Very informative, definitely recommend doing this tour , our guide oren certainly knows his stuff. And he explained events of history with passion, thank you Oren !

This was a perfect tour to see the Cold War sites of Berlin. However, there was not enough time to take photos and needed to return to some parts on a following day. At one stage our guide crossed a road and continued his tour but several of the group had been left behind when the traffic lights changed. All in all the guide had a good knowledge however at times seemed uncertain and his photo folder could have been more organised.

Peter our guide was extremely knowledgable and made us laugh with his many anecdotes. Well organised and run. Lovely coffee break by Checkpoint Charlie. Would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent tour. Our tour guide Campbell was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He used his knowledge and the odd humorous anecdote to make this a lovely experience captivating our attention throughout.

We met up with our Guide outside the Railway Station and were shown onto a very modern and comfortable bus with air conditioning. The guide was very friendly and spoke very good English , my only comment was he tended to ramble on and forget what he was talking about. It took about 50 minutes to get to our destination where we ere dropped off near the small museum. Our guide then gave us a brief over view of the site before we set off to walk to the actual compound. Please be aware there is a lot of walking and I mean a lot of walking on uneven surfaces and hardly anywhere to sit and rest. The sun was out and it was quite mild in Berlin, but be aware it is a very exposed site and gets very , very cold. There are toilets and a small shop on site. You approach the camp through the original Tower A and you are met by a desolate landscape giving a sense of the unimaginable horrors that took place here. You can climb the tower which gives you an overview of what lies ahead. You visit a reconstructed prisoner barracks where there is also a chilling exhibition . You then walk round to the original cell block and again try and take in the horrors that took place here. You then walk round to see the execution pit , ovens and other horrific torture sites. Our guide was very informative and was happy to answer questions. This is a very moving and thought provoking tour and definitely worth a visit when in Berlin.

We booked a 13:30 tour and couldn't make it due to transport issues: NO PROBLEM - bumped us onto the same tour the next day!! Our tour guide, Campbell from Oz was great. Very knowledgeable and funny, he made the tour very enlightening and interesting. I would definitely recommend this tour.

I highly recommend this entertaining and informative tour. Xavier was engaging and knowledgeable. In terms of practical tips; (1) wrap up for the weather (we went on 30 November); and (2) there are no toilet facilities at the start.

Giles was an excellent guide and enthusiastic throughout, we learned so much about recent history. Great value, fun and got some exercise as well!

Artie, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about history! He gave a great overview of German history before delving into WW2 and the Cold War era, with answers to all our questions he did go over two hours but this was not an issue, we definitely got value for money

Brilliant tour! Our guide Steve was fantastic kept a group of 30 people together and engaged the whole 3.5hrs. Great knowledge and sense of humour! A must do if in Berlin. Thankyou Steve!
