We got a terrific private driving tour. Our guide Frank spoke excellent English and filled our 3 hours with many stops, and carefully explained everything we saw. He customized the tour to our interests. Harald was very helpful when booking. We only had 1 day in Berlin, this was definitely the way to efficiently see a lot in a short amount of time. I needed to find an activity for 50 people, with quite a young audience (mainly 25-35), I came across Harald when searching online, he did a private 3 hour coach tour for us, he was brilliant with his knowledge, and the places he took us too, the commentary wasn't too much, or too little, just enough information for the age of our group, I always do a feedback survey when we do these 3 day work trips

harald was a wonderful guide. He was on time, our car was clean and well maintained, our driver spoke English and knew his way driving through the city traffic. Herald customized a tour for us based on our interests. He even addded a few things that were places only a local would know about. His knowledge of Berlin was very impressive from history to art /architecture culture including the music scene. My husband had some difficulty walking and Harold made certain that my husband could see all the sights. Highly recommend!

Harald is an excellent guide with very good English so, easy to understand. We were taking on a walking tour of Berlin the day after we arrived and met at our hotel. We went to all the essential sights which also us a great sense of how to get around for the other days without Harald. I agree with the description because Berlin is a big city and the tour gives you a great orientation experience. Overall we were completely satisfied with the tour and Harald himself is super friendly. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed.

We found Harald Zawuski (Private Tour Berlin) on the internet. He was super helpful. We started out with our list of what we thought we wanted to see. Harald sent us the itineraries for 4 of his popular tours that included the things we wanted, and more, to help us plan. Ultimately we developed a list of the 15-20 places and sights we wanted to see. Then we left it to Harald to fit it all together. We had two days with Harald and a driver for 4 hours/day. We were able to see everything on our list plus more. We actually covered more than 30 places! This also allowed us to decide which places to go back to and spend more time. Harald is supremely knowledgeable about German history and all that is Berlin. He was able to add context around what we were looking at rather than just saying "this is the Brandenburg Gate" etc. Whether you take one of his standard tours or build your own you will have a custom experience at a fair price with a knowledgeable English speaker. He loves what he does and it shows. I suggest spending your first couple days in Berlin with Harald and then use the remainder of your visit to go back and explore the sights that interest you most in more depth.

We’re so lucky to have done this private tour. It was just my sister and I and we learned and experienced so much. Having a driver and a guide was fantastic. All questions were answered and navigating the city was fun and so stress free. This was our first time visiting Germany. We enjoyed our Berlin tour so much, we know we must return.

We asked for a all private tour over 5h, taking us to the main historical sites, and that the tour take into account that we had two kids, aged 12 and 2. car was great and came as requested with a car seat for a youngest daughter. Tour was exactly what we wanted and more! Harald is amazing at bringing history alive and tie it into the places that we saw. Our 12 year old was so fascinated and never once asked "how much longer until this is done?". this tour was a perfect way to get an overview of the city and its past. We will for sure be returning customors!

My wife and I decided to split our tour with Harald into two successive four-hour days. We appreciated his and his driver's flexibility. Before our first tour began, Harald and we went over Harald's list together at our hotel. I wanted to see as much as possible. Harald took a practical approach, given the time parameters we had set, and together we pared down the list slightly. Harald is very knowledgeable and communicated in both a direct and nuanced way, with a good sense of humor and with irony. There was poignancy without over-sentimentality. We enjoyed his company as well as appreciating his edifying us. I had been to Berlin before, three times in the 1960s, had known about the many changes since The Wall came down, but had not yet personally experienced them. Harald made sure to thoroughly cover that aspect of the tour. We learned about many new details, such as the Stumbling Stones project. In these kinds of tours, there is always a question of balance between between detail and scope. Harald achieved that balance: each time I began to give in to my tendency to spend too much time at a site to the sacrifice of not enough time at a following site, Harald would keep things moving without any feeling of being rushed. He also gave us many good suggestions on things to do on our own as the tour progressed. His timing was excellent. In short, both my wife and I highly recommend Harald as a private tour guide for anyone's visit to Berlin.

A nice clean van was waiting at the pier for us. We made good time to Berlin. Harold met us and we spent the next several hours seeing, but just as important learning of the city and its people. This heritage site is both impressive and emotionally powerful notwithstanding it’s simplicity. It is very large, consuming a great deal of space. Take the time to walk among the blocks of stone some of which are sizable.. It is a place to be respected as it is a reminder of a very dark time in modern history.

We wanted to make the best use of our short time in Berlin. We knew that we would be tired after an overnight flight from the USA. We booked a 3 hour driving tour with Harald to show us around Berlin. He did just that in a relaxing yet informative way! He even recommended a few restaurants for dinner that we could try near our hotel!

Best investment we could have made was having Harald Z give us a tour of Berlin. The air conditioned van was awesome and Harald provided a great perspective of East and West Berlin. Answered all of our question, even the dumb ones. Helped us really understand the big city and provided a great perspective on many different history topics. Highly recommend!!
