I will recommend people to go alone to take their own time to take pictures and go into all the exhibits.
Maria our guide was very good, knowledgeable, but I wanted to see more of the exhibits to understand the history more. We look through the windows because there was not enough time.

Very informative
Very informative. If you prefer a guide to a headset this is a great choice. Be prepared to walk from the train to the camp.

One of a kind visit
Cambell was an amazing guide. Very helpful getting tickets, giving details before the tour. During the long day at an incredible location he was very knowledgeable and answered all sorts of questions. This is an all day tour he kept up the interred time. The sore is very somber as the history of it is terrible but interesting visiting such a place.
I strongly recommend this one of a kind tour and hopefully you get Cambell.

We took a tour of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp with Maria (in English) through Insider Tour, and really appreciated her insights! Highly recommend going on this tour, as you get much more in depth knowledge and context - rather than going on your own. Maria was incredibly knowledgable, pleasant and an absolutely wonderful guide!

We recently visited Sachsenhausen using Insider Tour. The day was very organised, our guide Nickolai was fantastic. Nickolai was very informative and the tour went at a good pace. Having utilised this tour operator the prior day for a walking tour in Berlin we were not disappointed. All of the guides were friendly, spoke fantastic English, had a wealth of knowledge and the tours are very reasonable for the quality provided.

Visited here on the 8th March 2020. We used insider tours and our guide was Nickolai.
This tour involved using public transport and Nickolai made this very easy to use making sure everyone was in the right place.
The concentration camp it's self was incredibly insightful giving a massive insight to what happened in these camps. Nickolai knew everything you could possibly want to know about the camp. From the moment of seeing the headquarters to walking in this place has a very somber feel to it. The entrance itself is breathtaking. It really makes you think about what people must have though coming in here.
I would recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in seeing these camps even as a small in comparison this place is very emotional and really hits home the conditions they would have experienced. As the camp is relatively intact.

A fantastic tour and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin. Sarah was our guide and what fantastic knowledge of the history of the camp she had. She was brilliant. She took us from Berlin city out to Sachsenhausen by train and gave us a lot of background information before we left the city. Her knowledge of the camp was fantastic. She answered every question that was asked of her and gave us a very real insight into life in the camp during the war. She even recommended movies that were based on the camp. The camp itself was cold but the way the memorial is designed and displayed gives a very good idea of how things were. Some of the original buildings remain but a lot is reproduced and we were made aware of this. This is to give us a better idea of how things were. Sarah also gave a great insight into how the camp was run, who was running it and how it was for both the prisoners and the guards who worked there.

Sachsenhausen tour with Mike Stack
Really good tour & well organised. Couldn’t of asked for anyone more knowledgeable than Mike Stack from Insider Tours. Explained everything & the story behind it, has visual aids to show with his iPad. Was very friendly & thrived on folk from the group asking him questions. Nothing was an issue for him. Sachsenhausen itself was an eye opener, it was a cold and wet day and that just added to the experience of what atrocities took place there.
