Tour didn't go the route on the map and didn't sync with audio tour as a result. Couldn't hop off as we didn't know what part of tour we were at. When brought up with ticket saleperson, they told us we were on the express route which was not detailed on tour and there was nothing they could do. Not worth the money

I have been on many of these hop on hop off buses in the UK and they were excellent. This one in Frankfurt is the worst bus tour I have ever been on. Hard to find the bus stop - then the bus arrived full (but driver still letting people on), and the bus behind didn't stop but had seats available. Then when the bus stopped at the old town (and we finally got a seat together) - we were told to get off and board another bus (which was also full). We paid for an hour tour, so the bus should just go round in a circle (you shouldnt have to get off half way round). Absolute disaster and wouldnt recommend to anyone. Take a nice leisurely cruise down the river instead, much more enjoyable.

I have taken many Hop On Hop Off buses in both the US and Europe and this was the worst. Bus took forever to reach our stop. Stops are not well marked on the map or posted on the street. I was surprised that with no seats on the bus the driver would keep letting people on. It was standing room only in there! When we reached the starting point location of the tour we were told we had to get off the bus and go hop on the one in front of us. Got off the bus and there was no bus in front of us! At that point we gave up and ventured out on foot. I attempted to get a refund or some compensation for the 100+ Euros I spent on our tickets for a family of four and instead was given a discount on our next booking. Would be great if I ever planned to book with this company again, which I don’t based on this experience.

No bus arrived. No refunds issued. No fun. What a worthless operation. Avoid this company at all costs. I should have read these reviews first. What a POS Company.

Scam!!! First of tour doesn't last as long as advertised. It doesnt stop anywhere, you basically are just being driven around in the bus with very bad audio experience. Also, if you want to hop off ( as advertised) driver will inform you that next bus will be available to pick you up in 2hours. (again falsely advertised as every 20-30 minutes). So to conclude, this is a scam and dont waste your money or time. Use public transport which is excellent in Frankfurt and enjoy city at your own pace and satisfaction.

Your service states 14 stops on the route I took, but did not stop at any except the natural history museum. When we got off here the bus driver said he would be back in 1 hour. As it was going to be the last bus of the day we made sure to be outside at the stated time. We were out in 50 mins. We waited for an hour and a half with no show. Thankfully the alternative sight seeing blue hop on/hop off bus service came round and offered to take us to the train station free of charge. Please, if anyone sees this review, use the Blue service, they are much more professional than these scammers.

Express Skyline all same same. We paid for skyline but the route it took was combination of express and Skyline route and made it shorter then express. If they don't run this separate tours they shouldn't charge for it.

This was a full day trip from Frankfurt to Rothenburg via stops at a few charming little towns along the way. The coach bus was very comfortable and had reliable free WiFi on board. It picked us up conveniently at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof in the morning at 9 and dropped us off there in the evening about 7ish. The driver Andreas was polite and a good driver. The guide Alan was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable about the places we went to as well as giving interesting facts about Germany. He spoke with every guest ensuring we were all having a good time and checked if we had any questions. Rothenburg was the main attraction for me and I’m glad we spent ample time there with gorgeous disney-like buildings and quaint gift shops. We chose to try the Der Reichskuchenmeister Restaurant, which served up delicious tradition dishes. I highly recommend doing this trip.

Good tour, nice way to see city while it was raining . The guides did a good job. Easy walk to catch bus from train.

There was a brochure at our Hotel Hilton Doubletree where we purchased Frankfurt Sightseeing tickets online and waited at the Main Tower for pick-up. We waited over an hour and the bus never came. The brochure said there were several stops every hour. Before leaving we called the phone number listed on the receipt but there was no answer or voicemail. I informed our hotel who also called the number with no answer. The hotel removed the brochures from the lobby. I emailed them and have not received a response. Beware!

Not much of a tour from the “tour guide” and the bus was over 30 minutes late arriving to pick us up. Long drive and not enough time to see the town or the other places we stopped. Bummer!!

First the meeting place was not clear and we and others were wandering around not sure as the tickets are not clear. Next Boris the bus driver was 20 MINUTES late. David the tour guide talked 4-5 times in the three hours there. Once was to tell us about a shopping mall. No history or points of interest. The bus was dirty and would not run AC. The stops are great but they literally told us that we have 5 minutes to explore a beautiful garden. On the return Bus was late picking us up. I would avoid this trip. Only redeeming thing is Rothenburg is beautiful

The personal in Saint Paul Church is not goos, you have to keep a ticket when you buy it online and they won’t let you go in without the paper ticket. They snatch your phone like it’s nothing plus the route is not followed correctly. Doesn’t worth the money, if you see a white woman with short blonde hair, she doesn’t care about you buying tickets online, she’s really rude. This tour is not good, if you need to know Frankfurt you better walk, it’s nicer and less expensive.

Our trip to Rothenburg was nothing short of a true fairytale. It all started with our guide, Alan. Alan is a true gentleman and a scholar and made sure we were fully taken care of and briefed on the history as we made our way along the picturesque Romantic Road. Much to our delight, we made 2 unexpected stops in Würzburg and Weikersheim. In both places, we were given quick tours of the palace grounds and time to meander in the exquisite gardens. We spent around 3 hours in Rothenburg which is ample time to experience the wonder of this midevil town. I cannot say enough about this tour. It was one of the top highlights of our lives. Igor, our driver, was also a consummate professional and excellent driver. Do not miss this tour if you go to Germany. I wish I could give it 1 billion stars...

We had a good, very well organized trip to Rothenburg with a couple of extra fun stops along the way. 3 hours in Rothenburg is plenty of time to see everything. We really enjoyed our day!
