- 19Maryellen0 contributionsBest Christmas market I have been to!One of the best Christmas markets I have ever been to! Spent 2 days here. Also went to the medieval market in Esslingen. It was awesome and easy to get to! We did visit the Christmas garden our first night there. It was underwhelming. Not worth the trip and 22 euros it cost to get in. The Chrsitmas market was large with a great deal of variety, however. Loved igt!Written January 26, 2024
- sarakaufmann10 contributionsWonderful walking tourDecided to go on this walking tour with my family when we were visiting Leipzig. Our guide was really friendly and showed us so many interesting buildings and told us so many things. I loved it, it was such a wonderful experience. If you really want to know the city better this is definitely for you.Written December 25, 2023
- Sharie94710 contributionsBehind the Christmas market, there’s another Rothenberg waiting to be experienced!Antonia was our guide yesterday. She is a delight. We walked around the area of the Christmas market. We took in the Town Hall area and learned historical things. She included a walk along the city wall. The views are amazing up there. We walked a different area, away from the Christmas market and learned more history of the importance of Rothenberg. We shopped a little as we began. She was kind to let us do that. We ended back in the Christmas market. She helped us get back our bearings so we knew where we were before she left us. Antonia couldn't have been more kind and informative. She is a wonderful guide and lady! We enjoyed her!Written December 18, 2023
