An experience worth experiencing in Berlin. Cosmic Comedy Club holds at least three variety
shows a week, with their Thursday night shows being open mic, while their Friday and
Saturday night shows feature more prominent comedians. Due to our travel plans, we could
only attend the Thursday night show in which tickets needed to be bought in advance.
We purchased the VIP tickets which gave us a couple of free shots and vegetarian/vegan pizza
and our own table. The pizza is free for each ticket, VIP or not, while the shots seemed to only
be free for the purchase of VIP tickets. However, if you're lucky, there is a chance that free
shots are given out to everyone for a short period of time.
There is also a small bar in the vicinity of the comedy club, for an hour between 7-8pm, you'd
be able to purchase as much promotional alcohol as you want, but prices return to full price
from 8pm till the end of the show. There are also small snacks you can purchase from the bar,
snacks like chocolate bars, peanuts and other hand held food.
Due to our travel plans, we could only attend their open mic show on Thursday, and we were
surprised by how packed it was. The show was great and we had a great time, although open
mic, the comedians did put on a good show and so they deserve double thumbs up for the
effort. The only downside was how cramped the place was. Our table was at the front and
corner of the stage, and so our chairs were squashed between the table next to us and one
directly behind us. It was inconvenient to stand up, head to the toilet or even get to the bar. But
it was clear that they had to pack as many chairs and tables as possible to accommodate the sheer number of people there. The entry fee is not at all pricey, even the VIP tickets were extremely affordable and worthwhile, not to forget you receive free shots and pizza. Hence, it is understandable that they need to cover the costs by selling tickets and having as many people as possible with each show.
The audiences were friendly, even though we did not know anyone in Berlin, the other
attendees were easy to talk to and open to small talk. Everyone is there to have a laugh and a
good time, and that is exactly where you'll be able to experience the light hearted side of
Berlin.
It was a good close to our trip.

I found out about this amazing show by accident and it turned out to be one of the best things I have done during my stay in Berlin! The atmosphere in the club was amazing, full of good vibes. The free pizzas were abundant and super tasty. The energy of Neil and Dharmander (the hosts) were on another level as well, making all of us holding our stomach because of laughters. For the price that they ask for, it's totally worth it and going to their show will definitely be a must-do activity for me every time I visit Berlin!

My partner and I visited the comedy club on Monday of this week. We were seated in the front and were well fed from the provided pizza. The shots were a welcome treat too! The comedians were fab and although some were just starting out it seemed a great opportunity for them to hone their act and try out material. The host for the evening Neil was hysterical and he was definitely one of the highlights!! From one Scot to another your smashing it mate!

The venue is very cool and the show was fun. It's in the bottom of a travelers hostel so the crowd was young and touristy, typical for Berlin comedy shows. It was Brexit night and the comedians were British. My friend and I only stayed for the first half, two comedians who were both chubby white dudes, perhaps they got a discount on a bulk purchase. The comedy was not bad, helped by the hysterical over-hyping of the host Dharmander who is like a frenetic Indian elf with a good sense of humor but a bad Russian accent. I had fun but not so much fun that I had to stay for the second half.

Hey hey Douglas thanks for the witty review . We do open mics on Mondays and Thursdays, I totally think you should come down and give it a go. I am sorry that you didn't like the chubby white dudes( is that racist/fattist?) but are glad you were entertained by my over hyping. I will try to work on my Russian accent. Good things first: the MC was friendly and the pizza was good.
Now for the not so good: the comedy show itself. It was so un-funny we had to leave in the break. It wasn’t just not funny, it was cringeworthy. Like, awkward dances / sound effects / party tricks type of humor. They used jokes from cracker wrappers. That kind of humor. It was like watching an 10 year old boy improvise a comedy show and you have to smile and clap to be supportive.

A fun show and great atmosphere. I love the small scale and inclusivity - the master of ceremonies is also the doorman and delivers many of the best gags. The humour is often crude but never offensive.

I'm a comedian who got on the line up while visiting Berlin. Great place for comedy. I could tell that the hosts really care about the show's and work hard to give a good comedy experience to the audience.

Everyone made the same childlike jokes. No substance and very superficial “humour”. The host was especially weird and obnoxious. We have more fun now after the show just thinking about how awkwardly terrible it was than we did during the show watching adults who never grew out of their 5-year-old sense of humour.

Thank you for your interesting comments. Very surprising review as the room was full of 130 people who really enjoyed the show. We received feedback from other audience members that did not match your perception at all. None of the performers or the host have ever received the assessment that was given by you.
However, you at least did get a laugh at the end of the night. Please feel free to come and do a spot at one of our Thursday Open-Mic shows, so you may show us what "adult-like" comedy should be like. Normally there is a 4 week wait to get a spot, but we will give obvious comedy connoisseurs like yourselves priority. We look forward to hearing from you. All the best, Team Cosmic Comedy

Went in October 2022 and was overall a great night. Staff were super friendly. Comics were so funny. Pizza and free shots, literally cannot complain.
Really recommend if you are looking for something a little different to do.

I'm leaving this excellent review so the MC Dar can show his brother he is in the flight magazine! Also because it was great fun! I went alone...an older single woman traveling through Berlin...and I was warmly welcomed and felt right at home. It felt good to laugh. Excellent comedians! Highly recommend!

Is the show on July 2nd, 2022 appropriate for all ages? Our youngest child is 12 years old...we will be in Berlin with our children during this time...
