A great place to see Passau and 3 rivers joining together
The view is great. We saw Passau old town and 3 rivers joined together. The castle does not have much to see and the museum is so so.

    Home of Baroque Classical Music
Located in the former East Germany, this central German city has been home to renowned baroque classical musicians namely Bach (father and sons), Schumann, Mendelssohn, Wagner among others. It was partially destroyed during WWII so it has a combination of original, reconstructed and new buildings all side by side. Another historic importance was the 1989 protest that called for German reunification. It’s a walkable city, all of which can be seen in a day.

    Freiburg sightseeing
The Freiburg Historic Walking Tour was fantastic! As a first-time visitor, I found the tour perfect for getting acquainted with the city's top attractions. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, providing fascinating insights into Freiburg's history and culture. The tour covered beautiful spots like the Freiburg Cathedral and the scenic Old Town. The pace was just right, making it enjoyable and informative. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Freiburg!

The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area. He spoke loudly, kept a good pace, and showed us lots of history, past and present. I highly recommend this tour.

    Worthwhile Tour
Beautiful town where the Moselle meets the Rhine! Benjamin was our tour guide, and he provided details about art, architecture, and sculpture that made our trek especially enjoyable. Basilica of St. Kastor's courtyard was in bloom. Loved the story of Lady Peppermint.

    Goslar, Germany
Organised by Railtrail for our group on visit to the region. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. The tour lasted a good 2 hours exploring the attractive town.

Must do a guided tour of Goslar to see all the history and hidden gems! Best done in sneakers as it's all cobblestones!
There are so many layers to Goslar as an UNESCO World heritage town that you won't know where to start and what to see. We spent more than 90 minutes with an english-speaking guide that took us into all the narrow winding alleyways to all the main attractions and hidden gems, especially the oldest buildings. We saw special features of the architecture, learned about the history of Goslar, religion, power, art, business - so varied in its content. It was rather long and we were getting to the point where we just couldn't walk much more. There aren't many places to sit so just tell your guide when you've had enough as they are so passionate about the town that they'll happily go on. But they are highly knowledgeable and can answer just about any question anyone has.

Great inner city and historical journey await you!
Claudia was our energetic guide to bring Rothenberg to light. We walked through the Gallows tower gate and began our journey through a medieval era of Rothenberg. We walked through the town learning beautiful historical facts of this town. I wish we had more time to stay and learn. There’s gems waiting to be discovered as you walk along the inner walls! Great guide, great tour! Highly recommend!

    Beautiful Historic City
There were no English tours to join but the Information Center were excellent in offering a self guided map (€2) with all the highlights and explanations. Although we didn’t get the full experience we loved every moment walking this beautiful historic city.

    Beautiful area, full of history
The views from the river side are spectacular. The cable car offers an additional attraction and leads to the fortress on the hill. There is something for everyone here so just walk and explore.

    Great Koblenz experience
Highly recommend visiting the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and this tour in particular. We took the Seilbahn (cable car) from the Deutsches Eck up to the fortress, took a short walk to the entrance and met our guide there. We had an excellent local guide, with professional knowledge of history and very good english -- could not wish a better guide. The views of the city from above are another reason to visit.

    Disappointing town.
Reading about Koblenz, we were expecting a different town image. We did not see any old buildings. The town center is small. We read this town suffered a lot of damage during the war. Did not see anything that was worth the visit other than the area point where Rhine and Mosel rivers meet and full of those touristy boats like the Viking and such. The cable car only takes across the water up to the fortress but you still need to pay extra to get into the museum. At least we visited this town and checked off our list.
