C CLASSIC LINE . I am really upset that the bus driver advised us there were no more C hop on hop off buses at 13.19 on the 7th January, I boarded his bus with my 84 year old mother at 9.31am please see my receipt attached. We did the loop then got off at the Town Hall for a toilet and coffee break and wanted to get back on the hop on/off bus again at 13.19 in the afternoon where the same driver arrived and shouted at us and said there are no more buses, finished, I tried to ask him why but he was just rude, waved his arms and shouted "all finished". I paid for a hop on /off service that I did not receive, he would have left other travellers stranded along the route, and we could well have been one of them!

We arrived in Hamburg and took the tour from near the City Hall on one of the yellow/red buses. As we were driving around the Alster lake we decided to get off for a walk, I checked the front of the bus so we would know which one to get back on...'C-line'. After finding a lovely coffee shop we headed back to the bus stop. Three buses pulled up and we got on the red and yellow 'C line' however the driver tried to tell us our bus was one of ones in front, which had already departed, and refused to let us board. It was clearly the right bus. Luckily another bus pulled up ten minutes later, one of the red ones, and after a conversation with the driver, and him reiterating that we were correct and our bus was a red/yellow one, he kindly allowed us to get on his bus, and he even added in some English commentary too. What a lovely man! We were so grateful as we were concerned about being abandoned and how long it might take us to get back to the city.

We booked for 1800 but we were told by the company at the site there wasn't a 1800 we had to be there for 1600 (be here for 4 at dock 4 we were told), sad really because we wanted to sail for the evening lights, it wasn't dark enough. I would have given a 1 star but the staff onboard the vessel we lovely and it was a beautiful boat.

Detailed and balanced tour of the red light district, pointing out the fun old stories and the hard lives of the women. The tour even included a beer, which was nice!

Beautiful tour of Hamburg’s Speicherstadt and working harbour by night. Gives a unique view of the city. Elbphilharmonie - superb sight. Get there early to get your spot… and forget about queueing! With usual German attention to having a good time, you can order a beer or wine at your table, from a very genial waiter. I left this tour even more in love with Hamburg than when we set off.

As we do not speak German, we had to pay extra for an audioguide. They only asked if we had smartphones with us, which we had. But they never asked if we had earphones, which are absolutely necessary to hear the commentary. When I wrote to ask for a refund, they answered they would not give us any because we had paid cash for our tickets and had no proof of purchase. I think the one who should be suspected of dishonesty is not me but the Abicht company !

Buses for the most part were on schedule and with 4 routes it got you around the area. We took the red route which circles through Athens and the blue route the next day which took us down around the cruise terminals

Nice quiet evening tour, can sit inside or outside - better views and possibilities for photos if outside (depending on weather), food and drink options inside

We hopped on to the blue hop on hop off bus outside the miniature Wunderland . The trip advertised included the old fish market so was longer than the regular tour. Driver was great as were the stops and views of this glorious city. The journey was let down by a continuous very loud commentary in German over the tannoy. We found the plug in ear phones and dodgy connection of the sound system gave a useless commentary for the English speaking channel. I would definitely try a different company for a tour as this spoiled our appreciation of this amazing city.

It’s just ok. When I read other reviews I thought maybe they did not follow the instructions. Let me give you a bit more details. I did download the app to listen the tour in English. The app does explain maybe 60% of the tour (the most important sites). When we enter the Speicherstadt area (canals), even before that area, there is no explanation in the app. Literally the last 30 to 45 min of the tour I don’t know what exactly I looked at or the importance of them. At that point I just took random photos or videos… Also if you order anything on the boat make sure to bring cash in euros. They don’t take dollars. When you want to pay with card, there is a 10 euros minimum charge… so over all it was disappointing, in a country like Germany.

Took the 1.5 hour harbour trip. Downloaded the app as recommended so we could understand the commentary. The app started off as we left the dock and then the commentary stopped. It did return for another five minutes later on. Slightly disappointed as we knew the commentary was going to be in German but thought the app would allow us to listen in English Trip took us to Speicherstadt one way and then down to the container port and cruise terminal Recommend if you are English and happy yo fo without commentary or understanding of sites

The your route gave us a good understanding of Hamburg and where we might want to go We had earphones yo listen in English however the German commentary was so loud it was difficult to listen via the earphones which totally spoilt the commentary We have done hop on hop off buses in other cities around Europe snd the time you buy the ticket runs until the same time 24 hours later. These tickets run from when you buy the tickets until close of business the same day. We did not realise this do the ticket was very expensive from the time purchased 1pm. 16euros each

This was one my best experiences in Hamburg. I was impressed with all of the activities taking place in the harbor. I did not need to understand German to know what I was looking at.......

Great trip taking us through a lot of districts we would never have visited. Luka was an excellent tour guide, very friendly & knowledgeable

Odd tour all the way around. Started with confusion with the staff on where it started. “Brucke 7. No Brucke 1. No it’s Brucke 7.” In the end we went to Brucke 1 - like it told us on the email and got on a boat. It ended up being the right boat for the 1:30 tour and we left at 1:02! Once we got on, everyone else on the boat had been offered beverages. No one offered us any. As for the actual tour, it needed more time near the HafenCity for me. It spent about 10-15 minutes in that area and the rest of it was about shipping and industry. Odd. Strange. Ok.
