About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Linda F0 contributionsA Great Way to See Cordoba Highlights in One DayOur guide Suzanna was professional and very knowledgeable. If you only have a short amount of time and want an understanding of Cordoba's history, this is an excellent tour. Four hours is a long time to walk and stand though if you have bad knees!Written October 30, 2024
- Safari2447910 contributionsSometimes, less is moreThe tour guide was definitely enthusiastic about the history of Cordoba. However, by the end of the tour it felt like I was in an undergraduate lecture course - a lot of the descriptions were waaaaaaaaaay too long.Written October 21, 2024
- catalinagV2804DM0 contributionsInteresting tour, passionate guide, amazing placeWe had a great time in this Cordoba tour with the guide Chema. He was incredibly passionate about everything on this tour but was also funny. A bit too much information for beginners like us, especially that the tour is 4h long in the heat, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Mosque Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter walk and the Alcazar. There was a break in the middle and the pace was comfortable. Only negative, the guide left us in the Alcazar after the tour to stay and enjoy, but he didn’t say we had 20 minutes left as it was closing. So the tour can be shorter or start earlier for longer time in the Alcazar which is the highlight I think!Written September 8, 2024
- 14cedarw0 contributionsHighly recommendedOur guide was Jaime and he was fantastic. Funny, informative, engaging. We learned a lot about the history of the Mezquita and Cordoba and Andalusia. And, a beautiful building.Written July 21, 2024
- hillaryh6290 contributionsRaffa’s AlcazarRafa was amazing! Great info and fun personality on a blistering hot day. Wish the tour was longer. Tip: start out very early!Written July 20, 2024
- margaretwL305QD0 contributionsDon't Miss This Amazing Cathedral within a mosque - Made Better With An Expert GuideWe have never seen anything like this is all of our many travels. Inside this beautiful mosque, there is a huge surprise - a complete Catholic Cathedral. Unlike most religious sites, the Catholics didn't demolish the mosque and start over, instead they preserved 80% of this gorgeous mosque and built a cathedral within it. It was totally worth going and it was one of the highlights of our travels in Spain. We used My Top Tours, and our guide, Jamie, a native of Cordoba, was so friendly, knowledgeable and made the tour an absolute delight!Written June 14, 2024
- Alera0 contributionsPoorly run organization, but good tour in the endTour, itself, was well organized, engaging and informative. If I was rating only on the tour, I would give a 5. However, the administrative part of the business is run terribly. The office does not respond to messages, whether by phone, WhatsApp, email or even Facebook. I reserved the tour a month in advance and wasn't even sure it would happen until the evening before. Furthermore, I didn't think I was going to be able to do it in English until I arrived and he informed me that it would be in English.Written May 15, 2024
- eeshahh0 contributionsit was finethe tour was ok. our guide wasn’t good at storytelling or conveying the information interestingly. I’m not upset about the info, but it was annoying that we couldn’t turn in our headsets early to leave. we had to wait until the entire tour was over and give our headset back to our same guide otherwise we’d get charged. The last like 25 minutes we were just waitingWritten May 10, 2024
- Marj200090 contributionsNot informativeThis tour was disappointing. The guide (Jose or Tema) explained very little about Jewish history of Cordoba or even Jewish life in more recent years. He spoke about himself, primarily. He lacked even the basic sense of history, such as the extent of the expulsion, forced conversion, ececutions of Jewish citizens. Too bad.Written May 5, 2024
- decolondon880 contributionsAmazing private walking tourWe booked a private walking tour of Cordoba including inside of the Mesquita Cathedral. Our guide Genoveva was amazing, so friendly and knowledgeable. Cordoba is steeped in complicated religious and political history but she explained it all so well. She was patient with our questions and photo-taking and took us to all the highlights of this beautiful city in less than 4 hours. Thank you Genoveva for the amazing tour and Belen for assisting with the booking. Highly recommend Cordoba a Pie!Written March 22, 2024
- repire0 contributionsA wonderful morning in CordobaJose Maria (Chama?) gave an absolutely brilliant tour. His knowledge was comprehensive and encyclopaedic and he delivered it in a fun and interesting way. The Mosque Cathedral is of course the undoubted star of the show, a must-see.Written March 14, 2024

- Carol13440 contributionsUnequivocally the BEST Experience! This was my third time visiting the Mezquita with a tour guide. Our tour guide was Jesus Maria and he was outstanding! He not only was a local, he was a historian. His tour was interesting and informative. He was able to present the information in an engaging manner. It was the best tour of the massive site that I have taken and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Thank you Jesus Maria!Written October 15, 2023

David was a wonderful guide who was born in Cordoba and doing an art history major. He paced the tour well and answered all of our questions with thoughtfully and with some humor. At the part of the tour where he talked about local and traditional foods, he also gave us some restaurant suggestions which turned out well (example was Casa Miguelito - try their "killer" fried calamari dish). It was a very warm day so that the evening tour was more comfortable.

Had a great tour with Raphael in Cordoba. His personality and enthusiasm are infectious! He showed us things and told us the history on places we may have never seen on our own. Very enjoyable time and the city is beautiful at night!

We booked and paid for the the Cordoba Old Town Evening Walking Tour for May 11, 2022. We went to the Plaza de las Tendillas to meet the guide shortly before 20:00. We waited 20 minutes. No guide with umbrella showed up. We called the Cordoba a Pie office, but no one spoke English. I emailed the company and received no response.

A special visit. Rafa, the guide, is wonderful and makes you feel part of the tour from the first moment. We especially liked getting to know places that are not the best known in Córdoba. A 10 experience that we would undoubtedly repeat with Rafa again as a guide.

I booked this tour on17th June 2018 as advertised 1800hrs. On speaking to a tour represenstive at the advertised meeting office was told the tour was from 2000hrs.
This time did not suit us so had to cancel, the young lady in the office made enquiries on our behalf and was told that even we had cancelled less than 24 hrs, we would be refunded our money as she agreed the wrong time was abvertised. Not to be, money has not been refunded. VERY DISAPPOINTED WILL NOT BE BOOKING ON TRIP ADVISOR AGAIN!

David was our guide for the evening walking tour. Although he had a heavy accent which made it difficult to understand at times, he made up for it through his enthusiasm and energy. Since it was during the patio competition festival, we were shown an "extra" highlight - a house with a gorgeous patio & beautiful flowers. David even gave tips on how to visit the Mezquita - indicating the oldest section etc. Ended the evening with a nice glass of 50/50 wine on a rooftop. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

Excellent and charming tour. My husband and I took this on our first night there. Raffa was an excellent guide and gave us some great tips for our trip. Ended on a rooftop with a drink and lovely view of the city. A great way to start our trip!

we were a bit worried to receive a whats app message saying our guide was ill and asking if we could re-arrange which we couldn't do. We went along to the office anyway and Belen the office manager said that she would take us instead and we ended up having a great evening. We were really lucky that it was only our family on the walk and lucky to have such a pleasant and well informed guide. Really enjoyed this - Belen took us to places we just wouldn't have found on our own and ended up treating us to a nice drink on a roof terrace overlooking the mezquita. A great tour and highly recommended

Good fortune smiled at us.
The weather was perfect.
Suzanne was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide.
Cordoba is even more lovely when you learn the stories and historical context.
I forget what we paid but it was worth more.

Written September 26, 2018
Where exactly do you meet for this tour? Some folks have said it is hard to find your departure point. Could you give me the NAME of the shop and any other landmark that would help us find your location? Also where exactly do you conclude the tour? Is it close to Mezquita?
