What to expect
Begin this guided Hamburg bike tour by meeting in the St. Pauli district. Get acquainted with your bike and then stop at Heiligengeistfeld, where you see a World War II bunker and FC St. Pauli football stadium.
As you pedal along Jungfernstieg promenade, pause to look at town hall and the warehouse district. Then, visit the city’s youngest district, HafenCity. Your guide points out the music house (Elbphilharmonie), which is one of the largest concert halls in the world.
The next stop is St. Michael’s Church. Travel back into St. Pauli with various stops along the red-light district area, near the Reeperbahn. The most scenic part of the journey is the ride along the waterfront and the Alster Lakes. The tour ends near the Reeperbahn (which means ropewalk)—the entertainment and nightlife district.

Savy was a wonderful tourguide, and the city is impressive! Loved his knowledge and humor, it turned out he is in leadership development as well! We had a lot in common.
To me, not living in Europe, the 33 euro's is a lot of money, but Savy makes it worth the investment!

Savvy was a great tour guide, and we learned many things about the city and its history. The tour is definitely for people who know how to ride a bike, and there are some big intersections and traffic.
I highly recommend this tour asap in your visit so that you can decide what you want to come back and revisit later on.

Excellent way to really experience the different Hamburg stages. We got to see St Pauli with its bohemian party vibe; the different government buildings which are amazing; the lower Alster shopping district, and impressive architecture and off course the port and port area which has the most notorious landmark, the Elbphilarmonie.
There is no other way you could enjoy so much in a three hour like in a bike which I have to say was in perfect condition and really confortable. Special honorable mention to Savvy our tour guide who has a lot of knowledge and showed a lot of experience showing us the city. He has a great sense of humor and was very patient with us.
Thanks

Good value for the money. Comprehensive 3+ hour tour. Our guide Savvy was great, very knowledgeable and friendly. Large group size (14) was a bit unwieldy with the group often getting split up at traffic lights. Savvy was good about waiting and keeping group together.

We enjoyed seeing the city and learning about it from our tour guide, Savvy. He was knowledgeable and well spoken. Willing to answer any questions and a good sport. Our group had 16 people in it and he spoke In English. Fun way to explore a new city.

I will be visiting Hamburg for two days and I would like to join the tour, but it seems one person can not sign up. Is this a bike tour for couples only?

Thank you. I went directly to the Hamburg City Cycles website to make a reservation. I am not sure why tripadivsor will not allow single reservations?

You would have to get in touch with them for accurate timings. All I can say is that the tour was excellent and we had to leave a bit early to join a pre booked Beatles tour!

het lijkt mij leuk om deze bike tour te boeken maar als ik lees dat er soms wel 19 mensen mee fietsen , dat vind ik echt teveel.
