- laylan6500 contributionsExcellentVery nice trip, highly recommended, just Ware comfortable clothes and go for a great adventures throughout the day with nice small groupWritten August 11, 2024
- David S0 contributionsBreathtaking rock formationsThis was an excellent tour, highly recommended. Our delightful guide Dalibora made the day run seamlessly. Very informative and helpful. The rock formations at the first two places were breathtaking. The only word of warning is that the hike up out of the gorge at the end of the tour was steep and challenging, and we were a bit concerned at one stage that one in our party might not be able to make it back up to the bus.Written July 31, 2024
- Escape391409451440 contributionsPhysical effort well worth itReally nice daytrip with beautiful views! A bit hard at times but well worth the effort. We had a very friendly guide with a lot of knowledge about the places we visited.Written July 28, 2024
- 653janee0 contributionsIf you like to hike this is the tour for youOne of the top three things we did on our vacation! This tour was AMAZING! Yvette was wonderful. If you like to hike and are an eco-tourist, this is the tour for you. They are not easy hikes so be warned but we highly, highly recommend this tour. Parks were beautiful.Written July 13, 2024
- DianaTLT0 contributionsAwesome tourThe National Park tour was excellent. Enraptured by the wonders of nature. Our guide (Yvette) was knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Loved it.Written July 9, 2024
- Francis Albert H0 contributionsWonderful scenery with a good workout.I had a great time doing this day trip. I was debating if we should do this hike considering my wife’s ability. Unfortunately that morning my wife was very sick I had to go solo. Knowing the 24hr cancellation policy I knew I’ll be losing half of the payment. Sorry I have to mention this I didn’t had a chance to give positive feedback to GetYourGuide we were still on a tour and leaving feedback has closed. I want to thank Anna (our guide) so much that helped us with the refund. We got the full refund for my wife’s fee. Back to Cayman. Don’t hesitate book a tour with them they are very friendly and nice people. You’ll be very comfortable with them even with the driver happened to be the owner. Anna is very lively, informative happy caring person. I thought I’ll be bored just easily seeing the Bastei Bridge cause I want some action and the bridge is easily accessible from the parking lot. Don’t get me wrong it’s great to see.. Views are wonderful. Then Anna assured me that we will hike. So for more adventurous people you’ll get your workout. Hike to Pravčická Gate. I really like the hike might not be for everyone with physical skill limitations. But to tell you we had a Japanese gentleman in his 70’s that was able to finish the whole task. Kamenice Gorge was a bonus. Very relaxing well maintained beautiful trail. I love the place. Then again for more adventurous people Anna will bring you to a steep I would say not 😁well maintained trail that we enjoy.. more challenges. Then a relaxing end with nice fire trail, tall trees. They know how to do it right. I really enjoyed it. Book with GetYourGuide and Cayman great support! Thanks 🤗Written July 8, 2024
- 79yelenak0 contributionsFantastic tourIt was an amazing tour, well worth the money, in my opinion. Views were unmatched. Being picked up from the hotel and having the lunch place as part of the tour helped take pressure off and fully relax. Ivette was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, and very patient with a full tour group of 2 vans. I would definitely recommend the tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Ivette as your guide.Written May 27, 2024
- Fearless067301957570 contributionsUps and downsThe guide we had didn’t seem to know much English though the reviews said that the guides were really good. You depart at 7am and eat at around 3/3:30 so make sure you’re bringing snacks and enough water in your bag. Although the gesture of a croissant on the bus is kind it’s not enough for the amount of walking you’re doing. The trip if you’re vegetarian is difficult, the place you go to eat food has like two veggie “meals”. One a plate full of cheese with option for croquettes and the second labeled “vegetarian risotto” is a small plate of rice with peas. Bring cash as this place doesn’t take card so if you think the portion sizes are small, which they are, the place has snacks there. Regardless of this the views were incredible, definitely worth it we were so lucky as it was 20C…Written May 26, 2024
- 574anitag0 contributionsA fabulous add-on to a trip to PragueNeed to get out in nature? Have more energy left in those legs? Amazing trip - a definite add-on to time in Prague. Absolutely stunning views but you have to work hard to earn them - be prepared for some serious hills and steps. Our guide was fantastic and very patient with those of us who lagged behind to take photos!Written May 22, 2024
- robynhanghanf0 contributionsNew experience for me!First of all I want to thanks both my tour guide, Evas and her driver friend for being friendly and helpful throughout the trip. The hiking was not too hard-core as they very safe and nice steps and hiking trail. ( Eventhough some of the steps was steep🫠) But the view of Bastei Bridge, Pravcicka Brana with lot of majestic sandstones and the Gorges of Kamenice River ( River of imagination according to our tour guide 😀) worth all the walking!Written May 16, 2024
- Ian C0 contributionsDo it, you won’t be disappointed! 🥾If you have a day spare, this a must do while in Prague. Our guides and driver were brilliant! We were picked up from our hotel and take to our destination. The hikes were spectacular with some fantastic views and sights. The boat tour was a nice chance to sit and take in the views. This was very much a ‘jungle cruise’ experience as the boat guide was funny with plenty of wit. We stopped for lunch in the afternoon which was a great chance to chat with the others in our group and get some energy before our final accent. We were given water and snacks on the coach. Our main guide left after the final hike so we didn’t get a chance to tip. So if you want to tip, do it before you get on the coach.Written May 10, 2024
- 324geoffreyb0 contributionsAbsolutely amazing.Absolutely amazing tour. So many breathtaking views and so many photos taken. So beautiful. Peaceful and relaxing. - tishvc0 contributionsMust do tour when in PragueWe had an amazing time going on this tour. It was well timed, the hiking pace was good, the lunch is great and the guide was very informative and friendly. I am glad we booked this tour. If you are thinking about visiting the Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland National Parks, I highly recommend Cayman Travel. I cannot say enough good things about our guide and this tour.Written April 19, 2024
- N3912QYellenc0 contributionsStrongly recommended! Amazing 1-day tour with great tour guideI joined the tour on 6th April, 2024 with great sunny weather. The driver was waiting for us in the hotel lobby on time and took us to meet up with another group of people from Dresden. We were glad that only 4 people in total in our tour so the tour guide was really caring for us. He was the driver for the Dresden group. He was very informative, knowledgeable, friendly and talkative. We had a really nice chat about everything in Czech and our home country. He gave us enough time to take photos for each scenic spot (because the view was breathtaking) and even gave us advice on what places we should go next around Prague. My friend and I enjoyed the tour very much! A lot of walking but definitely worth the time and price!Written April 7, 2024

Bottom line up front: book with Cayman Travels for your day trip to Bohemia Saxon National Park. Easily one of the best trips I’ve had since moving to Germany. Jan was an excellent and extremely knowledgeable guide. He picked our group up promptly from Dresden and was instrumental in bringing our attention to the beautiful, lesser known spots in the park as well as guiding us through the more popular areas (and taking top notch photos). The sites themselves were even more gorgeous in person than the pictures online. Truly stunning views, and Jan allowed us all the time we needed to enjoy and absorb the scenes.
Beer and lunch included in the trip were also quite good, and I walked away from the day feeling like I couldn’t have made a better decision for my booking.
Absolutely highly recommend this tour, for new and seasoned travelers alike. Now that travel is open, you’ve got no excuse! (:

The perfect daytrip with amazing scenery of the Bastei bridge and Prebisch gate. A day well spent and absolutely worth doing it. Guide Jan let us explore at our own pace and provided us with a great experience, including lunch in a local restaurant (Czech) and a beer at the Eagle's nest near the top of prebisch gate.

Jan, our guide, promptly pick us up from our hotel in Prague and dropped us off at our hotel in Dresden (this saved us a train trip as we moved cities from our trip). As a native resident of the park, Jan provided great insight into the park’s history as well as the optimal photo locations.
Lunch as well as another stop for beer are all included in the tour as well as admission to any of the park’s attractions, including the summit of the archway and the river boat tour.
If you have an opportunity to visit the Switzerland National Park, Jan is the best hiking buddy you can have.

I booked this day trip during a business trip to Dresden. I went a few days early and thought this would be a nice way to see something outside of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. I was picked up at the hotel in Dresden exactly on time. Our guide, William, was very informative and entertaining. He kept me updated on changes to the itinerary due to shutdown of portions of the German side of the park. The flexibility to add something else to the tour as an alternative was much appreciated. We had a small group, perhaps others chose to cancel, but I chose not to cancel and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the day, despite anything we might have missed seeing. We saw the Bastei Bridge, Tisa Rocks, and drove to Decin in Czech Republic. The lunch was very good. All in all, a very enjoyable experience.

Jan is informative, articulately multilingual, attentive to his hikers. I am 76 years old and he offered assistance encouragement and care to enable me to make the entire journey. It's a challenging and breathtaking experience with scenic views and photo ops that were remarkable. We also stopped at the top of both the German and Czech sides of the journey for a relaxing break highlighted with wonderful beer. This is an experience I would never have anticipated and recommend it without reservation.

I booked the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Park Day Trip from Dresden directly from the company's website. Everything went smoothly. I was picked up at 8am by a lovely guide in a small black volvo who walked into the hotel lobby to find me (passengers from Prague got pick up in a van - no company logo on the car or van).
Turns out the company will go ahead with running the tour even if only one person books, in order to not disappoint travellers (how nice is this! A contrast to other tour companies).
They had extra bottles of water and snacks in case required (but really you should bring your own water/snacks for a hiking trip!)

The German govt shut down their entire side of the park due to the fires within the 2 hours between when the guide last checked and when we got to our first stop. The guides had to come up with a whole new itinerary on the fly, including lunch. And they did. We went to the Tisa Rocks, and then walked around the castle gardens in Decin and up to the hilltop overlook. Once I got over the disappointment of not being able to see what I'd hoped to, I enjoyed myself.

Three destinations worth seeing that we could explore from Dresden. Hotel pickup by minibus was very punctual and tour guide very friendly and competent. With arrival and departure we were about 10 hours on the road. A little fitness should be brought and suitable shoes (at least sneakers).

Our tour guide was amazing! We were the only couple from Dresden and she drove out personally to pick us up. The hikes were lovely with a small group of twelve. The views couldn’t be beat and the pace was very reasonable.
Lunch was very tasty. My wife had venison goulash and i had the beef in garlic sauce and I can recommend both.
We got chased off the final hike to the sandstone arch by bad weather but still had plenty of time to do what we needed to do. My only regret is doing the tour on four hours of sleep after a Rammstein concert!
Don’t hesitate to book, these guys are great and will take care of you.

Jan is an excellent guide that keep the tour going even if I am the only person who signed up for the day. We had a very pleasant journey to the Bastei Bridge followed by the breathtaking Bohemian Switzerland National Park and boat ride (the route is very well planned and strategic!). Jan was so considerate that he prepared fruits to boost my energy level before the 1.5 hrs walking up to the Bohemian. The views of the arc was astonishing and we managed to finish the hike on time and catch bus to a small town, Mezna for lunch. The food is so good and the Czech brewed beer is amazing! We finished the tour after boat ride by calm forest and river view and finally end the tour with the soft-served gelato.

Hallo,
Vielen Dank :-)

It's a mild parcours on a leisurely pace, nothing too hard. The guide did not rush anything and we could follow our own tempo.

I will be taking the train. Thank you

Hi there.
You can catch a train from the central station in Dresden.
I travelled by train form Dresden to Pirna then took a bus to Bastei. This allows you to walk down hill through the park to Kurort Rathen then train back to Dresden.
It's a lovely area.
