Their service is so easy to schedule. We used them to schedule a ride to the airport in Berlin. Our driver was on time with a nice clean vehicle and we made it in plenty of time for our flight. Would definitely use their service again.

Booked a transfer from Berlin-Brandenburg airport to hotel in Berlin Friedrichstrasse. Taxi driver didn't contact us after our arrival, nor had he a sign with our name on as stated in Welcome Pickup email. We located him 20 minutes later in the car parking area, talking on his phone to his brother (somewhere in India???). He continued talking on his phone until about 10 minutes from the hotel, when he then started engaing ith us. The delay cost us our dinner reservation which was held until 21:00; we arrived at hotel around 09:25. A bit disappointing, especially after a long days' travelling.

I have had some experience with pre-hired cars in the United States, Europe and the Middle East. All those encounters were happy ones. Then came Welcome Pickups. The Welcome Pickups’s website was clear enough. Its description of how delays and other problems were handled seemed straight forward – e.g. you must notify your assigned driver of the difficulty, reschedule the same route and be prepared to document that the fault not yours, but the carriers. Fair enough in theory. Booked a $400 trip from Berlin Airport to our destination in Weimar – more than twice the price of a train, but, we felt, worth avoiding a three-hour, three-change ordeal after a twelve-hour red-eye from the States. Fair in theory did not translate into fair in practice. An aircraft malfunction left us unexpectedly overnight in Reykjavik. I messaged our driver immediately. She responded that I needed to rebook through the website. The nightmare began. The only option was to repay the full fare. There was no telephone number or email address. The chat option never connected to a human and the minimally programmed robot had no response to my questions. On the assumption that it all could be worked out later, I was willing to repay, now at a higher price, but not until we were absolutely certain that our rebooked flight would not also be delayed. Once we were in the air and our on-time arrival assured, I attempted the re-booking. The only response after multiple tries on different devices was: “the order is outdated.” The driver tried to help, but even she could not get through to Welcome Pickups. Utter frustration: we took made the final leg of the journey by train. After providing proof of the airline’s fault in my delay, I did receive a full refund.

I have previously used Welcome Pickups in Berlin many times between our home and the airport, and it has all gone smoothly. However on our recent trip to London we encountered a small problem, which the company has completely failed to address, despite me contacting them twice through the 'chat' function on the app and once via the email address. Over two weeks later I've had no reply whatsoever, despite them promising a 'two hour response time'. I really resent them taking money for a service that was not provided, and then failing to respond to comments. It is theft as well as bad customer service. Definitely not recommended.

Scheduled a ride from Berlin to airport less than 12 hours ahead of time. Driver arrived early and it was a pleasant ride. She was very courteous and professional and the cost was reasonable.

My flight was delayed and there was a long queue at customs - driver left without any discussion even when I have paid for the transfer. I was told I can’t get a refund, terrible service.

Got scammed by company colleuge, of welcome pick ups and after cancelling booking 24 prior to arrival welcome pick ups have taken the full amount not a 20 percent cancellation fee ,awful complaints contact system gives you the runaround

My driver was very communicative and offered clear instructions where to rendezvous . It was easy to book and a nice transition from airport to hotel.

I had the worst experience with Welcome Pickups. I was to be met at arrivals but when I cleared customs there was no sign of anyone holding up my name. I spent over 50 minutes running up and down the area, struggling with my luggage, until I received a text saying the trip had been terminated as I hadn't shown up. I cannot explain why the sign with my name wasn't clearly shown. I checked out every driver holding up a sign. After a 27 hour flight this was the last thing I needed. I had to take a taxi which doubled the cost for me, not to mention the stress. Needless to say I have been told I don't qualify for a refund. To add insult to injury I've just received an invitation to nook my return trip!

This is a scam, booked for an airport pick up in Berlin for June 12 23 but did not get any email verifying driver details despite numerous requests. Automated emails and no way of contacting them directly. Cancelled and 20% was deducted. This is a scam to book, force you to cancel and take 20%. I booked a regular airport taxi which is legit and more reliable. Will never use them.

Welcome Pickups took us from the airport to Berlin city center. Everything went smoothly. Our driver arrived on time, car was nice and clean and the driver was very fiendly

I used this taxi service from the airport to the hotel, and back again a few days later, the drivers were perfectly on time, friendly and helpful both times.

NEVER AGAIN! Driver didn’t show up. Finally was picked up by another driver about 40 minutes late. Total disaster. Almost missed my plane.
