This tour was beautiful and the weather held. Many castles to see and amazing views. Our tour guide was fantastic and full of information about the area. The wine tasting was simple, but covered all the bases regarding German wine from the Rhine Valley. We went as a couple and it was very lovely with wonderful pictures. I would definitely recommend.

Scenic and informative tour a definite MUST SEE TOUR. Not only for the history but for the beautiful scenery. From the historic mineral hot springs of Baden- Baden, to the scenic views of the wine vineyard and altitude views of the Black Forest (1000 feet above sea level). Also to get to the Black Forest you will travel on the famous Autobahn. If you’re lucky to get Willy as your guide you will have an even more enjoyable experience. If you can only afford one trip this is it. It’s an all day event, and it is slowly paced so it is suitable for all ages and physically fit levels. From the hiker to the older senior citizens this is a can’t miss tour. 5 stars.

What an amazing experience. The tour guide was informative as well as funny. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer and he made us feel like we were his only guests. Lunch was excellent as well. Well worth the money.

What an amazing trip! The views were spectacular, the weather was great and atmosphere on the top deck was relaxing and full of great photos and fun. Our entire group had a great day! The tour guides were very informative and helpful . Highly recommend.

Entertaining guide and driver. Beautiful scenery and cute little towns we drove through and stopped at for lunch and the wine tasting. Had a partial rainy day but let up just enough for the River Cruise.

I missed my tour yesterday as I was not feeling well. I called the Viator number on my confirmation email and asked if my unused ticket could be reissued for today or tomorrow. The Viator rep called the tour company on my behalf and the tour company simply said NO! I believe he said he talked to a person named Caroline. I wasn’t asking for a refund. I want to go on the tour that I paid for. This tour company’s customer service is awful. There is no good reason for them not to let me use my ticket. They got my money and don’t care about me as a customer

Our tour guide Alberto was amazing. He had that typical German seriousness but was very comedic about it. Our bus driver was also great. The tour itself was amazing, so glad to have done it! Absolutely stunning. The only thing I wished was that there was more time to explore around the town Heidelberg. We only had an hour and then you had to be back at the bus. However, that timing is dependent upon how long your group took to look around up at the actual castle and go through the pharmacy museum. I would heavily recommend this tour to anyone!!

This was such a fun day trip to cruise the Rhein, eat lunch, visit the Germania monument, and sample local wines. The best part was our tour guide Willie. He was a hoot.

This is such a beautiful cruise!!! You get to see so much of Germany that you just can’t get to see if you’re only in country for a few days. The castles and countryside are breathtakingly beautiful and our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was a little cheesy, but the food was GREAT I saw on other reviews that the wine tasting was about a tablespoon, that’s really not much of an exaggeration, but I didn’t book this for the wine tasting, that was just something extra for me.

Should have read the negative reviews before booking… they were spot on. The food was bland and low quality, the restaurant had tacky souvenirs covering all the space on the walls, ceilings, and most of the floor. Navigating through narrow pathways to our tables in the bathroom felt like a challenge course. The only redeeming part was the boat ride down the Rhine with views of spectacular castles. The public ferry has a top floor where you can enjoy soaking in the rustic and ancient landscape of the Rhine Valley. After feeling refreshed from the boat ride, we were let down by being led back to the same restaurant we lunched. It got worse as we found ourselves in a smaller, more crowded room in the back for wine tasting. As per the other reviews, the wine tasting was cheap wine (€26-45 per bottle) in half filled shot glasses. The ice wine was the only one that was unique, but would classify it as a dessert wine. We left very ready to be done with the tour and head home. Overall, would not recommend.

Definitly worth the money!!! The guides were very funny and also included suggestions for other activities during our visit. The resturant was ......"unique".

This was an enjoyable tour and the boat ride was just long enough. The actual trip may not work out exactly as described but Michael did a good job keeping us informed. We had a great time seeing the scenery and participating in the fun activities.

It was all amazing, the drive was beautiful, scenic, fun, short and comfortable and with -AC, thank God. Everything was beautiful and perfect until on one of the last stops the group took pff on the wrong scenic lift and 90% of got separated, fortunately we stayed as a group and eventually found our bus but 2 singles never made it and we couldnt reach them and we missed our wine tasting :(. Moral of the story: stick together! And get drivers emergency contact info.

This was a lovely trip and our guide, Michael, was fun and informative. We wanted to see castles on the Rhine and taste local wines, and were able to do both. We had beautiful weather and the boat trip was just long enough.

As someone who made Frankfurt our travel base for our trip - we were thankful for this tour. It is true the food was just okay and wine tasting mostly pointless but the tour guide was friendly & we got to see a lot. The bus driver was a safe driver as well.
