I expected to be able to hop on and hop off on this Frankfurt City tour. This was not the case!
I entered the bus for th 9 A.M. departure and the bus was empty until right before departure, when one other person joined the tour. I put my headphones on to listen to the prerecorded audio. We drove around and I could not see well or undrestand where the places were mentioned in the audio. I intended to hop off and on at several locations but the bus did not stop at all and zoomed by like a transit bus. I wasted my time and money with this tour. I dont' understand why they call it a Hop on Hop off tour.

The tour lasted only a scant hour and apart from the riverside section, was totally boring. It didn't go into the old city, only round it. The driver didn't
give us tickets either so hopping on and off would have been impossible. A complete waste of money (14 Euros each) Avoid.

This was no hop on hop off. I got on and listed to the headset not a tour guide. The driver drove like a taxi and impossible to learn or see anything. One hour of time wasted and less money in my wallet.

We were left stranded by the red gray line hop on/hop off service at the natural history museum in frankfurt. They didn't turn up to collect us after waiting over an hour. The kind bus driver of the blue service took us as far as the train station. He was very helpful in showing us how to get back to our hotel.

This city has gone down the tubes since I was last here in 2017/18 at the automechanika show in September.
This time in 2022 I was appalled to see open drug dealing at the main train station and the surrounding areas. At all times after the show I felt threatened. I visited Romer/don which is always beautiful but when you get a drunk coloured guy urinating in the square with absolutely no policemen around that was the last straw and I decided never to return to Frankfurt again. As a tourist under no circumstances go into Frankfurt centre

We can hop into the bus and hop out as many times we want and there are lot of frequency so that you don’t have to wait so long for the bus

I bought tickets for my family and I (2 adults and 2 Kids) for the hop-on hop-off tour in Frankfurt (28.05.2022).
I took the bus in bus stop H1. I received the route map and the headphones. I dropped off in H8 to visit old town and financial district. The idea was to hop-on again in stop H9, around 2:30 pm.
I was waiting there for more that 40 minutes and no buses came. I saw the real time bus tracking in your site, only two buses there but only one in movement!!! Your web site said there is a depart every 30 min. That did not happen.
I decided to wait a little bit more ( we were four, 2 adults and two kids of 7 and 4). When finally I saw, from the distance, the blue bus coming, suddenly it changed the route without any stop in H9 where we were waiting for more than 50 minutes, also without any notice!!! Unbelievable that route was changed and nobody inform me us customer.
Due to I was not aware about the “new route” I decided to walk to stop H8. When we arrived, I was waiting there for additional more than 30 minutes without any blue bus coming!!! Exhausted because of the waiting time, the walk and due to I has tickets already bought for the Senckenberg museum ( at that time 4:00pm) I had to take public transportation to arrive to the museum and not missed the paid tickets there.
So this I did not received the service I paid for, a hop-on hop-off service, that normally I used in most of the cities I visited in Europe and America. Also my first visit to Frankfurt was not pleasant as I planned

Took the 1-hour Express Tour from the forecourt of the Hauptbahnhof at 15 mins past the hour, for 13 euros. The bus itself was ok, although only six of us on it; commentary in several different languages, but most of the "commentary" was music as, unfortunately, Frankfurt is a modern city with very little in the way of impressive buildings - mainly bland glass skyscrapers, so very little to talk about. We used the tour to get our bearings, as a means of "killing" the 10-hours between our train arriving and our flight home departing, and partly to try to keep cool in the heat and humidity..

No problem with the tour in general 45 mins spin around the city gives you an idea of what to see, small city compact easy to get around.
