Tasty Foods in a Great Neighborhood!
Our food tour was great! Violeta, our guide, was highly knowledgeable about the neighborhood and the wider city. She was exceedingly personable and helpful, giving us a lively and energetic tour. She offered us a variety of tasty and interesting foods, and even bought us beers that we were able to sip as we walked through the neighborhood. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyane.

    Great Food Tour in Berlin
Excellent tour! Tiago was as a great guide. We tasted several types of delicious food and heard interesting stories about Berlin and the area where we were walking. Highly recommended.

    Great guide, not enough food
Violetta was an excellent guide so our rating does not relate to her. She was knowledgable and friendly. Our issue with the tour was that it was too much $$$ for what we were given. For the amount of money this tour cost, we should have had at least a full currywurst and a whole donut.

    Great Food and Great Tour
Our food tour got off to a difficult start due to a change of starting. points. Apparently email notification had been sent, but I never received mine. Our tour guide contacted us, and was able to wait until our cab caught up. The tour itself was quite delightful, We are Happie buns, falafel sandwiches and cinnamon rolls. Throughout, our guide was hospitable and accommodating.

    Fun and delicious evening!
This food tour was so much fun, thanks to our great guide Elena. We sampled all kinds of food, including vegan donuts, currywurst, Turkish food, and a bunch of different snacks from a night market. We drank a beer on the walk and had a glass of wine at the market, all included. Elena not only introduced us to a great selection of food, but also gave us interesting insights into the neighborhood, and was just a joy to be with—her enthusiasm was contagious and our small group had a lovely time chatting with her and with each other, and eating our way through the evening. Definitely recommend!

    A superb day out
We have had such a fantastic day with our guide Violeta. She is extremely knowledgeable about Berlin, and the history that has shaped the city. She took us to some amazing eateries where we tried a huge range of foods and beers. By the end we had become friends and really enjoyed her company. Thanks so much for such a fantastic day!

    Great name. Great Tour.
Oh my! I really LOVE a food tour. It's the perfect way to explore a city, ask questions and eat a range of different treats. Elena was fantastic. She properly made me laugh (later found out she's a trained actress and it fits - she's so expresive and engaging!) We were the only ones on the tour (because it's January!) which meant we could ask lots of questions and speak to the lovely American fella who came along because he's training to be a tour guide too. The four of us had a brilliant time. All of the stops were slightly different and had a story of why they featured. The falafel is still one of the best things I've eaten! Brilliant. Highly recommend!

Great variety of food and amazing host!
My boyfriend and I always try to do a food tour when we visit new places, and this was top-notch. Great mix of sweet and savory and a diverse set of cultures. Our guide, Elena, was AWESOME! The group just ended up being us three, and she was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to. She gave us lots of great recommendations for food and more in Berlin for the remainder of our time here!

Unique pop up tour - check their Instagram!
I joined Fork & Walk for the pop-up Dong Xuan Center tour I saw on Instagram. This is such an under-explored part of Berlin, and it’s quite hard to access or know what’s going on if you don’t have a guide. Our guide, Paul, spoke fluent Vietnamese and English and lead us through his favourite Vietnamese classics he ate growing up in a Vietnamese household in the US, and from his time living in Hanoi. This was an amazing, unique experience. I tried so many different foods and left more than full, carrying a box of leftovers to enjoy!

Must do food tour of Berlin Mitte!
Great tour with Elena. I've been to Berlin dozens of times over the years and still learnt a lot on the tour. I was also stuffed at the end after visiting some cool new spots in the city that I'll definitely come back to! Thanks Elena!

Visit Gendarmenmarket in Berlin for a superb Christmas Market experience
Berlin has fantastic Christmas markets! The Gendarmenmarket Christmas market is unique and special. Beautiful stands, lots of original decorations and handmade items. Best of all, numerous ways to get out of the freezing cold because it has indoors arts and crafts stands and indoor restaurants where you can sit down if you don’t want to stand outside to nosh on Wursts and drink Gluwein.

    Worth doing
A fascinating tour of parts of Berlin I would not have otherwise seen. Elena knew her neighborhood and shared interesting information. The food was delicious with choices involved, and dietary needs were supported without fuss. Very enjoyable!

The guide was extremely friendly, funny and knowledgeable, the mix of food places very good (from "everyday" to "exotic") and the food itself was gorgeous - highly recommended to get to know your "Prenzlberg"!

I cannot recommend Fork & Walk Tours more highly!

I originally booked the Main Sights tour for my boyfriend and me on a whim while searching for fun things to do in Berlin. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled on short notice but Dov (the founder and manager) sent me a personal email apologizing for the inconvenience and offered the option to book us a private tour. He was very responsive and helpful in working out the logistics.

The tour was exactly what I hoped for and more. Jane, our guide, took us through the streets of Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte, stopping at various sights along the way including Mauerpark, the Kulturbrauerei and the Berlin Wall Memorial. The tour was a nice balance of touristy and off-the-beaten-path and the food was amazing and really gave us a *taste* of the rich diversity of Berlin's culinary traditions. Jane was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and offered a relaxed and delightful experience.

This was definitely not our last tour!

If you're looking for a fun, delicious, and interesting way to explore Berlin, look no further because Fork and Walk is pretty much it.

We were lucky enough to get Dov (who looks like Gene Wilder, I was struggling to place it the whole tour lol) as our guide and he was great.Truly the Wonka to our Berlin food factory tour. Very funny, personable, and most important, filled with tons of knowledge about the neighborhood and Berlin. I don't think we had a question that he couldn't answer; dude was a walking encyclopedia.

On the history side, I loved the mix of places that we went to. There were so many hidden gems that I would have never found on my own, but that helped tell Berlin's story in a beautiful and often thought-provoking way. We also didn't run into any other tour groups, so it felt like a very unique experience, really special.

On the food side, everything was perfect. The types of food, the timing between foods lol, the amount of food...I have no complaints. Everything was delicious (even the more unconventional things), and every stop was a chance to contextualize that food within the larger history of Berlin, so even while you're eating, you're learning.
On portion sizes, we shared everything and I was satisfied, but not stuffed.
To add context, I went to climb the Victory Tower after the tour, and death did not come. I was also hungry enough for dinner later that night, but didn't need any food until dinner. For me, that was a plus, because I wasn't looking to be out of commission for the whole day.

So overall, I had a fantastic time and definitely recommend that you stop reading reviews and go book your Fork and Walk tour. If you have active taste buds and like to have fun, you're gonna love it. I certainly did and will definitely go on another one next time I'm in Berlin.

Pro tips to keep the party going:
1. Ask for recommendations afterwards, and then actually go to the recommendations!! Dov was kind enough to provide a variety of them, and they were killer. So incredibly good, and consistently better than the spots I picked based off my own research.

2. Pay attention to your surroundings and take notes of things that you want to come back to. I was able to come back and pick up some beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces at some boutiques were passed, but I would have never found those places, if not for this tour.

Gene here. I have come across this comparison once or twice in my life / every second day. So i am his double and as such we must further represent the world of food (and not only chocolate). Delighted you loved journey through Berlin's food scene while hearing the story of Berlin culture through its food. For us it was a pleasure having someone as enthusiastic as yourself on tour, very much appreciated and enjoyed! Keep eating and hope to see you on our new Fork & Walk Tour in Munich!
