About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- paulinewK8354CQ0 contributionsDisorganised chaos!Wow! What can I say? Absolutely nothing positive!! Queue starts at check-in, spirals around check-in hall, right through to security. Here there were only 2 of the 6/7 check points open. (the queue at least an hour long in the security area alone by this point). When half of the queue had successfully negotiated the chaotic system, another security gate opened. To cap it off, our security belt then shuddered to a halt! Officials were obviously awaiting divine intervention, and didn't have a clue! For an advanced country like Germany, the organisation was ludicrous at best. No idea how many passengers missed gate closures. We made it by 7 minutes, thanks only to allowing almost 4 hours journey time from the city!Written December 18, 2023
- francesw990 contributionsPotsdam Walking Tour Poor logistics. The logistics of this trip are poor. Our guide informed us that the included transport was slow and spasmodic on a long weekend and that we should purchase, at an extra expense of 25 euros each, tickets on the faster train. He obtained the tickets on his phoned and required us to repay him in cash, a very unprofessional arrangement. As it was we had to wait 30 minutes for the fast train. When we got to Potsdam, we went to get tickets to visit the interior of the palaces. There were no tickets available until 2:30pm, which meant that we couldn't visit the interior of the palaces within the time frame of our tour. If we had been informed of this we would have purchased the tickets in advance. We stopped for lunch at a cafe, which had very slow service. Our guide knew this as he said multiple times as we were waiting for our meals, that 'this place always is slow'.It would have been much better if he had said this up front and directed us elsewhere. Due to lost time we didn't get to the Dutch quarter. Our guide did not seem to have any more information than was in the public brochure. We finished the tour thinking that it would have been a much better experience if we had gone by ourselves.Written June 2, 2023

- GabrielN_YYZ0 contributionsWorst Tour CompanyThis is going to be a longish review. If I could give Remaz Tours 0 stars, I would, this was the worst experience I ever had of all the numerous trips I have made over the years. Remaz Tours are out there to scam people. Before I even left for the "Magnificent Tour package of Dubai", when I was sent the vouchers for the hotel I discovered that they have changed the advertised hotel (Emirates Grand Hotel which is close to the Burj Khalifa and looks very nice, with goo reviews on TripAdvisor) to AL Khaleej Plaza which is way out, close to the airport. It turned out to be even more horrible than I thought, it is dirty, dated (looks like something from the 1960s), even seedy (2 star hotel). When I complained, I was offered an even worse hotel option! The reception staff was nice and helpful but that didn't make up for the overall bad impression. The breakfast was also very poor. Then the first morning I had a "city tour" planned by Remaz Tours. I was given a one hour window to be picked up. After that hour I started calling the local rep several times but they didn't answer the phone. I sent some messages to Remaz Tours through TourRadar (that's where I found this package) and finally after 2 hours I was informed that the tour is cancelled. I was refunded (about $30) and I decided to get a hop-on hop-off day pass which was more than double that price! I had to cut it short actually because in the evening I had a Dhow Cruise starting at 6pm. I was supposed to be picked up between 4 and 5pm, I was picked up at 5:30 and dropped at the wharf just before 6pm with the following: wait here 5-10 minutes and the ship will come. The ship came about 30 minutes later and as more and more people were dropped off, there was a total chaos boarding it. We finally started our 6pm cruise at 8pm! The ship itself was awful, the food they served was even worse, cold and tasteless, I couldn't see much of Dubai from the seat I was directed to sit down. The last activity was the "Desert Safari". The same story - pickup between 2-3pm, actual pickup at 3:30. Again, a huge crowd, the same awful food as on the "cruise", long lines to get any food from the open "buffet", lots of waiting before anything started. The last straw came at the checkout from the hotel. When I checked-in, they asked for 60AED city tax which was not included in the package AND a 200AED deposit in case I have expenses at the minibar, etc. I paid with my credit card, thinking that the deposit will be refunded on the credit card. The receptionist took out a 200AED banknote for the refund and said they cannot refund my credit card as the charge already went through. EVERYBODY can refund on a credit card!!!! After some fuss, he agreed to give me some US$ in cash and some AED which luckily I could spend at the Duty Free. What exactly do they think that someone can do with 200AED at 2am before leaving the country at 4am? Oh yes, the pickup for the airport was 5-10 minutes late as well but I got there in time. Glad that I am home! The only good experience related to Dubai was the flight with Emirates which I bought separately. Please DO NOT USE REMAZ Tours if you want to enjoy your vacation. Again, it is the WORST experience I ever had on a trip (I have visited 70 countries so far!). Anyways, Dubai is overrated in my opinion, it's boring, has no personality. I went there only for 3 days/4 nights after a wonderful trip to Egypt (fortunately not with Remaz Tours). I don't write many reviews, but this experience was so bad that I wanted to warn potential Remaz customers.Written December 31, 2019
- JustLoveToFly0 contributionsEnjoyable TourTook a 6-hour tour to Potsdam from Berlin (including hotel pick up and drop off by public transportation and walking with the guide). Went on a Monday and hence the Palace in Potsdam was closed. Would have been nice if I was informed of this in advance. Nonetheless, it was still an enjoyable trip with lots to see. Loved walking through the X'mas Market as well. Potsdam is a must visit since it is so close to Berlin.Written December 17, 2019
- emildar0 contributionsBerlin city tour- not really recommendedWe visited berlin; tour guide phillipe was informative but not in a very interesting way, he was helpful when asked but i guess it was because he was covering for his colleague who originally suppose to be our tour guide. So maybe lack of preperation. But phillipe was friendly and helpful in general.Written October 22, 2019
- Anil B0 contributionsa small and beautiful historical cityTaking half day tour of Potsdam was too little and short I visited from Berlin. The best way to experience the flavor of the city is to stay their for two days. its only 25 km from Berlin and can be reached by train or public transport old houses the palaces and the original Brandenburg gate is all there to savorWritten August 4, 2019
- Alberto C0 contributionsBarnderburg cityInformative and good tour in general. Not as excited as Postdam of course but a pleasant surprise. Good tour guide (Sara)Written August 4, 2019
- 627reinad0 contributionsWorth Ride to takeExcellent ride, the car and the driver were inmaculate. The driver was on time and very polite. He was very helpful with the luggage and was an excellent driver. It is worth to arrange this trip with Remaz tour avoid being late to the airport. The communication before hand with Remaz Tours was very helpful as well. They send us the information about the time to pick up with enough time. I will definetely use them again.Written June 20, 2019
