You should not miss this Rhine river cruise. I felt like I was in a model train set because the river, the hills & trees, the towns and the castles were perfect. Also our tour guide did an excellent job of explaining the area and making us laugh. We stopped for lunch which was delicious. Everything was perfect.

It was wonderful to get out of the city and see the famous Rhine Valley. The bus was clean and modern the driver was very good. We travelled on. Sunday so the traffic was light. The boat also clean and modern, on time, and as the weather was great we could sit on the top deck. Views were fantastic, castles, vineyards and quaint towns. Good value for the cost. Things I would improve: more detailed itinerary. Would be nice to know that your one meal stop wouldn’t be until 4 pm. A timeline of the days events with a written note of what stop to get off at (on the boat). Those big German names just don’t stick when verbally told. The restaurant could just be described as odd. You will pass beautiful cafes along the river to go into your restaurant which is a hoarders paradise. Plastic grapes and vines and mermaids and and and. Dark, low ceiling. Since meals were pre-ordered I found it odd that the food was not ready within a few minutes of arrival. (Keep in mind most would have not eaten since breakfast and it’s now 4 pm). Wine tasting was even in a darker, more cluttered room. A walk along the river or perhaps a stop at some shops would have been nicer. Overall the good out weighed the odd.

Guide could have been informative in this tour. Especially on the 1 hour bus ride there. Also at he castle . Seemed we had to ask alot of questions to get information.

Ok, nothing special. Visited castle which was nice, but you do not go inside. 1 hour each way, about an hour around the castle and another hour or so in the local square. Had a pleasant lunch on our own at the square. Pleasant way to spend the day.

My family and I had the most wonderful day tour of Heidelberg. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny and led the tour in perfect English. We had ample time to explore the breathtaking Old Town before taking the funicular up to the castle. Would highly recommend the tour as a day trip from Frankfurt!

The trip along the Rhine river was magnificent! I chose the full day excursion, and I wish it had lasted more, especially the river cruise. Countryside was so beautiful! our guide was a very polite gentleman with many information about the area.

Take a train instead. Its really not worth the money. Its too rushed and not really a tour anyways, its just a drive. Do It Yourself!

The trip along the Rhine was truly spectacular. If you love being out of the hustle of the city to watch castles go by and beautiful countryside this is the trip. Our guide Michael was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Michael was a wonderful tour guide. Beautiful day for a cruise, lunch and wine tasting. He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. Lunch was excellent.

A short bus ride from Frankfurt to this beautiful city with interesting history. Many scenic views which was very relaxing. This trip would give you a quick snapshot & if interested, possibility of returning back to spend few days.

The Rhine river is a definite must when coming to this area. We chose a full day activity and my only complaint was the boat ride was only about an hour and a half. I was expecting to spend a lot more time on the river, but we made the best of it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip a lot of fun. I enjoyed the small town we boarded the boat in and the lunch was very good. Despite the overwhelming decor in the restaurant, it was surprisingly clean! Overall, a great time.

The time spent at the castle felt very rushed, but we were allotted more time in the city to explore on our own thankfully. If you’re wanting to take your time and walk the grounds of Heidelberg, I suggest picking a different option. Our tour guide was fantastic, I just think the time was not sufficient.

Trip started a little later than scheduled, but was enjoyable. Felt a bit rushed thru the castle, but guide was very knowledgeable

Our driver (tour guide) Mike seemed like a nice guy but spoke very little English and was quiet and reserved (perhaps the language barrier) so we didnt get much information during our drive to the castle. Once you're there you take a shuttle to the entrance and another guide walks you through the castle (which was great).
