser-known facts and also allowed some time to wander.

Our guide Susana was extremely knowledgeable and welcomed questions. She mentioned many anecdotes and historical notes that we wouldn't have easily found in tour guides. I was hesitant to commit to a four hour tour but the entire tour was very enjoyable and stimulating.

My sister and I booked the 4 hour complete tour of Cordoba with this company but on Get Your Guide . Just book directly with them. We got there and Get Your Guide said my tour was the 16th but they told Cordoba De Pie the17th. Cordoba de Pie knew we had taken the train from Granada for the tour so they called Estefania to be our guide at the last minute. Estefania speaks French Italian and English. She loves Cordoba and history and is extremely thoughtful in her interpretation of history. We learned so much from her and got to know the city. I have been hoping to see the Mezquita Catedral for years and Estefania made it a very special experience. We love Estefania and feel so grateful for our day with her. If you love history , Estefania will educate you even more

This was our first visit in Cordoba and decided to do the tour - we loved it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. As it was in February, we were a group of just 6 and this was great.
The Mezquita Cathedral tour was really helpful to understand the history of Cordoba. However the visit is quite short compared to the amount of art and chapels to see. We went in the day before and had a good long look, then the tour was a great way to appreciate the different areas of the building.

Macarena was a terrific guide. Her her enthusiasm for her city is contagious. She was extremely knowledgeable and was eager to share what she knows with the members of the tour. Macarena had enough energy to power even the most exhausted tourists. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the tour.

Very informative tour of all the sights. The passion and knowledge of the tour guides was incredibly evident . We could hear the information very easily.
Only complaint would be that this is a marathon tour and in the heat of Córdoba could perhaps be a little shorter and more precise .

I will be driving from Seville on 6 May and arriving at Parador de Cordoba. Can I do this tour in the afternoon? What time does it start? Is this with Cordoba pie?

My family is looking to book a tour for on 6/22/19. There are 12 adults, 2 children and a 2 year old baby. Do I need to purchase a ticket for the 2 year old too? Also, I know the limit is 9, but can I make a 2nd purchase for the other 3 adults as a separate purchase on the same tour?

I saw your listing for the Full Day Tour (who's is actually 4 hours) at £27.39 on TripAdvisor but when I try to book 1 place for the 22nd Jan (English tour) I get a price to pay of £39.28. Why the change and what is the charge please? Will this tour be in English? I have also booked the 'free' tour on the Monday with you to get oriented. Do you cover the same things? Thanks. Nick
