- jonkei1230 contributionsPickpocketsWe had a good time in Cordoba, lovely city to visit. Just be aware pickpockets are everywhere so be on your guard. We were followed and the couple who were at the back of us kept bumping into us every time we stopped. Finally I realized they were unzipping my wifes supposed pickpocket proof rucksack, I yanked his hand away and they rushed off. We were very lucky they had unfastened 2 zips to get to the purse which would have gone if I had not notice. A good place to visit but full of thieves so be very, very carefulWritten March 6, 2023

- Giacomina630 contributionsdon't go on a MONDAYCordoba is a delightful medieval arabic town with several attractions worth visiting , more than feasible on foot in about 5 hours so needn't bother with a bus tour (17 euros pp) . IMPORTANT to note that due to the soaring temperature in summer all these attractions close at around 2.30pm and do not open for the rest of the day. On Mondays they don't open at all!!! So whilst well Worth visiting make sure you arrive max 10 am and don't go on a Monday! We took the regular bus service from Malaga to Cordoba (2.30 hrs ) which costs 13 euros per personWritten August 22, 2017
- Killermont0 contributionsAlert: bird strike pickpocketsCordoba is a beautiful city and well worth a visit but today we were victims of the 'bird strike' scam. Waking in the narrow street - Calle Judeos- we felt the wetness of a bird strike. Dark green splashes were on both our clothes. Immediately, a nice middle aged couple were there to assist us to clean up. Five minutes later, when back in our hotel, we realised that all the cash in my small handbag (€15) was gone. We'd heard of this happening outside cafes in various towns and cities but never to people walking in the street. The whole thing seemed really plausible so - be aware!Written August 16, 2017
- Stebay660 contributionsQuirky and interestingCordoba is quirky, interesting and good for history buffs. It's narrow streets, white walled houses are historic buildings are excellent. Take a walking tour so you know what you are looking at.Written April 13, 2017
- Mothergoosethemoose0 contributionsGreat walking toru and helpful staffUsed the bus to get to and from the airport and to get some background as we travelled. Best part however was the walking tour; the young man who took us around was very informative; pointing out places to eat and giving us details of local foods. Also gave us some good ideas on how to spend our day. So whilst the tour bus was of limited value the walking tour made it worthwhile to us.Written November 7, 2016
- Razta0 contributionsCORDOBA EXPERIENCEI feel this is a must do in Spain as you see a very different part of Spanish city with old ancient Islamic history. Also who ever wants to visit these places should do some research before going in order to understand the place better. we were zapped with so much information. Good pictures and sights.Written June 21, 2016
- ricanold0 contributionsA talt of two cities. We stayed in Cordoba for a few days recently and I get the feeling now a little more research before we went would have helped our understanding of the place. Its a bit of a layer cake; the really old buildings down near the Roman bridge through the later 17th and 18th century stuff and out to the light-industrial sprawl that is most of the city. The divide between the old and the more recent is quite distinctive, The older buildings house most of the tourist stuff and you pay tourist prices but if you venture into the grim streets to the west of the main avenue there is no sense of danger, everybody is friendly and prices plummet. A large beer, a small beer and two mini-burgers for well under 3 €. Be prepared to walk and to carry at least water around with you. Everything shuts in the worst of the mid-day heat and its easy to get lost. A smartphone is nearly essential to get home.Written June 17, 2016

- Travelfromessex0 contributionsGood overview of the cityComing over by train from Seville, we only had a limited time and the station is some way from the main historic core. Luckily the tour bus stops right outside and so it doubled up as our public transport. Interesting commentary on the main areas was available in a number of languages through the headphones. The price also includes a minibus tour and a couple of walking tours if you have the time. It wasn't entirely clear what timetable they were using in October but the longest we waited was maybe 20 minutes. Recommended overall.Written November 16, 2015
- Luna5120 contributionsGreat tours! With my husbands bad knee we decided to use this tour as a way of seeing a bit of everything and were able to visit the monuments far from our hotel without having to do too much walking. I found the price of 17€ to be worth it because as others have mentioned you get to use the big and small bus plus you have 2 hour and half long guided walking tours included. We did the walking tour in the Judería (with Mari Carmen) and it was excellent! Plus the ticket is a 24hour ticket (instead of a daily one) so you can really take advantage of it. Depending on the time of year, the wait times for the bus vary (in August it was every 25) so make sure to ask when you visit. I'm sure if it had been 50 min likes others have said we wouldn't have done it. Also there are quite a few stops where both the busses pass by so you can catch either one of them. Plus...if you go in August Córdoba is wicked hot, so grabbing the bus made it more bearable!Written August 24, 2015

- kaouthar B0 contributionsWorth the money! The tickets comprises 4 tours: 2 prerecorded bus tours and two walking tours with a knowledgeable guide (our guide is named Javier). Bus tours are of 2 kinds: a mini bus that goes in the city and narrow streets and a bigger double bus that gives a broader idea and feeling of the city. Walking tours are excellent! The first is a general one that treats of the main areas and the second is specific to the Jewish quarter (juderia). Thx Javier!Written December 21, 2014
- Jo B0 contributionsWell worth it!We did both tours - the minibus round the narrow lanes and the double decker through the rest of the city. Interesting commentary (pre-recorded), comfortable buses and well worth the money, especially if it's too hot to walk for hours, as it was in July. I booked in advance and saved some money.Written August 5, 2014

Purchasing the tickets were great. The guy was helpful and informative. To me, that was the only positive and I have used this service in at least 4 other cities.
I know it’s the off season but the wait times is huge. We waited over an hour one day for the bigger of the 2 buses.
On the little bus, I was getting so wound up! I think the driver was a disgrace! For the whole journey, he was playing with his mobile phone. He had 3. I’m guessing 2 of them may have been work ones but I’m 90% sure it was his personal phone he was using. I could see his screen and I know it was nothing work related. I was worried for our safety as he hardly looked at the road. Just fleeting glances.
Luckily we didn’t have the same experience on the bigger bus but I tried the headphones in 4 different jack points and I couldn’t hear a thing. The headphones are new and I did get some more later which were fine but then again I also sat in a different spot. So I don’t know if it was the headphones or the ports.
I will use this company again but not if I ever went back to cordoba. Most of the time I didn’t know where I was and it always took a while to find a stop to get back on the bus.

The worst experience ever. The driver did not speak English. Charged us 22 euro per person, gave a map with no explanations. Slow drive through the city and drop off near historical center. We were not told that a small bus was available and did not use it. Our ticket included some “free drinks” that we did not know about, did not need, and did not use. The real price of the ticket should be 12 euro if we refuse “extras”. Got on the bus to get to train station. Should’ve taken taxi. Cheaper and faster. 44 euro waisted plus a bad feeling you were fooled.

Great experience for our family, it is special for our children. Thank you to Nico who explained to us in a very complete, friendly and professional way the possibilities we had. The rides on the small bus, the large bus and on foot were very entertaining.
You can get on and off at the different stops throughout the city (all day long), which allows you to get to know the city easily. 100% recommendable,

As we were only in Cordoba for a day visit we needed to make the best use of our time.
We were contemplating just a walking tour but opted to do the HOHO bus tour.
As Cordoba has historical narrow streets. They actually have two routes. A small shuttle bus to navigate the historical centre and the bigger HOHO bus for the outer part.
You get recorded commentary through the headphones, although in the small bus the driver would stop at places of interest and point then speak in Spanish. We usually got the gist.
The HOHO allowed us to get a quick overview of Cordoba and we managed to see things that we would had overlooked. After all our main reason to visit was to see the Mezquita.

Alejandro's thing is to do a study. How such a kind, helpful person with so much knowledge of the city of Córdoba made such good suggestions to us is something that left us completely and absolutely stunned.
We booked the tour that included a visit to the Viana Palace. And that is fantastic, beautiful, like all of Córdoba. What a great city.
It was great to do it in February, with a day without that suffocating heat, and thanks to Alejandro's advice, we knew where we had shadows, where we had fountains, where we could sit, and where the best photos were taken.
Great day, highly recommended, and above all, look for Alejandro to help you.

Another good bus trip. Was only there for the day so used it to orientate ourselves and then hop on and off. Liked the fact that it was allowed through the old part of the town as so few cars etc are. Look down the alleys and through gates and you will see some lovely homes and gardens that you cannot on foot. All in all we enjoyed the bus trip and the stops were well marked and easy to find. Once again, use a guidebook as sometimes they aren't clear what you are supposed to be looking at (don't say "on the right" very often).

Apr 2023 • Friends
I have never had such an awful experience on a tour bus. No explanations of the few sights we saw, we stopped once to let some people off. The rest of the time was spent driving, rapidly, through mainly commercial areas of Córdoba. The driver refused to give us head phones or tour guide maps. We had no idea what we saw as we sped past the historical buildings, in the distance. I have been on many tourist buses, Valencia, Cartagena, Granada, Barcelona etc. and this was the worst one and the most expensive at 23€ per person.

An intimate walk through the city center. The audio guide makes it possible to learn about details and events that would otherwise have gone unnoticed, even if you have passed through the same street on foot previously. Our guide, Ángel, was very friendly and complemented the audio guide by slowing down the vehicle, pointing and adding the occasional comment.

Àngel Garcia advised us well. Córdoba is wonderful. They had not notified the guide Meri, who was great. Miguel in the mosque very good. On the buses the headphones work poorly and a lot of smoke comes in from the bus itself. Maybe there is a lack of coordination between the buses. Córdoba overflows with culture.

We use similar tours to this wherever we visit in Spain. No criticism is intended of the provider here but we were left with the impression that Córdoba just doesn't have enough places of interest to fill a tour of this nature. We were anxiously waiting for the end way before the route was complete.
